I moved to Crisfield 4 months ago. My parents visited from Philly and wanted crabs so they picked up a dozen from Linton's. They were the best crabs any of us have ever had. They were incredibly sweet and juicy. We've had lots of good crabs but we were utterly stunned by how good these were. Can't wait to eat here again!

I ordered the jumbo ss crabs last year for my parents & they said they were great. This year I ordered the whaler size ss crabs & they were extremely disappointed. They were smaller than the jumbo size & skinnier. My mother said they were not fresh & also dry. She called the company & was told to cook them “this way” She tried & they were still terrible.So unfortunately, my father’s special bday dinner was awful. I will not be ordering from Linton again.

We were camping at Jane's Island State Park for 4 days. I'm thinking crabs and beer. I called Linton's . My order was ready in 10 minutes. The only complaint was that the crabs were not hot but definitely delicious and definitely large. Price was reasonable . I will go there again.

I've been wanting to stop here for so long. Good old seafood shack on the side of the highway. The flounder sandwich is insanely good, a huge portion and only 8 bucks! Soft shells, littlenecks, steamed shrimp: all fantastic and served with small town friendliness.

Went to pick up oysters ,they were closed by the time I got there,the owner just happened to drive by taking one of his workers home,seen me sitting in the parking lot, he pulled into the parking lot open the store and let me in,bought my oysters, by the time I left they had 3 more pull in,he benefited and so did i Oysters were great.

These carbs are BARELY edible! I ordered 2 dozens of lightly seasoned crab, but they are so salty! I feel I am eating mouth full of salt. The crabs are not fresh either, do not buy! I literally opened them and had one bite then throw them to the garbage! Really salty! I called the company, they said will call me back, but never did, poor customer service as well!

After speaking with them on the phone, I took a chance and ordered 10 lb of snow crab legs. This is always risky online, however I was pleasantly surprised this time. They were sweet and packaged carefully so there was not a bunch of broken pieces as we have found from other companies. We will definitely order again.

Finally got my crabs from the mess up from the delivery carrier for July 4th, received my half bushel yesterday and boy let me tell ya Linton's is the best crabs ever !!! Nicely packaged and not a 1 crab was cracked or broke. I order all the way from Nashville TN, great job guys ill be ordering again soon. Posted my pictures

My mom ordered 6 steamed crabs to be shipped to my brother in Colorado for his birthday. They shipped 2nd day. Well when they arrived the ice packs were melted & the crabs were warm. In addition to that the meat in the crabs was very dry & inedible. This was very expensive for my MO. Who is a senior citizen on a fixed income. She is very upset. My brother will be calling Lintons on Monday to see if they will refund my mom. Hopefully they will do sonethjng.

Have been ordering from Lintons for more than 15 years. Their next day delivery is always pkg perfectly for delivery & arrives to me here in Philly on my doorstep before 3pm. Customer service is great nice friendly group of people taking orders over the phone. I've ordered from other places that ship seafood especially hard shell crabs & have been disappointed each time.Not here very order from Linton's has shown their commitment to serving the best seafood products avaliable. They have made me a customer for life. Keep up the good work & God you all.

Got two dozen extra large crabs, delivered to my house out in Connecticut back in May. They were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. I plan on ordering more seafood from these guys in the future for overnight shipping.

I bought a half bushel of lg crabs .they came Friday 21.i open right away. They had no cold in them .were exceptionally wet. Botton layer in very salty water.not edible.the rest of the crabs were real wet. I used to work for a large crab house in Baltimore I shipped a crab order it was hot when put in styro phone box. When people got them the yard they were waterlogged .this is very similar to crabs I got. I have bought crabs from you before and they were great .I am very disappointed in this order.

