Crouch automotive is a great place to work with. I wanted certain tires for my cars and they ordered them and had them the same day. I also had to get my daughters car in ASAP to get tires and serviced and they took it the next day. They did my son’s inspection while we waited. They have three locations, northeast, Conowingo and rising sun. The ladies in the office are amazing and sweet. I highly recommend going there. Oh and they have coffee while you wait.

There’s many reasons why I really like Crouch Automotive but the main reasons that will make me stick with this place until I either die or move away are two big things:1. Honesty. Crouch doesn’t screw you over like other repair shops. They don’t charge out the $&@“ for oil changes, typical 30 point inspections, etc. Their prices are reasonable to where they’re of course making money for themselves, but not making excessive profits to compromise affordability.2. They work with you. I got some cool lights for my Ford a few years ago that I was quoted $800-$1000 to have them installed by a rip-off car modification company in Joppa/Essex area, allegedly they were “top-notch” …. sure. Crouch on the other hand knew it was only a matter of removing the bumper, wiring the lights to my brake lights and turn signals, and reinstalling the bumper. Charged me a fair $350.

I called here today because a light came on I knew nothing about. I live out of state and had no idea where to go, so I called the closest place. Not only did they fix the small issue that was giving me major anxiety, they did it with zero heads up and didn't charge me because it was a simple mistake on my end. AND they took me to my car and actually educated me so I could avoid the issue in the future. 20 minutes later I was back on the road and I couldn't be more grateful.

well it takes a lot for me to write a review but I had to do it. I've been searching for about 4 years for a good diesel shop. My stepdad recommended Crouch Auto so I gave them a whirl. on May 4th I went up to the business because I thought I was having a turbo issue. I read my codes to him and he only suggested a diagnostic check before going any further. This is where I started getting worried thinking this is where a shop starts to nickel and dime you. I set up a appointment with the young lady at the desk she was very nice and respectful and the office was very clean. I went back in on Friday May 8th and that's when I met a mechanic Nate. Nate took my truck back and they have a nice window where you can see inside the shop from the office. I periodically glanced over to see what was going on and checking to see if a diagnostic was really happening. Nate spent @ 45 minutes looking over the truck. He then came back in and tried to explain what the issue was and where he thought the problem was. I asked him if he could specifically show me what he was talking about because I wanted to see first hand. Nate took me back and showed me what he thought the problem was. So I went ahead and ordered the part through them and set the appointment up for Friday May 15th. I went there today and asked Nate if he could either take a picture of the gasket or allow me back to see it. He had no issues with showing me his findings. Nate repaired the truck. Now you wonder why this long dragged out review and what's my point? I WILL RETURN to this shop and recommend them 100%. First and foremost this place was honest front to back beginning to end. Second Nate the mechanic could have ripped me off for a turbo ranging anywhere from $2500 and up but only ended up being minimal cost. He couldn't have explained anything more thorough. He also used paper floor mat and plastic on my seat. He also took my truck for a test drive and appeared he drove it like it was his own. Thank you Nate and Crouch Auto you have my business 100% and recommendation.

I take my car in for inspection. They are busy, I know I am so busy the only time I will get sleep if I am dead. Loosing lug nuts is one thing, I know to check my lugs after any sort of service by anyone. I lost two lugs in two weeks after my inspection. Okay screw it I will replace the lugs. Great. Good job for me. Then I get married drive six hundred miles in a weekend in car I had for two weeks but is kind of old. 2006 Honda ex, that's honestly is one of the finest cars I drove yet in life. V6 3.0 manual that eats road as fast as you can feed it. Still cherry and hot though because it has been maintained to an extent) after all the bullcrap I been through dropping my daughter 50 miles from home my caliper seizes. So, I stop out of state. I put a new one on, bleed that part of the system n(help of a friend who was thankfully not busy. Knowing I would have to rebleed and replace other calipers because it's a twenty-year-old car almost. Great I got it. The one thing that messed me up. The one thing that messed me up. Whomever put my tires on the last time didn't take the five to ten seconds to make sure my lug nuts were not being cross threaded. If the Lug stud was not cross threaded everything would be gravy right now/ Now I spent an extra 2.5 hours after spending 13+ hours fixing my brake system (including time to find parts at stores) I just spent two and a half hours of time figuring out I can't get my rotor off because my two screws are rusted on without breaking them because some guy could not take 10 seconds out of his busy schedule to make sure the damn lug stud was not cross threaded. I am so angry I am going to have another freaking panic attack.Nothing worse in the world than an air gun who does not have a competent operator behind it. Five to ten seconds is all it takes to make sure a nut is going on a gd bolt. Not rocket science, thank god because that is a wasted rocket.

