EDITED: this store acknowledged the site sucks, and also had workers from different stores show up near lunch time. once the extra help arrived I was able to get through to someone and the travel workers assistance was much appreciated!1 star simply because the pharmacy phone line is non existent here.call 1 today: I need to update my insurance. this is a regular occurrence I never try to call normally bc I've experienced this 13+ times now;call 1 today: 27 minutes 3x hold pls answer immediately back to hold music, proceeded by being hung up on.call 2: same but took 39 min before hangupcall 3: 12 minutes 2 hold pleases then hangupfinally gave up and am calling corporate.

Thought I would leave a review while on hold. I need to speak to someone in the pharmacy. Been on hold so far for 25 plus minutes. They keep picking up the phone for a second and then putting me back on hold. Over and over and over again. They can't be that busy.

I made a vaccine appointment 32 weeks pregnant for my TDAP vaccine and they sent multiple confirmations, even the day of and I get there and they tell me they have no vaccines. Drove 45 minutes for this appointment. Will never be back to this pharmacy. Super unprofessional.

Pharmacy is horrible. Staff is rude and acts like they don't even want to be working there. I hate going to it. I call and I wait for hours sometimes and they will gang up on you. Never have my medicine in stock that I been taking for years and still have to call 3 days before my refill to make sure they have it within 3 days.Sick of this pharmacy.

I have never had a good experience at this pharmacy, and I'm sad to have to say it. I feel like they are understaffed. Recently called about a shipment from FedEx which is now using them as a 'hold for pick-up' location since FedEx can't seem to ever reach my home in time with Priority Overnight, perishable packages. I spoke to a very pleasant woman to confirm they could accept my package, which contained biological, very perishable and expensive goods, and she said yes. The package was turned away when it arrived there the next day without reason, and was no good by the time it make it back to FedEx. Now I'm out over $3,000 and FedEx won't pay the claim. I'm done with both companies!

I have never had so many repeat interactions with a business be so bad. This is the most convenient pharmacy for my family, near work and childcare, and I have TRIED to make it work. But... but. They are so rude. No one can be bothered to walk over or speak to you from the back. They have repeatedly hung up the phone after I've been on hold for 20 or 30+ minutes. Just pick it up, talk to someone else in the background, then slam down the receiver without speaking. Also, they have a "please don't be rude" sign at the counter, when I finally went in. There's a spelling error. I mentioned that, and the reply was, "Well I didn't type it." I see why they need the sign. Maybe they should try reading it, too. It's easily the most convenient place, but I'll happily go out of my way to avoid ever speaking to anyone in that building again. The pharmacist at Wegmans is DELIGHTFUL, in case anyone else is looking to switch.

I called in a prescription the day before I needed it, I’ve picked up this same prescription twice now and never had any problems. One of the pharmacist told me that they were having issues with filling prescriptions over the phone so mine was never called in. She sent me to a different location 3 miles away and told me they had the prescription I needed. I went and the pharmacist there said they should’ve called before I arrived because they didn’t have what I needed, and I wasted my time and gas. I went home and called the pharmacy at 1:00, was on hold for 30 minutes and as soon as it hit 1:30 (their break time) I was hung up on. Biggest waste of my time.

I called Monday about a prescription I needed by Thursday. I was told they didn’t have it but they would put it in a special order and it would be in Wednesday. Turns out it’s on back order til the end of the month and they can’t fulfill it. If I had known that Monday I would have started calling around earlier. Beyond frustrating and SO stressful.Also sat on hold for 20 minutes and got hung up on before talking to anyone.

So understaffed. Drive-through is never open. I can rarely get anyone to speak to on the phone. My monthly Rx was routinely out of stock and they wouldn’t notify me. The woman working there told me to try another pharmacy, so I took her up on it. I switched to the Wegmans up the street.

I've never had a problem with the pharmacy here. I was there a LOT because my daughter had asthma and a host of other allergies. They always recognized me for the exhausted, coming from the doctor, desperate to make my kid feel better momma that I was and did whatever they could to fill her prescriptions quickly. They are clearly over-worked and understaffed. I certainly give them the benefit of the doubt whenever I can and appreciate the advice for where to get meds when they are out.

Asked a worker if they sold fresh cut flowers. She had a attitude and told me "no, this is a pharmacy" I informed her other pharmacys sell flowers. Even dollar general sells flowers. That's fine they don't sell them, but I didn't need the attitude about it.

Pharmacists at this location lie about their prescription being in stock, completely wasting your time and money. Wasted 2 weeks and 2 trips waiting for a script that’s having an alleged shortage that they fail to disclose. Very poor customer service, so don’t even bother explaining your situation. I’d rather fly on Spirit airlines than deal with those pharmacists in Cockeysville again. Wish there was something below 1 star rating

An astonishingly bad pharmacy. Half the time the drive thru is closed so you're forced to go inside just to be told your prescriptions were received days ago but are on back order and there's no estimated time to fill. Atrociously operated. They frequently hang up on customers who have been waiting for half an hour, and that's if they ever pick up the phone. Transfer your prescriptions to literally anywhere else and you'll get a markedly better experience.

Having an asthma attack and needed medication. The drive through is closed AGAIN and I CANNOT walk in because of the stinky cinnamon brooms that I am ALSO ALLERGIC TO. Horrible service.

