It was a great riding experience! As a beginner, it was nice to get to know Baxter and warming up by grooming them first, and then learning simple turns before heading out to the trail. Our group enjoyed going up the trail with a walking & trotting pace, then got to the top to take pictures, while the horses munched on grass. Very fun time!

My experience at this farm was tremendous.The area is beautiful and the staff is extremely helpful. This would most definitely be a place I would return to. I highly recommend it for any level of experience riders.

Spring Gap Farm: The best horseback riding experience ever! I can only encourage everyone to try this out!This was a unique experience that combines education and trail riding. The horses were all beautiful and well behaved. It was an absolutely great experience and there was plenty of time on the trails. Kina and Kenny provided knowledgeable instruction and encouragement all along the way.SGF is a must see if you are in the area or just passing through!

Spring Gap Farm is a good place to get a horse experience. Me and my sister have never rode a horse before, but Kina showed us the ropes (literally). Kina showed us how to brush the horses and we got to feed them. She paired us with Bonnie and Jasper, they were super gentle and sweet. We went on a trail ride and through the woods a bit, we both had a lot of fun😁.

I had an amazing time here with my family, 10 out of 10 would recommend. I literally want to quit my current job and work here. That is how much I enjoyed my time and the staff. The farm is beautiful, the trails are perfect and there is one to satisfy each rider. Very knowledgeable and personal, the horses are beyond gorgeous and range in sizes. You can tell the horses are loved and well taken care of. Its just an great atmosphere, i definitely will be returning!

A wonderful experience! My friend and I wanted to go horse back riding while we were on vacation in Maryland at the Rocky Gap resort and her farm was only a 25 min drive away. I explained to kina that I was only on a horse once before on a trail ride and the horses were not well trained. She reassured me her horses were gentle and she would make sure I had a great time for my 50th birthday. Well she came through and we had a great time! Everyone should go for their first of many rides here!!

Spring Gap Farm with Kina and Kenny is an absolute gem!! They’re such fun, enthusiastic, encouraging instructors who answer all our questions, helped us bond with our horses and made sure we were comfortable before riding. Our horses were sweet, well trained and had plenty of personality. Kina took a gazillion photos of us on our horses, which we really appreciate for memories! I wish I lived closer, this is the best horse riding experience I’ve had so far and would love to come back for more lessons. 5/5 stars!!

Great experience!!! We’re a family of inexperienced riders and everyone was so kind and patient with us. My twins learned so much about the care and handling of horses. Kenny was so knowledgeable and great with the kids! The horses at Spring Gap are well cared for! Thanks for a great day!

Amazing experience! Drove in from Columbus Ohio for the day with our 3 kids and Kina and her boyfriend went above and beyond to make it fun! We had no experience with horses and they were so patient and kind and taught us so much. Took us on a horseback riding and even our 6 year old was able to come along on a pony! Highly recommend! Beautiful horses and location.

I had a great time with everyone at the farm. Kina was professional and knowledgable about all the horses. She matched us with horses by the horses' personality. I was matched with Crusader. He was a gentle giant that loved grass.As a beginner, the trail was not difficult and had fun. I would definitely want to go back again.

My husband and I were staying at the Savage River Lodge and thought a trail ride would be fun. We found Spring Gap Farm and they responded to my inquiry very quickly and were very helpful. Not only were they easy to communicate with but the trail ride was so fun! It was just us with a few of their staff but we were able to get some great pics they took and really enjoyed the ride.

This was my first time ever near a horse aside from petting zoos, Kina and her team at Spring Gap Farm made my family and I feel right at home and welcome, the horses were extremely friendly and the horseback ride for all four of us was beyond reasonable in pricing. I’ll say most relevant of all, was the freedom to breathe and experience a beautiful view with no mask, they are optional, and rest assured this team is taking every precaution to keep a safe and clean environment through the COVID-19 pandemic. 5 stars all day! I look forward to coming back very VERY soon!!

You could tell that Kina and Kenny have special relationships with each and every horse. They were so patient and helpful with my family. We had almost zero experience but we were handling our horses confidently by the end of our ride. A great experience!!

It was my second time ever on a horse and I was immediately put at ease by the staff there. Kina was amazing in helping me choose the right horse. I got to feed and brush Poncho before going for a ride. The natural ambience at Spring Gap Farm is so tranquil and welcoming. I'm really glad I found it on my visit to Cumberland!

This barn offers boarding, fox hunting, show experience, recreational trips, or just simple pleasure. If you are looking to make some lifetime friends, or a skilled instructor to increase your riding skills, this is the place to do it. Kina Davis has a lifetime of equestrian experience to offer. She seems to be thrilled with every rider's accomplishments small or large. It truly is a place of a serene equestrian experience.

I was fortunate enough to spend a weekend at SGF with Kina Davis. She is a knowledgeable and caring horsewoman, who has learned the art of guiding all to be the best riders possible. This facility is more than a horse farm, there is an atmosphere of openness, safety and a place to truly grow and excel. The horse stock is WELL taken care of, healthy, calm and adjusted. I just can't say enough positive things. Corporate outing destination has been finally chosen. Can't wait to spoil our staff at your farm.
