Simple space with the basics, a little dated. Clean. There is a 150$ deposit in addition to the room charge. They neglected to give me a receipt for either transaction, which seemed odd. When I asked for one, only the room charge was listed. I'm trusting the deposit will be refunded as stated, but they were just a bit too laxed with the paperwork and front-end procedures for me. Overall, decent enough for a short term stay.

Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Location is great.Unfortunately we stayed in a room on the first floor. About 3 AM a person in the room above started walking around and moving (stuff). The noise kept us awake until about 7 AM when we decided to leave for breakfast.It's a pretty nice place, but don't stay on the first floor in the white building. I don't know about the brick building, it was closed.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels, for a Rodeway Inn I was not expecting much. Boy I was wrong, our room was completed updated and very nice and super clean. The pool is also completely renovated and very nice. This owner cares about his customers. I think other reviews may have been prior to the renovations have been completed. The on site owners were extremely helpful. I highly recommend this place!

We had a pet room so we were on bottom floor overlooking the “empty” pool (June 20, 2023). There was nowhere to deposit pet waste so our pet waste was collected and placed in a bag and left outside of patio door. We notified staff it was there and explained why.Rooms somewhat outdated, linoleum floors weren’t clean and everything else was terrible. Room had a extreme strong smell of mold with high humidity. Patio door did not have a screen so leaving the door open, for fresh air, was next to impossible due to flies but thats what we had to do and then purchased fly swatters. Patio doors were clouded white in most rooms. Patio door did not have a lock but did have a hand made bar to prop up to keep door inoperable.Overgrown walking paths.Outside of motel needs many renovations.We had reservations for 3 nights and should have left in the first 15 minutes. No refunds! So we braved it out and I became sick from the mold spores within the room. Wasn’t worth it!!!Most stores are closed in-town.Pictures are included to verify complaint.**** In response to owner review ****- We were told, by staff, pool is usually closed until July because of June heavy rains causing dirt to wash into pool.- Our receipt specifically says “no refunds.”- Patio doors are very old, without screens, and cloudiness just didn’t happen in a year and there are more than two.- I didn’t say room had visual mold.- Staff was kind but rooms are very undesirable.

Excellent Motel, rooms are very clean and updated. Nice cold ac in the room. Owner's are very nice and friendly. Pool is awesome, ranges in depth from 3' to 9' and large enough to to do laps and enjoy a nice evening Pool is clean and well maintained!If your looking for a quiet relaxing stay this is the place!Rooms: Rooms are very clean.Nearby activities: Waterside in Crisfield is beautiful.Safety: Safe and well lit facility.Walkability: Easy to take walks along the wildlife estuary.

My sister and I always stay here when visiting Crisfield. We've stayed here several times, different rooms. We stayed there just two days ago. It is in a beautiful, quiet location. Rooms are always very clean. Beds very comfortable. Owners on site and very friendly and there if you need them for anything. My sister and I are native Crisfielders. I read the review that Darlene Z wrote, and I have to say that the "path" she's talking about and posted pictures of is not their property, I'm pretty sure it belongs to the Marina-it has been there a long time. It would not be in that shape if it belonged to the Inn. Also the pool was completely redone, which was why it was in that shape. Now it will be even nicer than it was before. We will continue to stay here when we visit.

We have enjoyed our time here greatly! Our room is clean and updated fairly well. All of the rooms have either a balcony or patio looking over the pool with a nice backyard area. The pool and pool area are kept clean. It is very quiet and right on the bay (bonus points for how affordable this place is!). And the owners are SO KIND!! They have been so helpful and have made our stay wonderful! We will absolutely be back!!Edited to add: we had a flat tire leaving the hotel this morning and the owner came out to help us through the whole thing! He was so sweet to my kids while we waited patiently(lol) for them to finish the tire. We can't thank them enough for such a wonderful stay at the Rodeway Inn!

The last time I stayed here it was under the old ownership. Back then, the place was run down. In fact it was kinda dingy back then.New management has really taken strides in making this place nice! The room was clean, tile floor throughout, which I like. I think that makes it easier to clean.I had my dog with me, so we got a ground floor room looking out on the pool, which was clearly renovated. Crystal clear water, nice and cool, and very well maintained without being overly chemically treated. Props to their pool person on the use of less chemicals!In the room, I mentioned the tile floors, but a fridge, microwave and coffee maker, excellent start. The furniture has it's bumps and bruises, but the bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean clean clean, as was the comforter.The wifi is a bit slow. I work from home, so I was doing some work while staying.The ac in the rooms could make a meat locker out of a room. Thank God because we had a high of 113 the one day.The staff was friendly and courteous.All in all a HUGE difference from the old ownership, and a MASSIVE improvement.

The manager of the motel was so friendly, welcoming and helpful! She suggested an upstairs room for the view and let us pick the room we wanted! The room was spacious and the views were beautiful! The bed is comfortable. There is a nice pool. My only suggestions are that there needs to be an extra nightstand so there is one on both sides of bed and a comfy chair to be able to sit on apart from the bed and desk chair. Good place to stay in Crisfield area.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. For a tiny Rodeway Inn at what feels like the end of the Earth, it is clean, comfortable, and well kept. The management/staff is wonderful. They're so helpful, professional, and kind. There's little luxury to this place, but the obvious care put into it to keep it up in a part of the world where there are little resources and often harsh living conditions is so commendable. Would recommend and would stay again!Technical things:I booked online which worked great. Check-In was a breeze.Wifi was plenty fast for what I needed to do for work while I was there as well as streaming netflix and Hulu to my computer.The room was clean with working AC unit. Only one resident spider in the corner that I left to kindly take care of any other potential teeny residents.Old, but effective fixtures except a clearly updated bed and bedding- much appreciated! So cozy!No odd smells- difficult at any coast with fighting the moisture constantly.Full refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer, coffee maker, and safe.Generously-sized room with desk space and good sized TV.

Our room is clean. There is a full sized refrigerator freezer and microwave in the room. The staff is nice and helpful. Two things that I find a little annoying: the ice machine is only accessed by the front desk personnel. So you have to go to the front desk and ask for ice when you need it. Second thing is, while the TV is a large flat screen, the guide says "to be announced" on EVERY channel. So you have no idea what is going to be on. That being said, we will stay here again if we come back to this area.

Really great motel with fantastic owners. We mainly came here since it was pet friendly and were happy to find a clean and comfortable space. They offer a weekly discount if you call. The rooms have a fridge and microwave and the bedding is so soft and comfy. The pool was really nice in the July heat and is 9 ft deep! Highly recommend!

Clean rooms. When I first got there, I did not understand why they did not have an ice machine where people can use it. Now I do. I’ve seen the inside of the lobby. They could put a breakfast table out there. We stayed in room 105 the sliding door was difficult to open and close. Someone had to come and close it, but every time it rained water will go on the floor just inside of the room.

We stayed one night after our Crab Cruise. We were looking for something rather affordable and we were pleasantly surprised. The outside doesn't match the inside. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The room also didn't have a moldy smell dispite the very humid weather. Also the grounds were well kept with flowers and an excellent 9 foot deep POOL. Perfect for a small town stay.
