Ghetto!!!! One cashier and long line just for them to tell me that I cannot pay for the balloons and I need to get them then get back in line. The lady helping with the balloons was too worried about talking about whose coming in so I had to just wait. This is the worst dollar store ever!

1st visit to this location. Kind of shocked at the condition of the store. It was trashed - could barely get through the aisles due to rolling racks of new merchandise EVERYWHERE, but many of the shelves were bare. Saw one employee and she was attempting to ring up a long line of people. I gave up, put the items I could find back and left with nothing.It was almost bizarre just how bad the condition of this store was.

Store is never opened and when opened its always so many boxes and trash in aisle no room to walk. Maybe they should close location because its always closed for not having any staff.

Like most places they’re understaffed but my experience has always been pleasant. I’m not a professional dollar general shopper. Idk how to penny shop or know the sticker meanings but if you are willing to look I’d bet you could find a nice bargain here. I like to get toiletries and medicine cabinet stock here at a bargain price.The gentleman during the day is always kind and helpful. Very personable all while typically being the only employee. Be patient and nice to the ones who showed up folks.

I love the employees there great. I come to this store often but on August 25. Which is two days ago I brought some milk the date says it's good but after drinking some I actually got instantly sick and tried to contact the store the day of and yesterday and today. I have not had the chance to go in person because I had important things to do. But I will be returning the milk in person as soon as I can. I don't want that to happen to anyone else. I drink and love whole milk I never been sick or vomited from drinking whole milk. Especially That's supposed to have a good date. If it's been left out it shouldn't be sold it's been hot that's not fair to whomever is spending their money to purchase something that supposed to be good and get sick. that's not fair that no one has answer the phone. i tried calling 3days in a row... That's all I have to say..

The two young men working today, 7/4/2022, are every manager's dream employee! Living in this neighborhood for 4 years I have seen many many people coming go from that store. But one thing has always remained the same. Customer service has been desperately lacking up until recently. I am so thankful to be greeted by such polite and kind young men that make me feel welcome and valued as a customer.

Has to be the worst dollar general in the area. Cashier tonight cussed at me after I left because she had to wait on me and I used a card and not paying cash. I should have used self checkout she huffed. Every single time I come in this store it's a mess. Long lines. Worthless employees. This most recent round of employees lately have been so bad and rude. Absolutely stay away from this store. I don't even trust the food on the shelves with these kind of people working there. Please, please, please management get involved here to save this store. Absolutely the worst experience day in and day out.

Destiny has zero customer service skills. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. She could not figure out how to process a refund and said she had to get a manager. I very graciously allowed her to take several customers first. She goes to get him, comes back and said he will be up in a minute and continued taking more customers. After 10 minutes total I said should I go get him? She said WHAT! I said I'm not upset with you but I'm am starting to feel frustrated.Should I go get him? She said No. You can sit there and wait. 😲Obviously I did not appreciate that and she proceeded to laugh at me. Told me I can leave. Added a sarcastic bye! That's just the tip of the iceberg. This store is filthy and getto and they would rather laugh in your face than do their job.

This isn’t my normal store I visit. I stopped at this store on my way home from work. I first came in and was not greeted. I started looking for the items on my list and saw that the aisles were full of carts with items in boxes that still needed to be put away. I had to move those out of the way to find what I needed. I asked the manager (I believe her name was Amber/Ashley) to help me find some things. She did help me find some items but she told me that this store was weird and she just transferred there and didn’t like the lay out of the store. I didn’t like that she was bad mouthing her new store. I found most of my items and started to head to the check out line. Only one cashier open and the line was very long. I finally got to the front and Heather began to ring me up. I handed her my two paper coupons and she wasn’t trying to take them. She said the one Nivea coupon wasn’t scanning (it finally did) and she forgot to scan my second coupon for Shea Moisture. She called the manager over to try and figure out why my total was higher than expected. I said she didn’t scan my coupon and she tried to tell me she did. I had an extra coupon to show the manager what I was trying to get. The manager wouldn’t allow it because she said it was for hair products. I told her the coupon says for ANY Shea Moister product. She would not manually override the coupon. Heather, the cashier, then proceeded to whisper under her breath that “this was ridiculous”. Needless to say, I left the store empty handed and without my paper coupons. I would be calling corporate but their office number doesn’t work and the customer service department isn’t open on weekends.

This store is terrible! Every other day they’re closed randomly mid shift for restocking. Now they decided to close for four days straight ! Like just shut it down and put something else here .

