It's one of my favorite stores. I furnished my house from big lots and under $3,000 thru their snap program. I get my candles and wax melts ☺️ definitely can find great home items.

I haven't been to big lots in years!! They don't have a lot of them where I live. The associates were very nice and patient! Even after my family and I kept buying stuff back to back😂. Would be on our way out and we see something else to buy, we almost couldn't get out the store 😂. The store was clean and neat as well👍🏾

There is always a variety of things to buy there at reasonable prices, but rarely can you find the same things there week to week. They sell a wide selection of items, but the variety per item is limited. One or two brands of each thing, except I noticed there are multiple pet brands. A sampling of their wares include furniture, toiletries, canned and boxed foods, costume jewelry, low-end electronic accessories, small kitchen ware, decor, linens, cleaning products, and seasonal items. They are now charging you if you don't bring your own bag at 10 cents per paper bag, and they expect you to put your items in your bag. There are restrooms in the back and plenty of parking, including handicapped parking.

First time in this Big Lots location. The store was clean and organized. Good variety of products. It's located right off 50, so it makes it easy to access from local roads or the highway. Employees were courteous and helpful. The prices were decent and due to being close to Christmas, they were running some good sales. I was able to find what I was looking for. The place was not crowded so it was easy to pay and get out.

I don't down grade a business just because they didn't have exactly what I was looking for. The sales associate did help me and was pleasent. I did find that they had something I will be buying in a little while. I did spend a little time checking some prices due to the fact we are experiencing price increases in general these days.

It was fun looking at all the new selections they put out. I was just passing through and stopped here. Plan on returning to make large purchases in future. Their items are low in cost and great value. Didn't expect that. Great place to shop for sure.

A trip to Big Lots is always an enjoyable experience. You cannot beat the prices on canned goods and cereal, although oftentimes the cereal variety is limited. They also have a few items of Indian and Asian food that are different, and often not easily found elsewhere. I love visiting their outdoor furniture area. I have bought a few items of summer furniture, which has held up well. NOTE: YOU DO HAVE TO PUT IT TOFETHER

Big Lots on Kent Island was great. For a discount store, I found so many things that I need and I could have spent hundreds of dollars there and not on furniture or the expensive things. And the thing that I came in there for I found on sale for $2.50 and and the regular store it was $40. I also found the glass for my phone discounted down to $2 and it was I think $30 in Verizon. And the staff was wonderful and helpful. I didn't want to leave but they were closing at 10 p.m. and turning off the lights and I was still trying to shop!

Great customer service. Came all the way from Seaford DE since staff there always make me feel like I’m bothering. Had an amazing experience with Jerome. He was outstanding! Polite, really wanting to assist me and my husband, super nice and seems to care about his customers. I’ll definitely come back to furniture the rest of my house...thanks Jerome!

My daughter and son in law bought a sofa and love seat from Big Lots in Chester and it held up very well. They had it for 5 years and even with 3 dogs it was still in good condition, except for a few stains from the dogs.A friend now has the set and it is still in good condition. I have never really had a problem except for an outdoor set which did not hold up well but they refunded my money with no problem. They have the best selection of accessories and great prices. Their snack food and dog treats (AKC) brand are much cheaper than the grocery stores along with many other items. All of the workers are very friendly and helpful.

Love Big Lots great t.p. prices and they are putting out Christmas decorations at a reasonable price. Join their BL club and receive many dollar off coupons. They opened a new one in Easton which is beautiful.

Have filed a complaint because of treatment of cashier. Today I discovered I was charged twice for the same purchase. It is supposed to be corrected soon. Otherwise you can find some good bargains but you have to be careful. Some things are definitely overpriced.

4 stars because the check-out line was long. This store is particularly orderly and well looked after compared to others I've been to. Even the makeup aisle was tidy. That's amazing.

This store always surprises me. Now it has been remodeled and is even better. You just don't know what you will find and the prices are very reasonable and sometimes downright cheap!

This store is like a super giant combo of Kmart and Wal-Mart. Great prices and friendly staff. Has lot of bulk containers in boxes and cheap pricing. Household items are durable and not clumsy.

This particular Big Lots doesn't accept manufacturers coupons. It didn't allow my birthday 15% Big Lots off entire purchases as advertised would honor.

Wow. Was there recently looking for end tables and had a nice looking one in mind until I heard the furniture guy (Greg or Gary?) chuckling at this couple who apparently had an issue with a mattresses I believe. They said they wanted to exchange it because most of the stitching on one side of the mattress came up which is definitely something he should have allowed them to exchange. Here's what he said, "You shouldn't have bought a mattress at Big Lots". The man took his wife's hand and walked out. The furniture guy just chuckled.

Big Lots BBB Rating is D- one reason for this rating is for not responding to or making effort to resolve consumer complaints (I wish I read reviews and complaints first)If you want to take a huge risk and end up with a piece of junk sitting in your living room go with Big Lots.Bought a beautiful Simmons sectional but the smell (a slight sulfer/vomit) which I honestly and probably stupidly thought was some kind of fire retardant chemical treatment at the factory will not go away. 3 months later and Big Lots deemed it "customer abuse" and will not let me exchange. This has been a terrible year. First O'donnell Honda Ellicott City and now Big Lots. It seems like you cant trust anybody these days which is so sad especially for someone like me who naively puts way to much trust in businesses and people and ends up getting screwed. The world is filled with a bunch of con artist salesman especially in the Big Lots furniture department.
