This is a very convenient DG. But as we’re going well into 2 years of you know what - work shortage - fair pay - seems there is no one to put away the stock. I could barely shop and get what I needed.

I am a relative newcomer to the area and will not give you a biased local yokel review where someone is a cousin, sister, wife to the manager of the store. This store is terribly mismanaged and the staff are all unbelievably slow and inept at the job of putting away stock. I am not going to review based on the attitudes of the staff, nobody in retail is terribly happy. I am reviewing on two basic essentials: Inventory and safety. The store never has any inventory (stock) on the shelves not even the basic essentials. You would be hard pressed to find medicine for you or your children on the shelf during cold and flu season or even not during cold and flu season. As far as safety goes, there is a number of outdated expired items on the shelf that didn’t just go bad yesterday but sometimes a few years ago! Oh, and the staff routinely blocks the aisles and emergency doors with U-boats of unworked product! What happens if there is an emergency or if a young child cuts themselves on the metal U-boats? Please do yourself a favor and go to a different DG. This local store will never be anything better until the staff learns to pack out product and the Manager is let go.

This is such a nice store! They've got lots of items, both commonly needed and surprisingly appreciated. Everyone who works here is always really friendly, and it even feels almost like a mom/pop type store sometimes for that reason. The location is also super convenient here in Chesapeake City.

Super convenient for anyone between Elkton and middletown or cecilton. Employees are very helpful and very friendly.. If your going in make sure you take in some change because they much like other stores during covid are in a change shortage! So share the love and turn in some change

Went in this morning to ask for toilet paper. Obviously hard to come by during this time. However that doesn't deserve the miserable response I got from a worker who almost ran into me with her cart without knowing. Used to go there all the time. Not anymore. Get a new job if you are miserable with the one you have.

ALL Dollar Generals great. I went through my bank charges and realized how often I go to Dollar General. Good prices...purchase essential items. Purchased some things for the homeless too.

The store was fine, they had what I needed but every time I go into this one, the cashiers are always miserable and grouchy. They always make me feel like i am bothering them.

This dollar General is the worse dollar gen I have visited they are not store friendly they have bad attitudes with their costumers about issues with coupons and asking basic questions the older lady manager is snobbish and acts like her job is a big problem..all in all it just doesn't have the feel good vibe as I've seen in the other dollar generals.
