Dr. Greta approaches everything in a very holistic fashion that takes every animal's overall well-being into account. Sometimes it's tough to hear that there's nothing more anyone can do, or that the only options are not genuinely going to improve my pet's welfare, but I can trust Dr. Greta and her team to have my animal's best interest in mind, and that is most important. They are honest about what they can or cannot do in-house or in a timely manner, and ready to recommend other vets or hospitals when necessary. Dr. Greta is also one of the most patient, kind and empathetic people I've met. I'll always recommend CAH when folks are looking for a new vet in this area.

My dog LuLuBelle has been with Dr. Greta for over 15 years. We still remember the first time when we took our dog for an overall check up, which was the 2nd day after we adopted her from an animal shelter. She was about 6-weeks old, and Dr. Greta nicknamed her the little wriggling worm as she was all excited and wouldn't stay still! Ever since then, Dr. Greta has been taking good care of her! The staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful, too! I strongly recommend this hospital !

I have been utilizing Clarksburg Animal Hospital since 2008. My dogs are generally older, senior dogs, one was diabetic, one was blind. I have always had great service and respect to my animals, especially when they come to the end of their lives. Greta and her associates at Clarksburg Animal Hospital understand and respect that I will do all I can to give my dogs a good quality of life and a respectful and painless passing to the Rainbow Bridge. Until we moved away a couple of years ago we had 10 years of care for our Ava. We loved you guys and so did our puppy. She's still alive and crazy at 13 we take care of her Addison issue still but she is doing great. Old and Fat now for a Rottweiler. U would most certainly recommend your team.

Our family was very fortunate to have the same Vet for 35 years. When we learned he was retiring, it was quite a sad day. We were sure we would never find another Vet with such compassion for our pets. Not to mention, the knowledge about all of the diseases, illnesses, syndromes....I could go on and on. Our previous Vet recommended The Clarksburg Animal Hospital, and told us that the Veterinarian who owned that clinic just happened to be a local lady, who was his daughter's best friend, and who had actually worked at his clinic when she became a Vet. We have been using the Clarksburg Animal Hospital for many years now, and feel that same confidence, and friendly atmosphere that we had before. Dr. Greta is a wonderful Vet, and very personable. We had to send our 14 year old Golden Retriever to heaven last year, and she was so wonderful during that very sad time. She sent us such a sweet note afterwards.I would highly recommend the Clarksburg Animal Hospital to anyone. They are the best!

Dr. Greta is the best. She took excellent care of all three of my dogs. I know because of her attentiveness and expert experience she extended each of their lives by years. Her staff is also very professional and caring.Teddy, my chocolate lab, like most chocolates was crazy. He was always crashing into something chasing a tennis ball. She over saw his numerous surgeries, injury recoveries as well as annual check ups. It was during one of these check ups that she was able to diagnose his liver cancer in the very early stages. Update. I am very disappointed that I was charged almost $500 for my dog nails to be trimmed. I expressed concerns that she wouldn't allow the groomers to cut her nails, but the vet said that her nails weren't long anyway, so she would be ok. This facility only trim dog nails during their appointment, but they never trimmed my dog nails because of her anxiety, and the vet didn't want her to associate their facility as a bad place. A few months later, I was concerned that some of her nails had split. I sent a picture to the office and was told that my pup had an infection and needed emergency surgery immediately, and if not addressed, she could lose her paw. I paid for antibiotics, doctor visit, and calming medications, something the vet originally refused to prescribe when I mentioned her anxiety with the groomers and their inability to cut her nails. After I picked her up, I'm told that she didn't have an infection and her nails just needed to be trimmed. Needless to say, I lost my trust in this facility, and my dog has not been back.‐------‐--------------------------------------------------------I'm bringing my fur baby here a month ago, and I have no complaints. Knowledgeable and addresses all questions I have. Never got the feeling that I was being rushed or they didn't care about her.

When we adopted/rescued Bella we wanted the absolute best start for her new life and had heard only good things about Clarksburg Animal Hospital. From the first appointment, wee 8 week old Bella felt comfortable and we felt respected (no one made fun of our crazy "this is our new baby" vibe). From the receptionist to the assistants to Dr. Greta, they conveyed the message that it is all about Bella, that her well-being is all that matters. When Bella had a health issue that brought us to an emergency vet, our follow up with Dr. Greta gave us the relief we needed to hear and feel. Even now, when I'm afraid Bella has gained some Covid poundage, I'm not concerned about how Dr. Greta will respond, because I know that her concern for Bella is always positive.

She is very conscientious about making sure they get the best care all at the same time knowing that we want to be cost-effective and taking care of our animals. I got my rescue pup last year (Dec 2021) and the shelter had a list of vets that would perform free wellness exams for the initial visit. As we cannot come in due to COVID restrictions, the staff and doctor have been attentive and courteous via phone during the after visit review. They also have their own pharmacy which is nice when I need to get more heartworm medication.

Clarksburg Animal Hospital is the best. They have taken care of Sammy Jr, our beloved dog, for the 11 yrs we've had him. Dr. Greta genuinely cares for all of the animals she treats. I've been seeing Dr. Greta for over 20 years and couldn't be happier with the level of care she has provided my dogs over the years. During visits, she and her staff are friendly and attentive and spend the necessary amount of time with me and my pets such that I never feel rushed. I've always been fortunate to find really great Veterinarians, but Dr. Greta is the best ever. She's extremely smart and intuitive – both medically as well as with behavioral and training issues. She loves animals and my pets are always happy to see her. I know they couldn't receive better care. Most importantly, Greta is just a nice person. She’s very sensitive and compassionate, and has been wonderful during the best of times and also the worst of times. I can't recommend her highly enough. I have been with Greta for almost 20 years - since before she opened Clarksburg Animal Hospital. I recommend her every chance I get! :-)

We love Dr. Greta! She is so kind and compassionate toward our dog. When we adopted our dog from the Rescue, they used Clarksburg Animal Hospital. When we first met Dr. Greta and I saw how well she understood the breed and I saw how well she worked with our dog, we knew we would stay with her. There are a number of vets closer to us, but the care our dog receives is so worth the drive! We wouldn't take our dog anywhere else. I think her prices are reasonable and the online pharmacy works well also.

Dr. Greta is amazing. I have been taking my dog Shadow to her since he was a puppy and she has always been incredible with him. She is very thorough with her exam and is calm and patient with him. She answers any questions you have and is extremely supportive of any concerns.