Was first in the line after lunch break to pick up, was told they had nothing for me, nothing sent from my doctor. Had to step away and call my doctor, who confirmed with me they had sent it in the day prior, and the pharmacy had approved it. At that point the line was going down the isle. Got back in line. When finally my turn, told them my doctors office said cvs had confirmed the prescription. Was told again, they have nothing from them and the doctors office should call it in. Stepped away again, called my doctor and told them to please call it in because they are saying they have nothing from them. Got back in the line which is again going down the isle. I got up to third in line, my doctors office calls me back, tells me they called (which cvs JUST TOLD ME TO HAVE THEM DO) and the receptionist says she’s been on hold with cvs for over 15 mins, no picked up, so she sent it via the computer once again, and it was once again approved by cvs. It was finally my turn again for the third time, by this time I had been in cvs for 54 minutes. They tell me they are out of stock of the medication. DO NOT GO HERE

My dog is NOT the cat. Pharmacist typed name the cat. Wait a minute. They could see the history in the past that NEVER call the cat. If they notice something strange, they could contact vet or me to clarify on the name of pet. I would not give it to my dog due to incorrect label and "the cat".

Pharmacy used to be great, now it’s awful! It is slower than the MVA! They do not stay on top of their electronic prescriptions, several times I have had to wait for them to fill my prescription after getting a text saying it was ready, and when I tried to call them to let them know I’m supposed to get a refill on my prescription, I KID YOU NOT I WAS ON HOLD FOR OVER A HOUR!!! And if that isn’t bad enough, their drive thru pharmacy is constantly broken down!!! If you are considering this location for your pharmacy, reconsider unless you want to waste you time and go days without a prescription you need!

I have used several other pharmacies over the years and had many many negative experiences, but no issues at all since I switched to the Cockeysville Walgreens. I LOVE this pharmacy! The staff is always extremely helpful and professional and the pharmacists fill my prescriptions so quickly, I never wait long at all.

Pharmacist is absolutely awful.He is argumentative, not helpful, and rude.Lost my prescription for my depression, was quick to tell me my insurance doesn’t cover it and I would need to pay out of pocket.After going back and forth he gave me one emergency pill that he threw in a pill bottle which his demeanor was extremely uncalled for and unprofessional.I call my insurance company today and they sure do cover early refills. I call the pharmacist back so I can get my prescription filled and he argues with me, laughs in my face, and said “he will try to call to verify”This is my depression medication.This is not something I can go without.Save your time and go somewhere else like I will be doing.

Terrible service by one employee at the pharmacy on repeated basis. She obviously is a nervous person who has no people skills. Why they keep rude, apathetic, creepy people who must deal with the public is a very good question. This is the best you have, Walgreens? If I didn’t have to pick up a prescription every so often, I would never go back. In fact, I may just choose a different pharmacy to avoid unwelcoming, scathing glances and poor service going forward. Get rid of her- you know who she is!

I recently called to inquire a backordered supply of my medication to see when it was expected and to check availability at another Walgreens and was hung up on mid sentence after the first attempt. Called back and the same pharmacy associate answered the phone. I asked to speak to a pharmacy manager and was told they were too busy and she couldn’t check availability at other stores. This isn’t the first bad experience I’ve had with the pharmacy at this location. If your employees are too busy to do their job as needed, you probably need to add more employees. The current ones need training in customer service and manners. I’m not one to write reviews but I found this experience very upsetting and I hope that this reaches higher levels of management so this doesn’t keep happening.

They don't answer the phone when you call, they don't come to the window. They're rude and have no concept of customer service. They're so bad, they have a sign posted that they do not tolerate rude or abusive behavior. Why would a pharmacy post a sign like this? I assume because many people are frustrated surg them. Bring back Hunt Valley pharmacy!

Literally the worst Walgreens you can go to. You can never get your prescription refilled without multiple calls. I’m currently on hold with them after being disconnected 6 times and the manager on duty said it’s an issue with their phones and corporate hasn’t been able to fix it. Save yourself the repeat monthly headache and drive the extra mile to any other pharmacy besides this one.

I went into this store for a COVID booster two days ago. I was told I needed to make an appointment. I pointed out there was no one in the waiting area waiting for a shot. The clerk said there is a vaccine shortage. Drove to a nearby Giant Pharmacy and got my booster shot as a walk-in. So much for a shortage. Guess it's time to switch pharmacies. This store has gone downhill since it first opened.

The staff is usually very friendly... But the pharmacy ALWAYS takes forever to help you. Most recently, there was ONE person assisting customers, and after waiting in line for 15 minutes, I poked my head back and yelled "Excuse me?" and there were several pharmacy employees having personal conversations, and after being ignored, I just left, and returned at opening the next day. That seems to be the only way to avoid an outrageous wait for assistance.

When this Walgreens was first built, it was the best pharmacy. Now I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU USE THIS PHARMACY! The customer service is terrible, they make their own rules and every time I call I get hung up on. What kind of service is that? I will be switching pharmacies!

I had THE most wonderful experience here. I’m pretty apprehensive to ask for assistance when I shop because I never want to be a bother AND honestly: good customer service is hard to come by. I was absolutely elated when a lovely employee here named Laura noticed I needed help and went absolutely out of her way to assist me. She went the extra mile and found me the item I was looking for (and it’s an item that is pretty popular and hard to locate these days.) She is an angel and she deserves all good things. I am so appreciative of her and the service I received in a world when it’s beyond rare. Thank you SO much, Laura. :)

Thankfully this location is shutting down… I don’t know how it lasted this long!! Not only is there only one person ever working there, but she has no idea what she is doing, and is tremendously slow. I went to get a passport photo done, the women used her cell phone to take my picture!! Completely inappropriate and definitely not allowed. One would get in alot of trouble for this. The picture that she then printed for me was so grainy and pixilated that I tossed them. So long Walgreens!

Went on three different occasions to pick up the same prescription. After waiting in line over 20 min left. Had to stand in line this time because out of meds. After 20 min again the girl asked for help and a manager came out. Where was this manager when the line was 8 people deep?
