They need serious employment help. 3 weekends I went and frate was still on the floor blocking aisles. Only one I see was working besides having self checkout. Its hard to maneuver around and there needs to be a good facing of the whole store. But the cashier smiled and was very pleasant

Pets are welcome. I brought Fido with me! Pricing is similar to Family Dollar because they have name brand items. It's easy to miss if you're not familiar with the area so use GPS. Wide selection of junk food to raise you blood sugar. I splurged on Laffy Taffy's and Oreo's. Expect to spend $10 or more here.

My husband and I went in for some small things. My husband dropped his wallet at some point and didn’t know. We looked around the house for 2 days and back tracked to him having it at this location last. We called and talked to a lady about any found wallets, answer was no. The next day I go in to personally look and ask around, the lady working was rude and told us no without checking the back. A day later my husband goes in and talked to a different employee who said they had two in the safe. One was his with $70 taken out of it. No doubt in my mind it was an employee who took the money but over all very rude employees over all. Would not recommend this location.

This location needs more employees to help get and keep the store organized. The aisles are full of boxes waiting to be put away. Corporate you need to do better! The local community, in general, is fed up with this issue. Many refuse to shop there because of this on going problem.

Every single time I have been to this store in the last few months I can barely get thru. It’s chaos there is always stuff all over the floor the last time I was in there I saw a little girl trip over some merch that was in the floor. You really need someone to actually set up the merchandise because it’s literally everywhere

The store itself is nice. The employees however not so much. There is one blonde lady with glasses who seems to always have her name badge on backwards. She is very rude to customers from my experience and others I have spoke to. This woman should not be working where she has to deal with people.

The employees are nice but the store is always a mess. This morning I ran to grab cat food and there’s a sign on the door they will closed for the foreseeable future soooo 🤷🏼‍♀️

Be careful dealing with this store. Just was profiled by the cashier, and pretty much accused of stealing. The cashier asked to check my cart three times, to "make sure it was an clean cart". Then said "you hate to get a record off of a cheap thrill". I bought $85 dollars worth of items. She also asked was I from around here, and told me she would personally wait on me.

Go here for your basic, name brand supplies. You can get your toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, plastic utensils, storage boxes, and other basics at a very good price without having to buy enough to last you five years.This is a great place for parents to buy school supplies. I get office and work supplies there. Just walk past the cheap seasonal offerings, and head to the back of the store (unless you need a seasonal item, like pool noodles, then go for it).

What an easy location to get to right off the main road in out service. Clean environment the employees are nice and of course reasonable prices. If you need assistance they're willing to help you I've been going there since they've opened and I recommended to people free easy shopping when you can go in and out and not have to worry about a long line

This is the cheapest place to buy your food, even though they don't have much of a selection, you will save on all of your snacks, cereal, pop tarts etc. However, don't buy any of their goods from the freezer/refrigerator section. They, for some reason, are ridiculously overpriced.

Very cumbersome trying to navigate the store with restocking during business hours. I'm a frequent flyer and this is the case every time. Annoying trying to determine prices since this is supposed to be a "dollar store". Friendly staff and good variety of items.

Today I had a great dg experience. I went to drop off a FedEx package and the cashier (I believe her name was Evonia) was super friendly and helpful. I really appreciated her pleasant attitude. :)

DG sold this store to a private company and then took the ENTIRE MANAGEMENT TEAM to Lothian! John Thomas kept the shelves STOCKED and ORGANIZED. Now, the shelves are half-empty and boxes are EVERYWHERE!The staff is very nice, this store is just poorly-managed or under-staffed...or BOTH! I now go to the Wayson's store when I hit Tractor Supply. I avoid this store as much as possible. I wonder if the new owners realized DG poached their management team..... I'm sure their revenue is MUCH LESS now. I've walked out many times because they did not have what I needed.Lastly: THE TRASH IN THE PARKING LOT is DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!

Always a line with slow service. There are usually multiple associates but only one waiting on customers the other is either walking back and forth watching the long line or outside. The young man waiting on customers is always pleasant and helpful.

It was if you need something in a hurry, hopefully they have it. Not a great selection, some seasonal items we're fair price. But don't expect dollar store prices, some food items I felt we're maybe same as grocery store prices if not more.

I happen to be in a hurry to get home but needed to stop & get my best friend, my puppy some dog food. So I remembered that the Dollar General on Muddy Creek Rd. was jst a couple mins the opposite direction of where I'd usually turn to head home to Edgewater. I arrived at Dollar General about 9:30am & was the only customer there at that time. I went in & the store was clean & neat. There was 1 gentlemen there stocking shelves & a woman stocking but also watching after the register. Although the pet section shelves seemed alittle bare & disorganized I still was able to find the few things I needed & upon check out the woman that rang me up at the check out was extremely pleasant & very helpful. Overall, I'd most definitely shop there again.

The local Churchton Dollar General seems to have just about everything - clothing, cleaning products, snacks, can even rent a carpet shampooer. Would be nice to have the extra produce that some Dollar General stores have, lines are also often slow due to few employees working at once. Otherwise, good general stop on the way home, or that quick supply run on the weekend.

I can always count on dollar general to pop up in the boonies. Sure enough upon my visit in this time of year when the winter frost begins to melt giving way to the warm months to come we find one nesseld in the small town of Deale, I decided to visit and they were well stocked with a wide array of nick-nacks, snacks, and last minute checkout items you regret purchasing later. However it's a dollar store so 3 stars.

As of late Spring / early Summer 2018, this store is not stocked well. Many things perpetually missing from shelves. Do not shop here as much as I used to. Going to grocery stores up the road instead of this store now.

Ocean Spray Cranapple is cheap! It's a great place for rubber-backed area rugs, dish towels, cleaning supplies, etc. Not so much for kitchen appliances.
