I wish Christopher’s would provide more organic options for fruits and veggies, pasture raised meats and dairy. We have a lot of local farmers that sustainably raise their farm animals and are grass fed without hormones.I live so close but never shop at my local grocery store for these reasons. It’s unfortunate because I love to support local businesses.

I can’t believe they were trying to charge me .5 cents for a bag. As just about everything in that store is overpriced as it is, I only stopped by becuz i was in the area. Love this local market. Bought 3 potato salad, Amish macaroni salad and sweet slaw along with burger fixings. Employees are all very nice and helpful.

Gotta love local shopping. One of the best parts is their portions. You don't have to buy 10 lbs to get a good deal from the meat dept. Their store is unique unlike these large chains. The people at the register are always happy and froendly. Their deli is great!

The employees are very friendly, clean & helpful, they have things that you might not fine in other groceries store. If you live close to this store come check them out!!! Love this store it’s a small business I feel that we need to support our small businesses! Everyone should support their small businesses in their area’s!

Great for a quick stop on the way home but the prices are higher than most grocery stores. Despite this they have an excellent selection of products and good people that work there. Need to work on the produce though.

Yes. It’s expensive. But considering you either have to drive to Edgewater or Annapolis or Dunkirk to go to another grocer they kind of have the upper hand there. Customer service has always been great (of course, my kid worked there lol). The other workers are always super nice. I have found molded bread on an occasion or two. Produce does seem to turn a little quicker, but nothing crazy. Over all, convenient and well run, just expensive

It is convenient, however, the prices are high and I often by perishable that either are expired or expire within a day or 2 such as milk, eggs and bags of salad. Also, the teenage cashier's are unprofessional and not trained well.

It is a nice store, however the prices are high and one week they have something you love, the next week it is gone. Not sure why it fluctuates so much. As others have said the deli department is great and they do have the best fried chicken going! The cashiers can be hit or miss, some are antisocial and pretend that the customer is not even there, I think that they really need a lesson in customer care as it seems to be lacking. It doesn't take a whole lot of effort to be polite and social with the customers, in fact that is what will keep people coming back.

Convenient local grocery store but that's all it has going for it. ridiculously overpriced and poorly run. Customer service is a joke unless you consider being bereated for returning a dead basil plant less than 24 hrs after purchase with a receipt! The employees smoke out front, curse and complain abt the management infront of customers and are generally disgruntled. The selection of foods is poor, the produce is just awful and equally overpriced. I've given them many chances - no more.

I love this store! The produce is always fresh and reasonably priced, the bakery puts outs delicious breads and pastries. The deli is well stocked, but the best part is their STEAKS and JUMBO shrimp (wild caught) and fantastic. They are better than any store around here, including Nick's

For it's size, the selection is good...it has all of the basics a grocery store would typically have but may not have as vast a variety as some of the larger stores that are up in Edgewater and beyond. It's a nice "small town" store with that same small town feel, which is good.Pricing is also apparently a concern amongst regular shoppers here...I've not really paid attention as I'm not in here as much; usually when I come in here I might need to pick up something quick when visiting my girlfriend (who actually lives in the area).

BEWARE: Twice had the experience of being overcharged. An item is on the shelf at one price, then rings up around 50 cents more. Noticed it the second time, and got a refund. I don't think I'll be going back, thanks.

Great place to shop close to home. Love the meat section the most since I cut meat for 30 years. Cashier's get you checked out on a timlyt manner . Only downside is a couple of employees play keno seems like every time I shop in the morning. Not good for business !

Great local small town grocery store. It may not be fancy but it had everything you need and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful! One of those places where the employees all say hi and good morning as you walk by

I love shopping at Christopher's. The butcher cuts the meats, just the way I like them. The employees are so nice and friendly. Also, they have a lot of items on sale every week. They always have what I need. My kind of Grocery store.

Excellent spot to go for last minute items you may have forgotten while visiting South County. My father in law likes their meat selection. I would like to see more organic produce and healthy meat alternatives. Deli is great and always a good selection of fresh bread, deserts, and wide selection of sea food.

It's not a big grocery store. There is no pharmacy section or greeting cards etc. It's got a decent selection as far as food. Quality is good, the prices are competitive and the checkout aisles are FAST. It is very rare that I have to wait in line longer than a couple minutes, even during busy hours.

I want to love this place but can't, I like the butcher, meat selection is good and fresh with good prices, deli is good, produce is good but god forbid you ask a question or need help. The staff in this store, especially the cashiers are by far the rudest people I have encountered. I have been going here for years because it is convenient, I hoped that when they moved and became Christopher's they would get some nicer employees. I was there last night, I am checking out, say hi, get a look, then when done I say have a good evening she turns her back on me and leans on the register. All of them are like this, I would like to tell you I won't go back, but I will, perhaps that is why they behave this way, we do not have a lot of options in the area.As a manager I would not tolerate this and am not sure why they do. Customer service just doesn't seem to matter so if you want that shop elsewhere.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It’s my favorite place to get crispy green leaf lettuce. If they are down to the last two that seems wilted, the produce staff are always more than willing to bring out more crispy ones. Prices are high for produce though.

Nice local store, has all your basics and some. Prices are slightly on the high side. I am giving it 3 stars due to the prepared food department. The prepared food department needs more attention from management or county health department. I do not believe that the food is kept at proper temperatures. I got severely sick after eating here.

I was checking out a few days ago (Thursday, June 6, 2019) and my cashier was Hailey. She was the sweetest, nicest, most helpful cashier and very talented at her job! She went over and above to help me load my cart with my paid for groceries and all the while, checking out and loading, had a smile on her face! Be aware, they scammed me couple of times, first time the price for a watermelon was 4.99 at the register they charged me 7.99. Today tomatoes price was 1.49 per pound they charged me 3.99 at the register. Please check your receipt, because they are scamming people.
