Generally well run, clean, low prices, and great selection. I have had the occasional hiccup here (such as an employee closing the store 15 mins early) and you MUST check the berries before buying as they are prone to mold, but other than that no big complaints. I really wish people would stop stealing the carts, as they always seem to have only a few of the small two-basket carts. Which they'd offer baskets as well. Note that you'll have to bag everything yourself.

The store actually had a nice or should I say reasonable amount of items specifically healthy foods at a affordable price. In comparison to Aldi I think I like this store a bit more. Plus it’s closer to my home thus, convenient.

Nice prices however some of the cashiers are rude to the less fortunate and treat people that use EBT poorly. It would be nice if people could do these transactions privately like in Whole Foods but other than that this is a great store.

The place is usually well stocked and the staff are really great. They have recently eliminated the pretzel buns from their fresh bakery which was disappointing as this was the main item we came here for.The other thing that is extremely bad about this place is that their bathrooms are in a terrible state. I have decided to forgo coming here often mainly due to this issue as I have little children and need access to facilities for them.

Amazing store with suspiciously too good to miss deals!!! Their bakery is such a nice bonus not too crowded but not dead ether!! Really fun addition to the mall!!! Will definitely come back!!

Love this grocery store. Looks very similar to lidl in Europe.Fresh bakery with single bags and gloves. Good weekly deals and sales.Cons: sometimes items on sale aren't on the shelves.

Lidl's in Columbia is my favorite, because they always have a nice selection of plants and very fresh produce but I like the ones in Glen Burnie area as well.

Great store with excellent prices! A welcome addition to the community. I'm so glad that Town Center didn't snub their nose at this low-cost alternative market. Not everyone has the money to shop at the grossly overpriced Whole Foods - and it's nice to have this store in the middle of some of Columbia's choicest and most expensive real estate. Makes me think there's a little bit of Jim Rouse's dream still alive here. People of different economic groups can live together with opportunity.

Lidl Columbia is finally open…A wide range of products and quite reasonable. It was extremely crowded on the opening day and as the isles are a bit narrow, so it was a lil difficult to move around freely.

Very nice clean grocery store. Price are very good on their own brand. Their Bakery place is fresh and taste great. They mainly sell their own brand of items and they do carry other major brands but not enough compared to average local grocery store. This will be one of the places I'll be doing my food shopping.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! SHOPPING CARTS WILL RUIN YOUR CAR!! Be careful where you park! I was doing some light shopping last Saturday and I was the latest victim of the wild LIDL shopping carts! What is most upsetting is that I had witnessed it myself and vowed not to park downwind from the always overflowing shopping cart stall. I am disappointed in myself, but more so in the local LIDL management team and corporate. I immediately called for the manager on duty when it occurred. The “manager” took pictures and my information, he stated I would receive a phone call about the situation on Monday. Monday went by, Tuesday came and went and nothing. On Wednesday, I went to the store to speak with a “manager” and he was less than helpful or empathetic. Call the customer service number he said. Thanks pal! I called three times while in the store shopping and was unsuccessful connecting with a live person. After receiving two messages in German, I was hung up on all three times! Finally, I was able to leave a message. I was not confident I would receive a call, so I called on Thursday and finally spoke with someone. Much to my surprise, the “manager” on duty Saturday around 6 pm on the 23rd never reported anything. I have choice words for the lack of service, but I will refrain. After getting a case number I was told that LIDL’s insurance company will get back to me someday/sometime and that there is no guarantee of an outcome which will repair my vehicle. Basically, I may be left with a damaged vehicle for trying to frequent my local LIDL that always has an overflowing cart corral. I am writing this to warn you, lest you become another victim of the WILD LIDL SHOPPING CARTS and lack of accountability, poor planning and horrible customer service. If I knew saving a few dollars a week was going to cost me a deductible or having to repair my vehicle at my own expense… I would have gone to ALDI or TJ’s. Until this bad experience I had been a big fan of shopping at LIDL, but I struggle supporting a place with horrible customer service. Again, I am sharing in hopes you don’t become part of the the LIDL shopping cart(s) wrecked my car club!**UPDATE**LIDL will not be repairing my damaged car. The manager who saw what happened did not vouch for me. I didn't take pictures of an overflowing buggy coral and they claim cameras caught nothing. I was told to contact my insurance. SMH! I am not going to pay a deductible to repair something they should have assumed responsibility for, because they aren't doing their jobs. Think twice about the 10% -15% you are saving in groceries and is it going to be worth having to pay your deductible or having to pay out of pocket to repair your damaged car. ??

