I ordered a smoker to the store and am very happy with my experience. The staff was very friendly and helped take it out to my car and load. It also shipped to the store earlier than expected and was in perfect condition. The store itself was very well stocked and welcoming. Will definitely be back, even from a bit further away!

The store is a perfect local hardware store with prices that match. If you are a female beware of a mature male employee with white/gray hair I think named Chris he verbally and physically assaulted me while shopping on Saturday morning.

Skip the big box hardware store and go to Kendall Hardware store.Kendall is a great hardware store. It is the store that is part of the community. The staff know their customers, and the family owners know their merchandise.They give great advice and their Husqvarna repair shop is awesome and very reasonable.

It’s great to come to someplace and get up a screw you can’t find somewhere else and somebody actually knows where it’s at and where to find it I can help you find it unlike Home Depot

Like a small home town hardware store, but bigger and nicer. Way better than going to a huge box store. They have everything you need and the employees are all very friendly and helpful. Update: Need my screen door fixed after my puppy ran thru it. Kendall's to the rescue!

Four different employees politely asked me if I needed help within the first 60 seconds.Within about 5 minutes I had seven people ask me if I needed help. It was a sunny Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m, and Google indicated that it was a little busier than usual at the time I was there. But there was no wait at the cashier and the employees greatly outnumbered the shoppers. Admittedly they probably charge about 10% more on some things than you can get at the big box stores. But I was happy to put down my $55 on various items. I felt like I was back in the 1940s with customer service the only thing that mattered. Steve Kendall even give me a hand with my purchase. Is there any place in America still like this??

I absolutely love Kendall Hardware store. They are convenient to my home and have almost everything imaginable you would need for all your home projects and Gardening. They even periodically have vegetables seedlings and I can't wait to see what surprises I will find this year 2023 growing season 😊🌱🌿🍃💚

I had purchased a Husqvarna chainsaw from another vendor. Wasn’t working properly. I purchased warranty but they would not fix. I contacted Husqvarna and they gave me Kendall’s Hardware info. They checked the saw, determined it w could not be fixed and I received a new saw within 2 weeks. It was fueled, filled with chain oil and ready to go. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Thanks!

I never thought I'd say this about a hardware store, but I truly enjoy going to Kendall's. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and helpful. It's what a small town hardware store should be like, even though this is hardly a small town. They carry everything I need and want from a hardware store. Sure, you have to go to a big box hardware place to have a hundred dishwashers or fridges to choose from, but how often do you need that?

I was not impressed with their level of customer service. PRO: They answer their phone right away, CON: The owner, Steve, to whom they refer many questions, is very hard to reach. Messages not returned. CON: I was having screening material replaced. I asked about replacing the clips that hold the window in place, he said "it'll be like new." When I p/u the screens, they replaced the clips that had broken but left the original 40-yr-old clips in if they weren't broken. I also had screening replaced on a sliding patio door. The door "slides" on two cheap plastic rollers. One was broken, causing the door to get stuck sometimes. He left that broken roller in, so I had to still go to HD to buy the $6 replacement wheel. We'd never talked about replacing that wheel, so it's not like he fumbled the ball. But for what I paid ($271 to have 8 screens replaced) I definitely would have been positively impressed if I got back those screens and they actually looked new like he said. Seems he could've said, "Hey, I noticed the roller wheel is broke. I can replace it while it's here for only $X extra." I'm not complaining about the price. In fact, I'm thinking the total cost for this project seemed reasonable and would be a PRO in my review. My point is if he'd gone that extra mile I wouldn't have cared about the price and he would have gone a long way toward keeping me as a lifelong customer. The opporrunity to make a good first impression is fleeting. PRO: the job was completed when they said it would be (2 weeks). CON: I struggled to go back and forth to my car three times carrying the screens with one hand in a cast. Would've been nice if someone offered to help. Only 2 customers in the store at the time. Several employees.

Kendall's is a great neighborhood hardware store. They may not always have all the fittings or special parts. What they do have is a very good selection, some other great household items, and even some gift ideas. They seem to employ local young people as well as some people that have been there for years. I have not always found what I am specifically looking for but have always had helpful suggestions and great service.

Well equipped, locally owned and operated. Prices are competitive, but the main reason I love it is that they have every little part, fastener, and gadget I need, even if I can't exactly describe it; they've rescued many a weekend project.They are a great supporter of the community too, employing teens in summer, hosting farmers markets and local fare.