Don’t bother ordering curbside. Had a 3-4 pm window. Everything was in stock on the website. Never got a notice that the order was done, so just went to the store at 4:20 and the checkout girl had clearly forgotten to do my order. She slapped it together in between waiting on other people and handed me one bag. When I asked where the rest of my order was, she said, “Oh those items were sold out.” Well they wouldn’t have been if you filled them in the morning when I placed my order! Incompetence and laziness at its finest.

This is the third time I've been to his Dollar General every time I come I get good service. They always wants to know if they can help me find things in the store checkout experience is always nice. Liz the manager of the store always ask me to come back.

Neatly organized and maintained store. The staff here are friendly, polite and helpful; they also help you find stuff incase you haven't been able to find it. However, the seasonal decor sections and the section with women's clothing, accessories , shoes is too filled up almost every time. It would be easier to shop, if they were organized in a better manner.

Please teach employees to wear their masks properly. ALL employees had their masks under their nose. One was coughing and sneezing complaining about being sick! I understand having to work to support yourself/family but no one should be in while that sick. For everyone's health, including the sick employee. Please please please wear your mask properly.

My fiance and I went to return some unopened medication here because we had bought 3, tried 1 and realized this was not something that would work. Given, during a return as long as the merchandise is clearly unused I dont believe there should be some kind of interrogation. I am in a gay interracial relationship and it was my fiance who went to the counter to make the return. An overweight white gentleman with curly brown hair and glasses greeted her as she explained she was returning the two unopened pill bottles. Instead of listening to her speak he was busily inspecting the bottles trying to find where they had been opened. Keep in mind people, she already said they weren't open and was ignored. After a minute or so she explained again she had just opened the one left that at home and brought the other two in WITH THE RECIEPT to return. When he was finally satisfied he processed the return but he apparently wasnt done being difficult. He then asked where the card was so he could refund us. We didnt have it and he was like well I need the card to refund it. I walked up to the counter and said, it's a debit card purchase, cant we get cash back? Suddenly he knew how to do his job and gave us cash back. I can honestly say I am disgusted with his behavior and REFUSE to ever step foot in that store again. I'm aware people need to be cautious of those who will try to cheat the system but 2 unopened bottles returned with the reciept paid for with a debit card should not take 10mins to return. Like damn, $6 worth of merch and you putting us through the most? For what sir? For, what?

I go to Dollar stores to get inexpensive birthday cards. In this particular store the card selection was not very big and the arrangement of cards was very confusing. There are different price levels for each card and they were mixed together and making it very difficult to tell one from the other. Also the variety of cards was much less than other dollar stores.

I went to this Dollar General in Cockeysville, Md on the first day of the sale, the cashier did not know about the weekly sale items, whether they had any the items and basically I feel he didn't care. The one positive thing that the cashier did do was point me in the direction of another Dollar General that was on point. The Dollar General in Cockeysville is not stocked well, the items are not presented tastefully and one of the associates wasn't helpful at all. There are some Associates who do try to help but that does not negate the fact that the store is not presentable.

I have been going to this Dollar General for 4 years and never experienced what I did this evening. The cashier was on her personal phone having a conversation I walked to the register she never acknowledged me, never greeted me she rung up my items never said anything never told me my total, I had to look at the screen, then she put my stuff in the bag I had to turn the the wheel to get my bag. So I walked to another employee and asked for the Manager and she tells me the lady up the front is the Assistant Manager, she was the one that rung me up?????

This is a great Dollar General. It is clean and neat. The cashiers are friendly and the stock is on the shelves very neat . I buy all the cards here to save money.

This staff at this store is so much better than the Perry hall one. The Perry hall female cashiers are usually so rude so I go out of my way to come to this one just because it’s just a better all around shopping experience.

Best store to go if you want to find name brand stuff for cheap it also off brand stuff for cheap end is near of the shopping center right across from apartment complex if you plan on moving in at Cockeysville area very nice area not that cheap though and if you have laundry to do York Road right down the street and as a subfield right off of York Road pretty convenient area also take me to Interstate 83 North and South

I've had the worst experience of my life in this store, The store mngr Amber is very very rude, she yelled at my kids and we were litterly thrown out of the store, i was a regular customer till today but not any more, bye bye dollar general ( Simply rude n nasty.)

I enjoy shopping at this store. There's never a wait and the employees are pleasant. I just wish they would receive shipments when the store is closed.
