This one star is generous, but unfortunately zero stars is not an option. A rock chipped my windshield on 5/20 and, through my insurance, I was connected with Safelite and given an appointment for a repair on 5/22. The tech, Bob, came out to my job and "tried to cool my car down" while repairing. The chip failed to be repaired and spread. Bob said that that was the second time it happened today to him and that I would have to get it completely replaced. Due to this, I am now financially responsible for this even though this was not my fault. I was also informed that Bob told the front office at my job that I should have brought it in to the shop to fix the chip. If he knew that prior, why did he attempt to repair it? This company is a complete money grab. Harford County is a small area and I will be letting as many people as I know to not contact this company but instead support a small business with techs that actually know what they are doing.

Easy and great service experience. Scheduled an appointment online; simple and straightforward. Appointment day comes, had my windshield replaced, new windshield wipers put on, my Hyundai recalibrated and everything was done within an hour. Easy check in, easy check out. Thank you to the man at the desk and to the techs. in the shop.

I have used safe lite over the years with many repairs, they sent a tech out and I should have know how he was talking, not to let him do it. Should have went with my gut feelings I had a spot repair in may, I am still angry they left a bubble and an x cut in my glass over 1/2” long, I see it every day. I made an appointment to take to the manager and he had his mind made up before I walked in the door, I had to ask him to come out to my car and look and it, it barely looked and all they want to do is throw up, I signed the waiver. I do not recommend and will never use safelite again.Find another company, safe lite will disappoint you, and they don’t care to reach out and fix their mistakes

Very professional and helpful. Advised me that I did not need to replace my windshield and, instead, cleaned up my windshield to show the repair was not needed. No charge for that. Worked with Tony. Very helpful, courteous, and professional.

I had Safelite replace a windshield due to a crack in January of this year. I’ve had multiple windshields replaced here and most have had no issues. My most recent experience has turned me away from Safelite for good. I was clearing snow/ice off of my windshield this month when I noticed that the molding and cowl along the bottom of the windshield didn’t sit flush and the seal was loose against the windshield causing debris to get into it. We didn’t have much of any winter weather last winter so I never caught it before now. I’ve had no other work done to the car except for general maintenance and the windshield replacement.I had thought there was a warranty on their work and checked their website. It specifically states that any issues must be related to them with in 30 days of noticing it and they warranty their entire repair. I scheduled an appointment and dropped off my car thinking all was well. They kept my car the entire day and only called me 45 minutes before closing to get it now and stated they would not repair the damage.When I asked why they said it was warped and was normal wear and tear and not covered. As you can understand it was a bit of a surprise considering no one else has touched the car and the issue is with molding they had to remove or adjust to replace the windshield. My car is only two and a half years old and I’m not an expert in the field but most cars that are two years old don’t have molding falling off from “wear and tear”. We went back and forth with me trying to get a better explanation and he stonewalled me the entire time saying that it’s not their issue.The best he could say was to take it back to the dealer to get it covered under the manufacturers warranty. I’m in the process of that now but it’s a terrible idea and pushing work off on to someone else. This wasn’t an issue from the factory and is entirely on their workmanship. Let’s hope the manufacturer warranty actually means something compared to Safelite’s. But I wouldn’t be surprised if the manufacturer doesn’t cover it because it’s not their fault, it’s Safelite’s. There’s plenty of other shops in the area and I’ll take any business I have to them now, as should you.I also don’t appreciate that they called me 45 minutes before the end of the day and stated “I had my guys take a look at it earlier” which to me means you waited to call me until end of day so you could push me out the door of an empty shop instead of having a real conversation. A business that offers a lifetime warranty and then pushes the blame on anyone else is not someone you want to work with. I know I won’t.

I went there to replace a sunroof, they explained that they dont have that service. Tony put a temporary wrap on roof and took care of my vehicle as if I was a paying customer. He ensured that they wrap was tight and no moisture would get in my car. Thank you Churchville Safelite !!!!

I was really worried about having my windshield replaced on my 2018 Subaru WRX with 8K miles. It was super cold and snowy so I opted to go to the shop instead of having them come to me as I have in the past. They not only had free coffee and tea for me but they let me come back to see the new glass before installation and see the car while disassembled. The process was explained and all parts were given for my review before install. So far the repair is great. I will gladly go back here if I need further glass repair.

