Last time I went into this store it was really unorganized in this store seemed like everything was basically just thrown on the shelves and boxes were everywhere and anywhere. Walked out. Couldn’t stand the clutter. Hopefully next time I need something from here the store will be in better shape and more suitable for the public to come in here and not trip over boxes. That’s dollar general for you tho!!!

This store is awful. It’s always messy, and the parking lot is full of cigarette butts. On top of that, the employees smoke next to the entrance doors so you have to smell cigarettes as you walk in. Luckily, there are like 47 more DG’s in a 10 mile radius. So just go to literally any other one. Or, just boycott DG. Have some class, shop at Target. I hope this DG burns down and they put a Wawa in its place, the Rofo next to it is also awful.

I've been to better organized tornado sites. It looks as though when the delivery trucks arrive the goods are dumped into the store from a dump truck and left where they lay. Terrible!

Place looks like a dump. Employees are treated horribly. Forced to work when it's freezing inside the store because of no heat. Always understaffed.

Very ridiculous. Waited outside your store for 20 minutes today before I gave up and left because the doors were just locked with no note or anything. Cars filled the parking lot as we all collectively waited for any employee to open a door or say anything. When I tried calling the store an employee walked over to the phone and took it off the hook to avoid answering. I knocked on the door and employee goes “we’re closed till later” and just walked away. Terrible.

The only thing good about this store is the prices. The store is always a mess. Boxes and carts left down almost every aisle. You can barely get your own cart through. God forbid you need to try and pass someone either. One of you will be backing up. They also do not have enough employees. There are only 2 registers and one of which is usually not being used. The people aren't the friendliest, if its someone they know they will stand there and have a full blown conversation with them while you and everyone behind you is just waiting. This store is very poorly ran. The only reason I keep going back here is because its the closest one to my house and I run in get what I need and go. Other than that if I actually want to shop around I will be going to Delta Dollar General.

first and foremost the manager of the store i’m not sure of her name . she has light brown hair and wears glasses is extremely rude and racist . i’ve seen her kick multiple poc out of the store for no reason and she also accused my daughter of stealing 1$ bubbles . we spend hundreds of dollars weekly at that store . today the manager and a old lady that works there kicked my cousins out of the store because they did not have Doritos in stock when she asked . highly unprofessional and i will be calling the higher ups . this has been a ongoing issue and honestly this lady needs to be fired . the only employee that is a good person in that store is a nice older man that works at the checkout counter .

Friendly and helpful staff. With these stores running on low hrs and low staff and the way they are required to be on phone conferences, price changes, set planograms, receive vendors, get stock put away, train new employees. And let's be honest, these stores receive alot of stock to try and meet their customers needs.2 people per shift is not enough. These people work hard for their paycheck and I think they should get a little appreciation, if you don't agree maybe you should fill out a application and see if you can do better, before you complain.

Not too bad. Good variety and fair prices for a small store in this empty town.Just need to keep parking lot cleaner. Hasn't changed in 5 years....Coupons you can get online are a deal sometimes!

this place is God awful. you literally cant even shop for anything because theres towers of boxes lining every aisle. you cant see the shelves or hardly even walk because of all the clutter. they put closed boxes on the shelves where items are supposed to be. how can you see a product if it's still in the box? the place is an absolute mess. I would never recommend this particular store to anyone. even if they did stock some good items, you'd never know it because they're either 1. still in the box or 2. blocked by a mountain of boxes/totes. most disorganized dollar general I've ever seen. the employees are always just standing around talking and not working. they only ever have 1 register open, so the line is always 10 people long. they clearly haven't cleaned the floors in months (probably because the floors are covered in boxes, they couldn't clean if they wanted to) I'd give zero stars if I could, it's that bad.

Stopped in to pick up something quick on my way home from work and they had the entire aisle closed off because they were stocking shelves. I asked if I could get something and they proceeded to tell me I would have to wait until they are done stocking shelves?!? I walked away to grab something else that I needed only to hear the laughing about not letting me in the aisle and talking about me. Very rude and disrespectful

I am in this store 3-4 days a week I love this store and all the girls that work there but this store needs a district manager that knows what they are doing . Store manager us awesome and truly does the everything she can for the store. The employess work very very hard waiting on customers while also trying to unpack stuff and put it on the shelves. . The shelves are half empty most of the time and boxes are always sitting in the aisles. A good district manager would make sure they are fully staffed so this would happen on a regular basis. Bottom line... Employees great....District manager not doin his/her job. Maybe is the district manager was forced to do the job of store manager and employees for a week or two things would improve.

