The staff is wonderful. The friendly and comforting feeling that I had leaving my dog for her annual exam. They explained step by step what they were going to do. Afterwards the veterinarian called thoroughly went over the whole exam process and gave results. When I picked her up just the care and comfort the staff showed me and my pet was just awesome. I live very close to another vet hospital but since day 1 over2 years ago I chose Hickory Ridge over Rocky Gorge and would do it again.

This is a fantastic practice. My dogs have been patients here for a few years. Whether it be a routine or emergency visit, I’ve always been treated with respect, professionalism and kindness every time. Dr. Parrish and Dr. Mulford are the best. The techs/assistants and front desk staff are equally amazing. I highly recommend Hickory Ridge!

I was very nervous about choosing a vet for my dog, Bella, but I couldn't be happier that we landed at Hickory Ridge. From the very first appointment, they really took the time to get to know Bella and listen to me. They are very patient with her and try to make it as positive an experience as possible. When we took in our stray cat, Dolphin, it was a no brainer that we would be bringing him to Hickory Ridge as well. They were very patient with us and helped us navigate first time cat ownership. Bella and Dolphin get great care at Hickory Ridge. All of the staff are knowledgable, kind, patient, attentive, and, most importantly, clearly love the animals they are caring for.

I found the whole team at Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital very kind and friendly. I'm sorry I don't know many names yet, but the fact that my first appointment was moved up (by Diane?) instead of cancelled (because of the weather) blew my mind! When I walked in, everybody was so nice to me! And throughout the whole appointment, the kindness continued! From the woman with the long red hair, the vet tech (Kelly?), Dr. Parrish, and Diane (?) checking me out. I appreciated the staff not taking the urine sample I took in the morning in case it gave erroneous results and instead, letting me get a urine sample from my dog during the appointment. I appreciated the way Dr. Parrish answered all my questions! I could tell that she really loves and cares about animals, which is very important to me. It took me a long time to find a new vet, and I'm so glad that I did my research because I am proud to say that Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital is my new vet! I already recommended you guys to my neighbor today! Thank you for caring about animals and their humans!

We had our first visit here with our first pup, and it was wonderful! The techs were so kind and quick to help transcribe notes and provide us with handouts about everything the vet debriefed us on. The vet gave us tons of information on what to expect as new owners and we left feeling well informed. We felt very comfortable with how transparent and responsive everyone was. The whole clinic feels old school because they take the time to get to know you and your pet’s lifestyle before giving any recommendations—making the whole experience feel personable and authentic.

We are first time dog owners so, needless to say, we are so anxious and overprotective of our puppy. Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital has been an absolute dream in every way. They are very responsive over the phone and so so gentle and understanding every time we have to stop in. They definitely keep our minds at ease and our pup is happy and healthy!

I found the staff friendly and knowledgeable. I liked the homey feel of the office. It all seemed to be designed with the pet’s comfort in mind. My new cat really enjoyed the churro treat she got after her blood test. It really helped comfort her.

Dr Mulford is amazingly good with our previously feral cats. They aren’t easy. She was able to figure the cause of a difficult problem for one of them and also recommend appropriate treatment options in a useful way. Great crateside manner too.

Dr Mulford is Susu's vets since he was a puppy. She is always very thorough, thoughtful, compassionate and never try to push anything, listen to our concern and try to give a feedback on what we might missed in our decision. All of the nurses also very patience, I can't mentioned one by one but all of them are very caring and took care of Susu even though sometimes Susu got rough and wayy to excited about his visit😂 thank you so much!

It is a very charming place. My baby husky and I especially liked the little walkway outside with the benches. We waited there for our turn.I’d like to thank and recognize everyone whom we came into contact that day. I’m sorry if I get spelling or any names wrong.The front desk girl Tori (sp?) was absolutely super, she checked us in and welcomed us warmly. A really big thank you to her for following through and making sure the necessary paperwork and records were received to you guys from her prior Vet and ER animal hospitals. She was outstanding. We knew how busy she was, but she still took the time and was diligent to make sure everything was handled properly, including checking us out and letting us know about future upcoming appointments.Thank you to Diane (sp?) and her amazing handling of Sophie and knowing that there were influenza shots on the rdy and communicating that on the fly to Kecia. She was incredibly patient with a baby husky puppy and knowledgeable. Thank you.Of course a big thank you to Kecia. We learned SO much from her in just one short visit.Overall, thank you to everyone there. Everyone there was kind, professional, knowledgeable, informative, helpful, hospitable, and gracious. It made for a really lovely experience.There was also another female assistant whom we briefly met that was very kind and loving to Sophie but unfortunately I did not get her name. Thank you to her as well.We really had a wonderful experience. From the charming cozy setting, to the amount of things I was able to learn from Kecia and everyone there.I learned more in one short visit that day, than I did going to our prior vet for months and months since I got Sophie in March! Wow! The information and people we met, were invaluable..were priceless.We look forward to our future vet visits at Hickory Ridge! Thank you to everyone for all you do for us. So very attentive to owner. They are careful about the animal health in that they do not over medicate nor over treat. They realize the body knows best. Still they are very careful about external causes of illness. I have an older animal. They go with the flow, and let him lead to what is comfortable for him.

Honestly we loved our last vet, but we had a fantastic experience here.To start, we were shocked when we were asked where the best place was to work with the dogs. No one ever asked that…it was always up on the table which needed up being elevated. For our male, a lower table worked and for our female the floor worked best and made the visit so much better for them both. Dr. Parrish spent about an hour with us going over plans to get their vaccinations closer together to eliminate visits and make it easier. She also took the time to ask about their social life among a few other things. The vet tech (sorry I’m blanking on her name) was also amazing. She was so welcoming with the dogs and sat on the floor with our female to comfort her. We were nervous going to a new vet, but this was an amazing experience and we’re thrilled we waited to get into Hickory Ridge.

(Dec 2022) Our experience with vet tech Sierra and Dr. Mustafa (unsure of the spelling, sorry) was very pleasant. Even though we were the last appointment for the day and arrived 10 minutes late, we weren't rushed. Our cat's exam was done thoroughly and we all left feeling well cared for.(Dec 2023) The entire staff is friendly, and professional. Communication is great, and they seemed to care for my pet as if he was their own. Very pleased.

We all love Hickory Ridge Animal Hospital!!! They have been taking care of our small fur babies for over 12 years. Charlie and Leo (our cats) love visiting them. They purr the whole time. We also have two dogs and they are both nervous when they visit…and that makes me nervous…because I’m their mom! Dr. Parish is so calm and patient with them (and me). They staff and vet techs are also really kind and understanding. My whole family highly recommends them!

It was obvious that the doctors and the staff loved animals. I’d like to thank both Dr. Milford and Dom got their care of my two chihuahuas. One of them doesn’t particularly like strangers, period. Dr. Mustafa and all the employees at Hickory Ridge are very kind and helpful. I started visiting them with my recently adopted senior dog and they have been very considerate with all of our concerns. They really care about my dog and I always trust that they're doing their best for her care.