I was down that way from PA. to visit family for my mother's birthday and the 4th of July. I got a bushel of large crabs, they were good not great but good. I think they size their crabs with what they have. The large crabs aren't really true large crabs for sure! They are the large crabs that they have on hand. But for $380 I would have expected bigger but that's not to say they weren't good. The seasoning they use is awesome! My family including myself loved it. It's not old bay but still very good tasting. I've been here 2 times now and will probably go back sometime again. They usually have crabs when most places are sold out and I got them on short notice.

We only ever buy crabs and shrimp from lintons we always know we are getting good quality every time and this past weekend was the best we have received by far out of all our times, got a bushel of large crabs they were full heavy crabs tons of meat but we also always have pleasant service!

Just received our order of a dozen jumbo crabs today!! Some weren't 6 inches,and were extremely light and soft the meat was gray and slimy and smelled like ammonia. Threw away most of them!

Horrible service. I have been a repeat customer for years with them. I placed an order for delivery and they changed it to come earlier when I was not gonna be home due to the holidays. No communication in regards to that. Then they place a hold on delivery to be delivered original request. So crabs are sitting somewhere for five days to be delivered. so getting five day old crabs.....gross. No will contact me back. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The prompt delivery was the only thing good about this order. I ordered a dozen male crabs, which I have ordered in the past from here. The order got here and I unpacked them to find the ice packs melted on the bottom. The ice packs should have been on top, but they weren't. Second, the crabs were over cooked. The meat on some of them were edible, but not the claw portion. Some were not edible at all, the shells even crumbled to the touch. One or two were edible out of a dozen. I used to live in Maryland as a kid and ate plenty of crab that were fully seasoned. Several of the crabs in this order tasted like I was licking a salt cube. I am very disappointed in this order. The crabs used to be great but not anymore. I would not suggest ordering any crabs from this place unless they change the processing. Oh and just two to three weeks ago their cheapest shipping was $10 less.

Although I have visited the local area for over 20 years, I never once ventured to Crisfield..., but thank goodness I did. This little spot is a quaint and charming seafood joint, offering fresh, made to order items. For my son, the chicken tenders were great. As for myself, the crab balls were amazing. I wanted to do the shrimp, but opted for the crab balls instead. I do promise that the next time, which may be tomorrow, I will get the shrimp. Apparently the snow crab legs are amazing because multiple customers came in for that exact order. The clerk was an added bonus. Had the Southern charm of a gentleman with great customer service skills. Keep up the great work, Linton's staff. You have found a customer for life.

Ordered on line and although I could not get my order on the day requested I got a call from Linton and they we so thoughtful. The hard crabs were shipped to Arizona and were still cold on arrival! So delicious 😋. I will make sure to keep their number handy, thank you so much!

Ordered crabs for Friday, 28th delivery. UPS changed the date to May 31 supposedly because of weather. I contacted Linton. They contacted UPS and changed it to Saturday, today. Those crabs were great, meaty and seasoned to perfection. Their customer service was right on and really appreciated the phone call from Mr. Linton. Customer service and quality. Thank you

I wanted to be pleased. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The crabs arrived on time and were packaged great. But the quality of what I ordered and what I received terrible. I ordered premium Jumbo male blue crabs (1/2 bushel). I received light, small, smashed and broken crabs. A few were ok maybe a dozen, but still not worthy of Jumbo title.

I ordered from them a few times in the last year normally the crabs are perfect but this delivery yesterday was the worst and a waste of money and time I have ever had. I really would like a full refund because I still have 2 dozen of them left and they are the worst. Light weight salty tasting is not great crabs at the least for $100.00. I may get high blood pressure from eating these.

