We have been taking our min pin, Cocoa, to Dr. Armstrong for years. Now that she's older (15) and her needs are changing, Dr. Armstrong always makes solid recommendations for us to help her age as healthily as possible. Her staff is amazing, always making everyone feel welcome! Especially the animals!:)

I have both a cat and a dog, both of which are so well taken care of when we need to go to the vet. I've had a few unexpected vet visits and they are so accommodating and help making decisions for my pets' health easier.

Extremely kind and attentive staff! Dr. Armstrong is always so knowledgeable and accommodating. We decided to leave our prior vet because we did not receive adequate service. Not here!! We made the switch to Damascus vet about 4 years ago, and even though it's a longer drive (about 15 extra mins), I don't mind because I know my pup is getting the best service/treatment every time we come here!

Fantastic vet hospital with exceptional staff! I've known Dr. Armstrong for a very long time and she is one of the most thorough and compassionate vets I have met. Dr. Skirvin is also wonderful. Highly recommended!

They have been terrific to deal with. My Scottish Terrier received a diabetes diagnosis at age 10 and I’m so fortunate to have had the staff at Damascus Veterinary Hospital to help guide us through it. Ellie is doing better and better and we are very grateful.

Dr. Armstrong and her staff has taken great care of my dog for years! Both her and Dr. Skirvin are very knowledgeable and treat your dog like their own. Couldn't imagine going anywhere else for pet care.

I had not taken my pet rats to the vet before, but when one of them suffered degenerative leg disorder and could no longer eat, I reached out to see if DVH could help ease his passing. Despite it being a full weekend, they squeezed me in right before closing. Their compassion and kindness comforted me, and their gentle ways helped my boy pass on peaceful. I will remain grateful to them as long as I remember my pet.

Been going here with all my pets since I moved here. The entire staff is wonderful, all my dogs are well taken care of and my cat, who hates strangers, actually does as well as fractious cat can. Highly recommend

Love this Vet hospital! The staff are all so warm and caring. Several times my dog needed emergency visits and they saw my dog right away. Several years ago, when my sister was visiting, her dog fell ill and they got an appointment right away as if they were regular clients. When one of our dogs had to be put to sleep, the entire staff was so amazing in their caring for us and our dog. They made a horrible time more bearable. Dr. Armstrong is amazing! Highly recommend them!

They saved the day! We are not regular patients of Dr. Armstrong but we called late in the day just before a big snowstorm hit because our cat scratched our dog’s eyeball and our usual vet was closed. The wonderful woman who answered the phone let us know they were short-staffed but she worked to get in touch with Dr. Armstrong and were able to see us.Once there, my husband and our dog were treated like they had been customers for years. The staff stayed late and called around to multiple pharmacies to find the meds our dog needed. Maybe even most importantly - our dog likes them :)We can’t thank Dr. Armstrong and her staff enough.

This was my first visit to this location. If I knew Dr. Armstrong from the beginning I would have never wasted my time and energy with Banfield. Unfortunately my furbaby was too ill for her to medically treat him so I had to put him down. Her patients and caring words will never be forgotten. A couple months ago (I know I am late with this review) My dog past away. I used to take her to Damascus veterinary hospital but then I moved her to paws & claws (Glad I Did). When I was still taking her to the Damascus veterinary hospital, I remember that they have photos on the wall of all their patients that come there. I remember she was up there as well, so I decided to come & pick up her photo. I wanted to call first & ask if that was okay. The lady who was working at the front desk during that time (never got her name) chuckled & just said “Um Okay” .. I was very uncomfortable with the conversation. It just got awkward from there so I hung up & drove over there. When I got there, she was questioning me about the photo as I was trying to take it down from the wall. She asked me “How do you even know that’s your dog? We have a lot of chocolate labs up there”. I told her “I know what my dog looks like, I know her collar & leash” She just laughed when I said that & continued to work on the computer. She did not say goodbye to me, she didn’t say sorry for your loss. She was just very rude & had no sympathy for the fact that I just lost my dog.
