This place is supposed to close at 10pm, yet I was denied entry at 9:55PM when I was simply attempting to purchase firewood. When I told them I needed it to stay warm through the night, I was told “too bad”. I watched people walk out 12 minutes later. Did I mention I shop here every week for years? Not anymore. Avoid this place if you can.

I was in there on the 24th December at 4:16 for my checkout. Two employees started cussing and yelling at each other, then one ran up the stairs and the other ran after the first trying to physically fight the other. It was awful for that to happen, awful to see and I am ultimately disappointed in that store. I will likely not shop that store. I tried to go on the website for the chain about this and I can't even get through the 50 or more get a free this and that from other stores. This chain will likely never see my business again because of the fight and then the inability to log a complaint via my receipt.

I hate shopping here inside. Only one cashier ever backed up with three or four people, while self checkout has a 20 item limit and terribly impatient machines. Today I saw three employees just chilling behind the registers chatting while all this is going on. Pickup only from now on.

Rented me a broken Rug Dr. , waisted time, energy, gasoline, and half of a $40 gallon of Natures Miracle. My back is killing me and I've gotten nothing accomplished not to mention they couldn't help me with any of that. UPDATE, the machine I was given in exchange dumped soap all over my carpet today and I'm not sure I want to get a third machine

Went in for sushi, there was no soy sauce or ginger. Asked around and none available. Got the salad, doesn't come with dressing😩😩🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. Correction, dressing was all the way at the bottom of salad. So I had to dig it out with my fingers. Yum

I bought some meat that had definitely sat unrefrigerated, spoiled, and were restocked. My apartment and car stunk to high heaven for a day or two. That said, I was taken at my word and was refunded without issue.

Not well stocked. Small selection of sale meat usually. Really bad/slow/disinterested cashiers who always make mistakes and take forever.For how many rich people live in this zip code I'm surprised what a mediocre store it is

It serves its purpose for me. It's right down the street from work and when ever I need odds and ends it's a perfect place to stop and get just what I need. Plus they take Good RX so I can get my prescriptions there and get my odds and ends at the same time. The fruit and veggies are always fresher than the other stores I shop. The best grocery store around overall with great employees that are personable and super friendly plus you save money here compared to going to super busy Wegmans that has continued to raise prices on many items. This is my go to daily store. Their bakery and meats and just everything is amazing plus fresh. The organization here is great!!

Great store. I like shopping here before work. It's not busy. The employees are helpful and friendly. The store is very clean and orderly. You can find what you need easily.Also, going at lunch time is not too busy.

Love this store. This is our local grocery store. Manager is super friendly and the staff are personable and courteous. The employees in the deli are patient and very kind. One of the pharmacy technicians was very rude and short with me today. It's only because I love the rest of the staff, that I will continue to shop there.

This store is awesome... Very clean friendly staff, the meat department is one of the best I have ever seen and the meat department manager is so knowledgeable and accommodating... I will definitely travel a few extra miles to shop here.

Great store overall but the last few times we have bought store baked bread it has immediately gone moldy. Last week we purchased a ciabatta loaf that went moldy the next day. Yesterday the rolls were moldy when purchased, which we did not realize until we got home. Very disappointed in the store baked bread. Even the bread we bake at home lasts longer.

After we arrived our groceries were brought out in less than 5 min. By a super nice young lady who carefully packed them in the car. Most of my order was there say 1 or 2 items out of stock and a couple of substitutions. Anyone looking for a fast hassle free grocery pick up should consider Giant. I am a recent pick up customer with only a few grocery pick ups so far, but so far so good.

This is the best Giant in the Baltimore Metropolitan area in my opinion. It has fantastic variety in the store when it comes to food, drinks and even toiletry items. Food is always fresh here from the hot bar to cold items. Bakery is exceptional here. I am blown away by how big and clean this store is. The PNC inside the store is also fantastic. Even though its far from where I live, I take a Uber here just to shop here because it's that good.

Clean, great staff. I love the smaller size of this store...easy to find what I need and staff are always happy to help. The manager Kathy is very friendly and is always on the floor. Customers are also more pleasant than the cart-rammers at Wegman’s. Prices are fine.

This Giant is a little smaller than the others, but there still an ok selection. I like using the gun to bag my own groceries as I shop.

This was my first visit to Giant Hunt Valley ... or any other food store since December 2020. I found all of the items I wanted. The store did not have any insulated shopping bags for cold goods. No line at checkout and workers were friendly and efficient as always in Giant of Landover stores for the past 50 years.

I go here because it's not chock full of frantic people like the Wegmans across the street. My only real complaint here is the onions. I'd say if you want onions go elsewhere, but otherwise the experience is good enough for me to shop here as my primary grocer.

Clean, well lit and organized store with fair prices. Selection is good and there is always a lot on sale. Sales can be confusing, however, do you always need to read the fine print so that you actually get the price you see posted. The bakery is underrated here. Shawan liquors is nearby, so if you want adult beverages to go with your food, it's a good option in the same complex.

This Giant is better than most Giant super markets, better as measured in the availability of common products that oftentimes run out of stock elsewhere. Not exactly sure why, possibly because the population density around this location is quite sparse, leading to remaining stock, and or this store seems bigger and has more shelf space. In addition to that, there seems to exist an expanded product line as compared to counterpart

Shopped here for years , couldn't ask for a better store or better service until today . Today Kayla should not have been working in customer service . In my experience with giant customer service the cashier has always explained what they are going to do to correct the problem , seniors need that. Kayla did not do this in fact she wasn't listening at all and by the time everything was over I was very confused . I know these are trying times and we are all under a lot of stress . Just remember it is called customer service for a reason. I still love this store .

July 15th, 3:50pm. I enter the large Giant supermarket not knowing what I was looking for. I was feeling sour, maybe from walking out on Susie at Chick-fil-A or maybe it was the frosted lemonade. They always say "my pleasure" but is it really?...never the less I found myself in the sparking beverages and liquids aisle. Perhaps I was trying to wash away the guilt I felt or maybe it was just the frosted lemonade. I bought a whole case of deer park water, the only thing dear I had left, for only 4.95$. I didn't know what I was looking for when I came in, however now I have one big thing that is clear. Thanks Giant