Fresh Carb Meat arrived frozen solid.Soft Shells are tough.Lousy customer service.I have ordered from Linton's several times before and was always very happy with the order. Not this time. I ordered one pound of Jumbo Lump crab meat, a dozen whale soft shells, and four lobster tails.Carb Meat - The crab meat was supposed to be fresh but it arrived frozen. Solid as a rock. When I emailed the company I was informed that was because the other items in my order needed to be frozen so the carb meat was shipped sitting on dry ice. No apology. I guess that I was supposed to know this and it was my fault. So we had to thaw the crab meat before preparing and it did not taste the same as the prior orders. Perhaps it was because it is out of season. Either way, it was unacceptable.Soft Shells - Upon opening my order, I immediately noted that the package of soft shells was not labeled for size. There are check boxes for indicating the size. When I opened the package, the size greatly varied. I believe that they simply shipped the ones that were getting old. Some were whale sized, others not so much. They biggest issue was that they were not really soft shells. I lived on the eastern shore of Maryland and have dip netted for crabs myself and know what a true soft shell should feel like. These were not what I was used to. Everyone in the family commented on how thick the shells were. We have never needed a steak knife to cut a soft shell. We fed them to the dog. Whether they had matured to paper shells or the freezing process toughen the shells, do not order these if you want to taste a true soft shell crab.Lobster Tails - I will acknowledge that the lobster tails were fine but you can get them from a number of online sources for the same price. I just ordered them because i was buying crab as well. This company appears to just buy the lobster tails in bulk and resell them. Nothing wrong with this but there are plenty of online retailers of lobster tails.Customer Service - This company does not appear to care about is customers. They appear to simply ship whatever they have and figure no one knows the difference or they do not care if a customer complains. There are other online retailers of these products, including others in Crisfield, and I would try them next before ordering from Linton's again.

I am a soft shell crab lover and was saving up to have some shipped here to OK. Meanwhile, I receive some from my daughter on the east coast. They were paper shell! 🤢 I called customer service and they were very nice and although I didn’t ask, they sent another order. I was sure they would be delicious….. …again, PAPERSHELL!!! Instead of complaining again, I just cooked them and ate what I could. No point in wasting food. There was so much leftover shell and cartilage, I may as well have been picking hard shells.Not a happy experience!Okay, I have to add that I was given a very generous Linton’s gift certificate for Christmas which I had to redeem. Needless to say, I did NOT use it for softies! I’ve finished trying to get any decent ones! I ordered jumbo lump & reg. Lump crab meat which was DELICIOUS!! Probably ought to tack on a couple of more stars, but I can’t get over the awful crunchy “soft” crabs!!

Ordered 1 dozen jumbo crabs and received medium crabs. Oysters and Clams were on the verge of being warm. Apparently their shipping department does not talk calls at 4:00 PM (eastern time) I was unable to speak to anyone. Total price was approximately $200 and I will not be ordering from them again. Based on the previous reviews, I do not expect we will be receiving any sort of response.

My sister was scammed by this company's "100% guaranteed" crabs that they ship out to people. Last year, my aunt ordered some of crabs from this company for my sister and her family really enjoyed them. So, this year, my sister decided to return the favor by ordering a dozen crabs for my aunt. $125 she spent for a dozen crabs, mind you. It's crazy expensive but a Marylander is gonna do what a Marylander has gotta do.What even a Maryland won't do though is eat rotten crabs. So, when the crabs came with a fishy smell and a rotten flavor, my sister did what any normal person would do, she emailed the company asking for the guaranteed refund and waited for a response.And waited... and waited... and waited.Two weeks passed without response. So, my sister(who works full time in addition to taking care of two kids) set aside time to call Linton's to ask what was going on and the way she was treated was just disgraceful. They basically accused her of lying about the crabs and, apparently, the 100% guarantee actually means that if you call and say you got rotten crabs, they'll tell you that they can "100% guarantee" that you're lying and must just be trying to get free crabs.They refused to replace the order of spoiled crabs and only after a bunch of hassle on my sister's end did they agree to replace five crabs IF she covers the cost of shipping.What the hell is that? FIVE crabs? That's not even a 50% guarantee. What a scam!p.s. This review will be removed in the event that my sister is actually adequately compensated for the poor quality of the shipment of crabs she paid for.