I waited a few weeks to do this review because my other shop had failed to fix my vehicles right the first time SO MANY TIMES, that I was hesitant to do a review until I knew the repairs were correct. I found these guys and gave them a shot on my son's truck that had multiple issues, one of which my other shop said they fixed (TWICE), but never really did and it cost me hundreds of dollars. These guys really did a nice job and I like them. Trustworthy, fair prices, and they fix the car right the first time. Highly recommended.

My husband found Crouch automotive on social media when he was looking for someone to rebuild his mustang. Boy are we happy that he found them. Great work, excellent customer service, honest work and people. They work fast to get the parts ordered and the work completed to have the vehicle returned. I live in PA and they even offered me a ride home so I didn’t have to sit and wait for the my car to be repaired. However I didn’t mind waiting. We own several cars as a family of seven and no one else will ever work on our vehicles again. Crouch Automotive is the best. Very trust worthy. Can’t thank them enough for all their dedication and hard work.

Great work at a fair price! Our Expedition started smoking and squealing unexpectedly, and had to be towed. Crouch Auto & Diesel was the nearest shop that could service us quickly, so we had it taken there without even checking the reviews. We checked after the fact and were relieved to see how positive they were. I fully agree with the positive comments. They are knowledge, polite, fairly priced, and they seem to genuinely care about their customers. We had the AC condenser, compressor and a few associated items replaced, and now we're happily on the road again (albeit with a slightly thinner wallet). Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

I wanted to thank Amy and the guys in the shop for going out of their way to get my truck fixed under the time constraints. They did a fantastic job and were very understanding and willing to do what had to be done to get the truck back on the road. I always take my wife's Jeep Cherokee to Crouch Automotive for service. I use the jeep for business, so I don't always have the ability to call ahead tomake an appointment. Brian always finds a way to fit me into the schedule.Customer service and fair pricing are both excellent.

My daughter damaged her lower control arm on her ford focus after sliding into a curb during a snow storm. Her boyfriend brought the car to Crouch for an estimate. They wanted to charge almost $1300.00 to repair the car. The quote included the following itemsMoog lower control arm and ball joint assembly $132.00. Price from Pep Boys $71.66Sway bar link $54.76 Price from Pep Boys $16.982 x Inner Tie Rod link $56.52 each Price from Pep Boys $27.95They also claimed that the front brakes were down to 10% and that the front rotors and pads needed to be replaced. They wanted to charge $269.00 parts, tax and labor for a front brake job. They wanted to charge 569.00 for labor and then tack on a $32.00 environmental fee. For what pray tell me. Recycling the metal?I am a mechanic and it is shysters like this that give all mechanics a bad rep.Upon inspection of the damage I found only the control arm needed to be replaced. Brake pads still had approximately 6mm left. No where near the 10% they claimed. For $71.66 and 30 minutes of my time, my daughter's car is back on the road again. Only other thing it needs is an alignment.If I had allowed them to do the work it would have cost them approximately $300 in parts and about 2 hours in labor conservatively. Listen, I understand you guys have overhead but $1000.00...Come on!!!

awesome customer service. fast reliable work. if they do not have what you need they will order and have delivered that day if possible or the next day. they have very good pricing on services and plenty of parking, all entrances are ground level so wheelchairs are no problem.

Highly recommend Crouch Automotive. Brian at the Conowingo location is the best and most knowledgeable service writer I have ever encountered. When another local repair facility did improper work on my truck Brian and his team diagnosed it and advised me that major damage would occur if not fixed correctly right away. He would not charge me for the work done and told me after the other shop fixed it again to bring it back for an inspection. I did and will be using Crouch Automotive for ALL my vehicles from now on as well as referring other people their way. They came in on the weekend and did a major repair on a brake system of a truck we use day in day out, that we cannot afford to have down. We take our vehicles there on a regular basis and are always pleased with everything they do.
