We were pleasantly surprised at what a good lunch we had. Bradford was our server and he was very friendly and attentive. The fried chicken, sides, and crabby fries were all delicious and homemade. We would definitely return and try some other options especially during the summer months when it is nicer. The place is nothing fancy, but then again prices very reasonable and not over inflated. Good sweet tea and he made a fresh pot of coffee for us which we appreciated.

Amazing waitstaff and friendly customers. We started with wet cornbread which is a childhood favorite of mine. Then crabby fries, cheese crab dip on top of boardwalk fries. Main dishes were both dinner specials. Stuffed flounder and CrabCakes dinner both with two sides. They offered many side dish options. It was nice to see their lunch and dinner specials posted on their Facebook. We didn’t leave room for dessert. Wish we would’ve taken dessert to go.

It was quite busy and easy to see they were overwhelmed. The waitress was very nice and apologetic about this so I would not hold it against them.However, the food was just not very good which I will hold against them. The crab cake had way too much mayonnaise and did not maintain its structure. The Mac and Cheese and Mashed potatoes was not very good, they tasted like a store microwave version. The Mac and cheese had too much grease or butter, could not tell which. The chicken was bland and very greasy. Flounder was ok.There was also like a million flys running around the whole time.

Went to Waters Edge for dinner. This Monday, for the dinner special. Prime rib. Asked if it was rare. Was told we could get it anyway we like. Not the case.. it was Over cooked. Looked like it was reheated from the previous day. Although the wait staff was very nice and apologetic. The Owner was not. She grabbed our plates took them back and said oh well my husband can eat it tonight for dinner. The reason I feel we were given leftovers is they're closed on Tuesdays. I feel we should of been told it was well done before trying to serve it to us. Since we were told we could have anyway we liked. We won't be back .. was trying to support a local business.☹️

The Pros:Down Home Dining! Eats were authentic scratch kitchen delicious & generously portioned 😋 Our server Fallon was Fantastic on eats suggestions! The jr. host {Gabe 😍} was super adorable, pleasant and informative! My husband had the Crab Cake & Fries which he loved and I had the tasty piled high West Coast Reuben with fries & sweet stewed tomatoes. The house-made ice cream with toasted pineapple stuffing was a perfect finish to a yummy meal!The Con:No Fried Chicken 😔 all sold out so it must be good stuff! (We'll be back to try some)....

The food was really good! I was a bit taken back by the stewed tomatoes as I had never had them with cinnamon but it was surprisingly yummy! The cornbread is delish, homemade southern style... wish I had the recipe. Crab cakes were amazing and not much filler and what little filler it had was very tasty. My husband loved his Rueben sandwich too.Our server (I’m terrible with names) was I believe Anna or Annie... anyway she was brand new and you would have never know it if I hadn’t thrown her a curveball with having a milk allergy. She checked the items for milk and was thorough. Very attentive and kind. Next time we come to Chincoteague area will stop in Crisfield just to have lunch here.

Our cream of crab soup came out cold, it was thick and very bland. The crab balls were a big disappointment.

We came for breakfast and dinner right before heading over to Smith Island. Everything we ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS. Got the crab cake special with mashed potatoes. Was sooooo good! Had a lot of crab and no unnecessary breading filling.The people that work here and the owner were all so nice. If I lived closer I would come here all the time. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area

Nestled in the small town of Crisfield, Waters Edge Cafe is a must stop when visiting or traveling down the Eastern Shore. The location has two dining areas, a more conventional restaurant as well as a retro themed restaurant with ice cream and soda fountains. The options of food were slightly more limited than other American food options in Crisfield, but the quality was excellent. The East Coast Reuben was particularly good, with melt in your mouth corn beef. The waitress and waiter who helped us that evening were respectful and very friendly. All in all, Waters Edge Cafe is an excellent Crisfield establishment. If you’re visiting Crisfield proper or simply passing by, stop in! You won’t regret it.

This is such a cute, well created, retro diner. Hidden in a small town, nestled near the Chesapeake Bay. While having a small meal I kept having thoughts of Leave it to Beaver, and The Andy Griffith Show, or American Graffiti.

Chloe was sweet but she really needs to get out of the house more often. Her recommended items were not very good. The best crab dip in town was obviously the only crab dip in town and the crab imperial was actually "crab tasting" imperial which was an embarrassment to any crab lover. It's been 50 years since we've been to Crisfield and because of our experience, it will probably be 50 more before we go back.

It’s a very nice setting and the food was adequate. My wife’s order was wrong (and not something she could eat) and it took a while for a remake. So my food was gone before hers arrived. At a lower price point maybe but it was ‘meh’ at best.
