This is a grocery store. Here, you can purchase the things you may or may not need or are looking for in your life at this moment or in the future. There is an unusually large variety of sodas. The broccoli is also of good quality. Green and bunchy. Sometimes the fried fish is worth it, other times, there's more fry than fish. You can buy beer here for some reason that I haven't figured out. The employees are nice and wish me a nice day when I leave! Thank you!

Very good local grocery store. They have a very wide slections of merchandise people are friendly it's clean. And their chicken is the best not to mention the potato salad.

Terrific group of employees make shopping here not such a chore. I’m always greeted with pleasant attitudes, offers to assist above/beyond the “just doing my job & nothing extra” mentality of some businesses.The beautiful lady who’s usually at the first register (Claudia) is very professional. What I appreciate most is her genuine kindness & attentiveness. We always have a little conversation while she’s doing her job flawlessly & she pays attention to things about my items that I may not have noticed which helps to avoid disappointments afterwards. Multitasking at it’s finest!!

I came in Friday morning around 7:30am for one item and was instantly greeted with a warm welcome upon entering. I grabbed my item and went to self checkout. As I rung it up, the coupon screen said there was a $2 off coupon so I entered in my phone number. Unfortunately the coupon wasn’t there anymore, I wasn’t sure if I may have done something wrong or if it had possibly already added the coupon. I asked the lady who was working self checkout, Mickey, for assistance. Mickey was very helpful and got everything figured out for me quickly. Mickey also has amazing customer service skills and is a wonderful asset to your establishment.

Friendly staff. Nice cart attendants. Visiting family here for a few wks from out of town. Shopping here alot. For such an affluent area I have to say management should step up the game here to show up in better form. Remodel is def in order. Cleanliness of flooring in meat department. Better working area for deli and meat workers.. come on you guys make alot of money. Time to step it up and get with the times.

Sooo I will never use Delivery services AGAIN!! I had no idea that the items I was missing wasn’t in stock until I called and confirmed that ( as I have a right to when spending my money ). Further more to tell me that my grocery delivery time was 1:30 to 2:30 and say it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get it delivered by 1:30 was by far crazy to say (because who ever said that! ) I didn’t receive my groceries until 2:43 and Roland’s is across the street(THATS EXACTLY WHY THERE IS A TIME FRAME OF 1:30 to 2:30 ) so never did I THINK THEY WOULD COME AT 1:30 !!! That really pissed me off !!! I was very nice and I couldn’t get none of my questions answered without being overtalked and getting told I don’t do this and that and I heard this is how this works and that works . I was told that construction could have been the reason why it took an extra 13 min okkk it’s not even 13 min away but I guess .. then I was given all these explanations about how the process works I never asked who walks the store and who sees what and none of that all I was trying to do was confirm my totals and items missing and Ms.Pooh acted like it was a problem that I called and asked questions !! I even told her that if it was a problem with me calling to confirm my concerns I don’t know what else to say because at that point I was shocked at the entire experience!!!!I’ve worked in many grocery stores and I know good customer service and this was definitely not it ! The attitude and how Ms. Pooh cared more about jumping on the phone addressing how IMPOSSIBLE it was to get my groceries to me BETWEEN 1:30-2:30 was ridiculous!!! 1-5 min cool 6min ok 7 min fine ,8 min ok wait a min 9/10 min I made a phone call just to get a idea of how much longer .. again I should be able to call and confirm when my groceries should be arriving. But no that was a problem and it should not have been !It should have been Hello Ms.Brown I just delivered your groceries and I was asked to call you about your concerns . There was nothing good about this experience at all!!!

I love to cook and some ingredients are hard to find at other grocery stores, but Rolands never lets me down. Today when shopping around I noticed some changes. The shelves were extremely organized and it was satisfying. Self check out was also installed. I’m very impressed with the changes so much that I had to write this review. The only thing I don’t like so much are the prices. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that some items are a bit too expensive. People pay for convenience though. It beats driving 25 mins to another grocery store, but if the prices were decreased I would all of my grocery shopping there.