Great variety of items. Was able to eveb get some vitamins I needed and thermometer. Now they have cigs so I didn't have to go to another store for someone else. Overall very pleased n was quickly in n out!

This is a great store but I can tell you that the store is suppose to close at 10pm. It is a major inconvenience when they up an close at 9pm for what reason I don't know. When there is nothing else around to grab if I need. I can see once but all the time this happens.

Nothing convenient about this convenient store. LONG lines while a single worker runs a single working cash register. But hey, you get to watch 2-3 workers take breaks while you wait in line! When more than one person is out of the "office" at time, whomever is not working the register is either complaining about customers or other workers to the one individual ever so slowly checking out customers. This particular store has now adopted a practice of barricading off isles while they restock shelves. Want milk????? Go somewhere else if it is frozen pizza or ice cream delivery day because you can't physically get to it and be prepared to get yelled at if you have the audacity to move one of their cart barricade. If you think you have seen the worst possible service, you really need to come here and reevaluate your standards for the worst.

I Love Dollar General ! It is worth it to go shopping there because of low product inventory prices ! Grocery cases have everything you could need for the days of a forgetful breakfast ! I love how you can get a balloon at the counter to cheer anyone up ! Smart staff show consumers exactly what they need with great labelling system . A real treat to head into Dollar General to get what you need !

Store is messy, couldn't get down some aisles due to boxes..1 checker with at least 10 people in line. Found aisle marker for lightbulbs but no lightbulbs, they were a couple aisles down. Need to stock either early in the am or at night. Try not to go there unless ansolutely necessary

I've been shopping there since they opened and I must say the service over the past few months has been amazing! I'm greeted when I come in door, advised of current specials and where their located throughout the store.Each staff member greets you with a smile and when checking out they ask I've found everything I need. Very happy with shopping experience!

Dollar General store in Conowingo MD is just not up to par with other Dollar General stores around the area. They can't seem to keep anything in stock and then the store is just in a mess. They have a few good employees that have been there since they started and try to keep it up but without the proper help the store never is stocked, there's been no pet supplies for weeks. Just a hard place to shop now. Other Dollar general stores keep up with their store but Conowingo store just can't seem to keep up with theirs.

Great selection in a clean and well organized store. The employees are wonderful! Helpful, polite, and friendly, they are a shining example of the customer service I HOPE to receive when I go into a store, but rarely find.

The "Wal-Mart" of Conowingo, this is one of the few stores in town and it's pretty good. The staff is generally nice, especially if you take the time to chat occasionally. The variety of products and low prices make this store a welcome location in a small town.

Dollar General Inc. Gave me my very 1st job at 18 years of age. Incredible company! However, the store manager at this location is very rude & inconsiderate. Often times when I'm visiting the store she presents a cold unfriendly demeanor. Its almost like she is angry at customers for shopping. When there are long lines she refuses to give the employees a helping hand. Lastly, she discriminates on who gets to use the public restroom that is always somehow "out of order." Today was my last day shopping at this location.

Only gave it 1 star due to it being close but this is the worst Dollar General I have been in. This location is always in such a mess. Boxes are always sitting in the aisles & I have never seen anyone unpacking them. Can’t get to items due to these boxes in the way. Shelves are either empty or in such a disarray. Very, very unorganized & dirty. Seems like there is no other help but the cashier. Always long lines. This has been going on for quite a while now. What’s going on?

Instead of standing in the long lines of Walmart, i go here first. Prices are just as good, sometimes even better. It's the right sized store for quick convenient trips. I've had good luck with the off brands they sell.My only complaint is they put a lot of their medications and heath items behind loud beeping alarms. I'm trying to concentrate to compare which box of cold medicine to get, and it sounds like someone is trying to steal a car. Whoop whoop beep beep beep beeeeeeep.

This store is always a mess and unorganized. While the staff can be friendly, it's when you can find them and they are not on their cell phones having personal calls. Trying to get assistance is not an easy task.

Help has always been great, as it was today... I forgot an item there, after paying for it. When I remembered and went back, 3 hours later... They still had it sitting there waiting for me, and remembered me when I walked in... Good store, good people.

Good prices especially right now. They are going to be remodeling very soon so they have a lot of things on sale atm. But its only this location in Conowingo, Md. Hopefully they will make it a little bigger then what it is now because its a tight fit in the store.