I have to say I am extremely pleased with the service I received at SafeLight. They were extremely responsive and quick with service. They also had a great attitude and seemed to actually enjoy their job. I would highly recommend coming to this location if you need to have a windshield replaced. They did a great job

On 2/26/22 i had the windshields replaced on my 2 vehicles (mobile service). Nathan replaced the truck’s windshield and Cory replaced the Jeep’s windshield. When both vehicles were finished, Nathan came to the door and went over all of the instructions and gave me the keys back. I didn’t think to go outside and make sure everything was ok because i trusted Safelite’s service from experience in the past. The truck was cleaned great but the jeep was full of glass particles. There was glass all over the dashboard, radio, cup holders, and vents. (I took pictures & a video) I was very upset over the fact that i had to clean everything up, not to mention it being dangerous. Nathan provided exceptional customer service from start to finish. Unfortunately from this experience i will not choose this Safelite location again for any future services and it makes me nervous to choose Safelite at all. I completed the after visit survey several days ago and asked for a call about my experience but no one ever called.1/3/23- I decided to give Safelite another chance (crazy, i know). Scheduled for service on 12/31/22. Specifically asked the call center for Cory to not come back and service my vehicle due to the experience I had last time. They said no problem, will make a note on your account. Not only did they send Cory out for my service, who arrived 30 minutes early of their 5 hour service window with no notice, he showed up with the wrong part and said I needed to reschedule my appointment. Needless to say I cancelled it all together and will make sure Safelite never receives business from myself, my family, or friends. Unbelievable.

Safelite uses cheap glass replacement. I had them replace the window on my Range Rover and they replaced it with a cheap $100 window. When I traded it, the dealer said they should not have done that, it was supposed to be replace with the same Range Rover glass. Took my value down.

I scheduled an appointment to have my vehicle's glass repaired, and unfortunately, the experience has left me dissatisfied and concerned about the overall quality of their services. During the repair process, my vehicle sustained additional damage that was not present before the appointment. This has been both inconvenient and distressing for me as a customer. To make matters worse, it has been more than three months since the damage occurred and they keep giving excuses and delays on the repair.

Went to get a chip fixed and they brought me the bill for $1800 4 hrs later. I paid the bill then the manager proceeded to tell me that they broke the glass when they replaced it and that I would have to come back in 2 weeks so that the glass manufacturers warranty would pay for it. I asked how they could charge me when I got the car in worse shape than I brought it in and they said there was nothing he could do. I went out to my car and there's a 6 inch dent in the passenger door. Manager denied it was their fault at first until the guy that did the install confirmed that it wasn't there when he replaced the glass. So now I have a spiderweb window on a car that I can't drive for 2 weeks and a dent in the door and they wouldn't even consider a partial refund. Worst business practices I've ever seen in my 40 6ears of life. There are plenty of glass installers out there folks. Please don't use them.

The glass replacement caused my LKAS to malfuction. It could not be turned off via the two control buttons on the steering wheel. Went for a drive with the main calibration guy and he claimed it was fine. It wasn't. He did not know what the buttons that control the LKAS did. What?! It worked fine to the incompetent tech who had no clue what those button do.. by his own admission. LKAS system broke, best tech presumably knew less than me. Beware: If something happens to the safety system after a glass replacement, don;t expect them to know what to do.