A very friendly long time local grocery store, with a decent liquor and beer store attached. Doesn't have the widest variety of products given its size but that's to be expected. But for the size they do have they carry a number of really good things. Deli counter is always been a standout, their fried chicken and chicken salad can't be beat! Convenient location and staff are just really nice

Very grateful for this well stocked mini-grocery. Large selection for the size of store and there's a decent selection of organic, ethnic and specialty items on top of what you normally would expect to find in a grocery store of any size. Great customer service; with hats off to the produce department and the youth who help customers load their vehicles and put away their carts. And I'm a picky foodie and Roland's remains one of my main "go-to" grocery stores.

The parking lot is a nightmare at busy hours. I usually go early, ,when they 1st open. Always enough pleasant employees to help you find items. Butcher on hand to custom cut or grind your meats. Check out is almost always a breeze. Great sale prices . Love my Rolands, hardly even shop anywhere else.

Excellent Customer Service! MOUTH watering FRIED CHICKEN!! The potato salad is as close to Mom's as you'll GET! And.. their prices are competitive with ALL major retail "chains", which is saying a LOT considering it's a vacation/beach location!Definitely making Roland's my one stop shop considering I'm new to the area!!

The deli is top rate. They have hot food, sandwiches, baked goods, salads (potato, chicken, cole slaw, etc...) and lunch meat. They're friendly and professional and they really do have almost anything you could ever need. The adult beverages section is well stocked with beer, liquor and wine. The prices are comparable to any other grocery store yet Roland's offers so much more than the others.

The produce is always fresh and the staff is friendly and polite. If you need help finding anything the staff will take you to where it is located in the store. The employees get along well with each other and work together to make sure you have a pleasant shopping experience. I would recommend Rolands to everyone I know.

Roland's is several things, close, reliable, the only game in town. They have a good selection of food, and a great selection of liquor. Their prices are a little higher, but they are much closer for those of us who live nearby. I don't shop there every day, but when I am in a pinch and I need something fast, I am always glad Roland's is there.

the food is HIGHLY overpriced they're selling Essential Everyday brand which is the generic brand at WALMART and they like to charge double the price..they are taking full advantage of the fact that they are the only grocery store in the area..I bought chicken from them..the chickens were huge so I know they were filled with hormones..I let the chicken sit in the fridge for a day before I cooked it..I opened the chicken and it smelled like rotten eggs. The only good about this store is that it's convenient.. but not enough for me I will gladly drive to Dunkirk or prince Frederick instead

Rolands is the absolute best place for birthday cakes, hot deli foods and cold subs. Their deli sides are unbelievable chicken salad is my favorite and the Mac salad oh and then there's Italian pasta. I could go on. The people that work there are like family, you'll always hear someone talking and laughing with them. Its just an awesome place.

Wonderful market with a wide assortment of basics as well as more upscale items. Good cheeses and produce, plus alcoholic beverages.I've always appreciated how Roland's blends in with the natural wood décor of the little shopping center it's located in -- which is most unusual for a grocery store these days. A pleasure to shop there.

Amazing friend chicken made fresh all the time! Rotisserie chicken is much tastier than bigger supermarkets. Easy to pick up last minute items for any meal. And there is a liquor store attached too!!

Cart handles unsanitary with nothing to clean them like Walmart. Prices are triple. 4 sticks of butter= $8.00. Lower quality off brands than dollar gen. Off brand coffee is not even consumable. Threw away. This is the only store for over 20 minutes, they take full advantage of this situation. Rolands screws people just because they can. Terrible example of any decent business.

The produce is good, they have gluten-free products, and they're prices are great, especially considering they are a local grocery store. And the staff are all friendly and helpful, they will walk you out to your car, unload your groceries for you and then bring your cart back inside!

The owner is mean. They hike up the prices because they are the only grocery store in town. Last resort to get your groceries. Drive the extra 11 minutes to Safeway or the even better when the Harris Teeter opens in Dunkirk.The Beaches need another option to buy food.

Jimmy who works in the liquor dept was super helpful during my visit today. He had a vast knowledge of Belgium beers. I'm from out of town, he and the entire staff really pleasant and welcoming.

We moved to south Anne Arundel County 22 years ago and a friend told me about Roland’s homemade potato salad. I tried it and, needless to say, I have not made potato salad in 22 years. I regularly stock their chicken and tuna salads as well. Nobody makes them as good as Roland’s, period.
