This place never has anything in stock. Something as simple as allergy meds. Always texting that my medication is ready and then go there and they have no clue. Clueless pharmacy. Anywhere else would be better.

I am grateful for the Giant Pharmacy in Clarksville, MD. My wife and I live nearby, and we shop in the Giant and fill all of our prescriptions there. The staff are always helpful, and our prescriptions are always available for pick up very soon after the prescription is sent. The staff, on numerous occasions, have “gone the extra mile” to assist us when issues like drug availability arise. We get all of our vaccinations at this pharmacy and these events have always been good experiences, with minimal wait time and shots administered by kind and caring individuals. I will mention the exceptional service by one individual. It seems that Maryjean is usually working the register when my wife or I pick up prescriptions at this pharmacy. We both appreciate Maryjean’s unfailing good humor and her calm professionalism. She always has the patient’s best interests in mind and has helped us resolve the occasional issues, often outside of the pharmacy's control, that can come up between insurance, supply chain and prescriber. To summarize, we’re grateful that the Giant Pharmacy in Clarksville is our pharmacy because the staff has served us so well for the 20+ years that we’ve been filling our prescriptions there. Recently, when you call them, they can be very rude. If you have the means, better off going somewhere else where they treat you with respect.

Without a doubt the most incompetent pharmacy.I was sitting with my doctor when he called pharmacy and left the message for my prescription. The staff proceeded to tell me he had the wrong number. I recited the pharmacy number from memory and said "is that yours?" Pharmacist said "yes, but we don't have anything on file."So the apathetic staff decided to check their messages and found the prescription and told me it would be a 30 minute wait after their mistake.Prescription was 1 pill by mouth x 2 daily for 10 days.Prescription was put in at 9:27am and I went to pick it up at 10:48. If you want your medicine in a timely manner without waiting forever, I would go elsewhere.It seems like the staff is far worse here over the past 10 years.

I have not had one issue with this Giant other than the renovation inside took forever last year. I switched over to the Giant Pharmacy last year from the Clarksville Walgreens which is horrendous with their Pharmacy with one person handling the counter, filling perscriptions and not to mention the Drive Thru. At the River Hill Giant Pharmacy there is always at least four people working behind the counter, everyone is always professional and everything is always on time, especially with the text notifications. I can't ask for anything else.

This is a terrible pharmacy. They never have my prescriptions ready and I am always treated like scum. There is a completely new staff almost every month so you never see someone who is already familiar with your needs. If you happen to have any controlled substances prescribed to you be prepared to be treated like a drug addict.

Ordered tamiflu. They said they had it and would need an hour. Came back and said they needed another hour. Right when they were closing they said they actually don't have it and would get it to me in two days. I'm not even a pharmacist. But I know this drug is useless outside 48 hours of getting the flu.Seems like poor inventory management and a bit of apathy.

I like this store. I think the staff are professional and prompt. I even get reminders to pick up my medication when the are ready.