After a rock hit my windshield while driving, I had interactions with four employees at Safelite in Churchville, each of whom was extremely professional and helpful.Within an hour after the incident, I had made a mobile appointment through the Erie Insurance app to get the chip repaired. However, by the time Avery called a couple of days later to confirm the appointment for that morning, the chip had spread out as cracks in three directions. I was able to text a couple of photos to Avery, and without needing to waste any more of my morning waiting, he confirmed my suspicion that the windshield would need to be replaced due to the extent of the damage. Avery then gave me the number of the shop, but before I even had a chance to call, Tony called me to set up an appointment. To my surprise, they were able to get the windshield and schedule me for the following morning. Tim called a short time later to remind me of the appointment... while not strictly necessary in this case, it was still a pleasant interaction.The next day, I arrived for my appointment expecting to sit in the waiting area for two hours or more, but only about a half-hour later, Houser came out to update me on the progress, letting me know that the windshield had been replaced and my vehicle was now waiting to go in to the calibration bay. I appreciated that courtesy and communication, and it showed that the folks at Safelite value my time. Just as they had been the day before, Tony and Tim were also nothing but professional and courteous to me and the many other customers they were juggling the whole time I was there. All told, I was only there for a little over an hour.When I hopped back in my car, I discovered that they'd vacuumed my floormats, and had even attached new adhesive strips to my EZ pass transponder, which I had taken off the windshield myself and placed in the cup holder before the service. This kind of attention to detail is truly exceptional.As I had been waiting in the customer area, I noticed a poster that proclaimed, "A delighted customer recommends four times more than a satisfied customer." I certainly left there "delighted," and will enthusiastically recommend this Safelite location to anyone needing glass repair or replacement.

What a great experience with getting my windshield replaced here. They had my vehicle done and ready faster than I could turn around to go get it. They were great with regard to communicating the status throughout the claims process. No reason to look any further than SafeLight Churchville.

One of your drivers is insane and has severe road rage! I see him driving up behind me on 95 outside of bel air real fast and then he's next to me swearing and trying to get me to pull over. Then he stops and I see the cars behind him swerve out of the way and the next thing I know he's next to me again and taking photos of me. I gave him a nice thumbs up because he's lost it. Then he almost stops on 95 and he's doing the same to the lady behind me. What is happening? Van 31275 and the guy has a beard and tattoos. Please get this maniac off the road!!!

Your tech. Alfred replaced my windshield yesterday. He was great, very friendly and kept me updated. he did a phenomenal job, there is not a speck of glass anywhere- mind you it was everywhere. 10/10 recommend!

10 stars!!! The staff on Saturday, September 3rd 2022 were very helpful and friendly. At the start of a long holiday weekend, they wrapped the passenger door window after a smash and grab earlier that morning. They cleaned up the glass inside the car as best they could when you have stuff in your car for 3 weeks away from home. 2 👍

Horrible work we still have both window chips. We paid extra to have them come out to us and in order for them to look at the still chipped windshield we have to drive 30 min to them. When I called to speak to the manager I told him it was still a sharp chip and he kept claiming they don't fix cosmetic. I never stayed I was concerned of it cosmetically. Then he told me you only get one chance to fix a chip so they would need to replace whole windshield and would apply my chip payment of $180 and it would still cost 400.....it seems like they do horrible work for higher money and I will not receive any refund the only thing offered is to allow them to replace my whole windshield when they couldn't even fish to little cracks....yea sure I'll trust you horrible work with my whole windshield....DON'T GO HERE!!!!

This is a doozy. Let me start by saying that I must have had a new installer or simply a bad one bc the job was not done correctly and I ended up with a damaged car. So why 4 stars you ask? Well fortunately SL worked with me on everything and not only did they take care of the repairs they also arranged a rental car while my car was being fixed. Didn't hurt that the manager and asst manager were about as polite and friendly as can be throughout the long process. So overall it all worked out. Unfortunately even with them being absolutely great to work with I still had almost 2 months of headaches to deal with going back and forth with scheduling, etc which is why I had to drop a star.

Michelle was awesome. We ran into some issues needing parts (NO fault of Safelite) and she was extremely knowledgeable, patient, accommodating, and caring. We've used Safelite before, both with and without insurance, and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. And Michelle was f'ing AWESOME. She needs a raise and a promotion!

I took my SUV to the Churchville, MD Safelite location to have a chip in my windshield repaired. I was promptly greeted by the store manager Tony and his staff. After discussing my payment options Tony took a look at my windshield damage and surprisingly stated that my damage was only a "superficial chip" and would only required a little filler and buffing. He then proceeded to surprise me further by saying his technician Michelle would perform the minor repair as a courtesy. Michelle quickly performed the repair and cleaned all of my windows and my windshield looks great! Tony's honesty and integrity and the professionalism of his staff was extremely refreshing. What started out as a terrible morning quickly turned into a great experience at Safelite. I highly recommend this location for your autoglass needs.
