Chesapeake outdoors is just a great place that is local here on the island. Everyone who works there are very kind and respectful! I even take my dog Casper in there with me at times. They all love him. They are always willing to help.

Went here to buy some crankbaits, there was a huge selection of fishing supplies. Didn't go in there but the others side of the store was all hunting supplies including guns,bows,ammo etc. The staff was very nice

I pay attention to detail. I bought over $60 of equipment, that was worth half that much. Bought two pack of worms, that were not even what I was looking for, and were coagulated! If you don’t want black customers in your store just say so! Don’t charge me for you would not sell to your brother.

Searched several gun shops for muzzle loader supplies . Came up empty handed till I came here. They had just what I needed . Great service , great peopleI would give 10 stars if they were available.A real pleasure to deal with real peopleThanks again for your help again.

Daren at the service desk was any thing but someone who provides customer service . He did not greet us, and after ringing up the items basically threw the bag on the counter . When I asked if we were done everyone laughed . Sad state of service in this store . I will NEVER spend another cent in this store . The staff at Island Tackle are much more respectful and friendlier. Being new here in a new community I will be sure to spread the word . Take your business elsewhere.

First time I stopped in today, spoke with a gentleman named Pete. Answered all my questions thoroughly and talked to him about potentially buying my first bow.. showed me a reasonable option which won't burn a hole in my pocket and ensured he would tune it to my personal fitting. You don't get many people who genuily take the time to provide great personal service like he did. Needless to say, i will probably be in next week to buy my first bow with Pete.

Took my bow here to get serviced. Bowsmith was very knowledgeable and reccomended some very useful accessories. Staff was polite despite all the Covid-19 protocol. Browsed their hunting section and found everything I would need for the up coming hunting seasons. Will be returning to restock in the fall. Great shop all around.

Great selection of fishing and crabbing gear.The crabbing supplies ( not bait ) are a little pricey but they do have everything you might need.Also make sure you try Charlie's breakfast sandwiches !!!

Just went to get chicken necks for crab bait. They really take their chicken necks seriously.A bag of a dozen necks for the rookies. A 10 pound bag for those of us who are freezer challenged, and a 50 pound box for the hard core crabber.Chesapeake Outdoor. Great find!

This was an amazing experience. We had dolphing swimming along our kayak the entire way back to the shore- atleat a dozen of them. I would highly recommend this. Mat was so patient with us as it was our first experience kayaking. I would highly recommend it!!

They are the worst people I have ever done business with they took my money of my card 2 then told me my money would be back on my card in 72 hours then there excuse was they didnt take the money I need to call my bank when I clearly have proof they took the money off my card !! And I fully recomend carolina sportsmen they are honest pepeol unlike these

Great old-fashioned sporting good store they have everything you need for every type of outdoor activity you can engage in on the eastern shore of Maryland. I bought bait here, explored the archery Department, and took a look at some of their great waterfowl firearms. This is the type of sporting goods store that distinguishes the Eastern Shore and the Hunting community from Big retail outlets. Please visit the store and peruse all the great items they have their staff will be sure to assist you to make your outdoor hunting and fishing experience successful.

Our group stopped by this place to purchase a rec boat crabbing license. The short thin guy that waited on us must have been the most RUDE person I have met in the last 20 years. When I asked him about the buying the boat crabbing license, he told us no. He then proceeded to tell us that we each needed to purchase a individual crabbing license because dnr no longer sell boat crabbing licenses. He lied, I called dnr after returning home they Do sell rec boat crabbing licenses. When I asked about the nearest boat ramp ...OMG... you would of thought I asked him for his first born child.If it wasn't for the fact that they were the only place that were open at 5 am I would of walked out after the first few words spewed out of his mouth.The reason they get two stars is for the the other two employees were very polite and friendly. The tall gentleman and lady from whom I received the boat ramp info.