I like the food and prices at Lidl. Unfortunately, this particular Lidl has been disorderly and dingy-looking each of the 5 or 6 times I have visited, for which I dock the store one star as an honest assessment.

A great place for both specialty items and every day groceries. The prices are great, quality is good. I love their seasonal items. If you see something seasonal get it then, next time you come back it likely will be gone. The staff is friendly, store is clean and prices are reasonable... It's a win win when shopping at Lidl!

I like this store a lot. I like the types of groceries sold here, ones with a European slant. I can find a, lot of items here for good prices that I cannot easily find elsewhere. If you are looking for the standard American supermarket then this is not it. The only problem I find is the spread that the checkout people go when scanning your items maybe too fast for many people to pack their bags. Prices here are excellent typically. I wish they would open more checkouts, typically only having two open at any one time.

If you don't mind picking through produce, you'll find good prices. In the aisles, off brands at lower prices..although not much lower(sign of the times). Freezers need defrosting. Not my first choice for a grocery store..

I loved shopping in this store in Germany and I'm so happy to have it here! The bakery is the best! You can't find this kind of bread anywhere else. Apple turnovers, croissants, and all other things are good too! And they always have good produce and good prices on poultry.

Big supermarket than my local one. Affordable quality food at its best. I have been shopping there for more than two decades since I lived in Europe. Its fascinating to find some old foodstuff there. It reminds me of years back so I go there for old time sake and the food quality is good.

My husband and I go here for date nights. We find a lot of amusement in how horribly it's organized and the absurd items you can buy here. They have a variety of food that isn't necessarily in your typical grocery store so the variety is also a treat.

I am a total Lidl fan. The prices are great. There are lots of little surprises that you can pick up and the prices make it worth trying something new. Love the food and got my favorite pajamas there too!

LIDL is a different value-priced grocery store, very European. I mean, great cheeses, German Marzipan, Italian Speck, French Chocolate. Where else can you get an in-store bakery without the premium pricing? Cruise the store with a Pan Au Chocolat and get your weekly shop on!It's a more focused selection of goods and brands which makes the tiring hyper-selection of groceries that much easier for me. It's not 80 different coffees or yogurts, which works for me. In return, they are typically understaffed at checkout, but it's a trade I am willing to make for the value pricing and focused selection.

If you're looking for regular grocery store items, they carry the name brands. I haven't closely examined price differences, but my family does not buy big brand products because they're not healthy.The store seemed messy in the middle where they stock the household goods.We won't be coming back.

The manager at this location refused to help me with me issue and was extremely short and disrespectful to me. Didn’t get his name, but he was a white guy in his late 20s who was wearing glasses, he had sort dark stubbly hair, probably balding. Never had such a bad experience at any of the locations that I’ve been too. Upon talking to others about this issue, some have mentioned they’ve had bad experiences with him before as well. He’s extremely unprofessional and rude to a lot of people apparently . If he hates his job so much, why even work there? He should not be in customer service.

Such a beautiful scenery place to hike.There are so many trails that you could choose for a long relaxing hike without even crossing the river.The only downside is having a very small parking place. But we could manage by parking on the side road, the school nearby or the neighborhood down the street. Or just be on the trail super early!!
