This pharmacy is one of the worst in Walgreens history. Had to call my doctor 3 times to resend my prescription because the pharmacy claimed they didn't receive it. When my doctor telling me she can see where they acknowledged that they have received it her system. Totally unorganized if you can't get the pharmacy straight then close it down in the store

If you are having surgery will need pain meds do Not have the script sent to this store. They will be out of stock and hopefully will have it the next day. But they don't know for sure .. how is that possible in this day and age? They will also refuse to transfer it to another Walgreens store that does have it in stock. So while you suffer needlessly these people will do absolutely nothing to assist you including calling your surgeon to let them know before you end up waiting days.

I just left the Rite Aid in Charlotte Hall, where I was treated incredibly disrespectfully by the cashier. I was waiting at the back of the line and she called me forward and says hello, and I said hi, she mumbled something. I didn’t answer her because it was under her mask & figured she didn’t mean to speak directly to me, because she wasn’t looking at me. She then pulled her mask out and yells HI unnecessarily loud in my face and I said hi I’m sorry I didn’t hear you. She said “I said hi twice loud, you want customer service but you don’t know how to talk”. I didn’t feel the need to inform her that I had actually said hi the first time but SHE didn’t hear me. It wasn’t worth what I believed would turn into an argument. She then proceeded to drop my receipt on the counter before I could take it from her & when I said thank you she laughed at me. The man that I have seen in there every time I go, who I believe is the manager, was standing right there throughout the whole interaction, and did not acknowledge any of it or say a word, but was watching the entire thing because we made eye contact more than once.

very slow and be prepared to wait.... the pharmasist "Mr.Ignatious" is very dismisive to customers, doesnt make eye contact, and appears to be the same with the staff behind the counter. doesn't matter if you call ahead, do drive through, or go to the pharmacy counter you better have a plenty of time to wait ( the reason I have time for this review). We only use this pharmacy due to location , you might get your meds faster if you drive an extra 15-20min. We have never had our meds ready , even when we are told they are ready when we call ahead, it's obvious to me they have high volume , but there must be a solution to the poor communication at least

Don't wait in drive through,it's always beyond backed up. In store check out is rather speedy. Friendly,helpful staff. Clean store, pretty good selection of items if you need something else while picking up your meds. Prices aren't bad.

I have the upmost respect and empathy for understaffed/overworked businesses and I do understand how hectic the pharmacy is, especially during the pandemic. But the lines, wait time and complete lack of communication is really upsetting. I have been trying to get on the phone with a real person for almost 2 hours about my prescription, but have been put on a monotonous hold with no hope for somebody picking up on the other end. The process for getting the prescription at the actual pharmacy is a whole separate nightmare. After waiting for 4 hours for a prescription that was supposed to be ready in just 2 hours, it is clear that the staff is completely overwhelmed and disorganized. In my opinion, this is no fault of their own. Somebody really needs to fix the management at this Walgreens.

Vastly under-rated and maligned. I have been going here for decades, through changing ownerships, and managers. Compared to the vast majority of the other pharmacies in the area, they are consistently fair and even-handed. Yes, there are sometimes lines, and they can be long. That said, consider that there are lines for a reason, and that reason is because they are so good! I have personally never had a problem with any of the staff or pharmacists. I find them to be happy, well trained, professional, and above all, helpful and aware of my needs and concerns.

The worst. Been waiting on a prescription refill for 2 weeks. I went to pick it up the first time & they told me it was insurance. Called insurance, they approved it. Called Walgreens back the same day, they confirmed it was approved and told me it’d be ready in 2 hours. Went back in 2 hours… they then tell me the medication is out of stock and to call back in 2 days. I call them then as I was told, they then say my provider needs to resend it. My provider resends it, they say they can’t fill it for another week. So, here we are a week later and they are now saying it is out of stock again. Odds that I can ever pick up my medication? Highly unlikely. Worst customer service. Everyone says something different and nobody seems to know what’s going on. The patient portal says it was filled 2 weeks ago yet the pharmacy tells me something new every time I go there/call.

I just left Walgreens, 45 minutes to get shots. When John gave us our shots he was very polite and the shots didn't hurt a bit.

Working in pharmacy myself, I sympathize with being busy and overworked. However, being on hold for thirty minutes and waiting six hours for an essential prescription is pushing my limits. The people are nice, but I do not let my family do any prescriptions at this location.

My experience at Walgreens was laughable. I waited around for 10-15 minutes to get Photo services for a passport renewal because the store was "understaffed" and the line was 9+ people. I heard the cashier loudly exclaim to an elderly customer that her card was declined. The cashier finally provided my 5 minutes of service while sweating like a pig and complaining to me about the short staff. Mind you, by this time the "rush" had slowed down significantly and another associate was present. He tried to persuade me that the blurry picture that he took would be acceptable. While I waiting for him to process my second batch of pictures another customer lines up behind me and ask for passport pictures. He dramatically yells to another cashier that there will be "NO MORE PASSPORT PHOTOS AFTER HER" with a sharp cutthroat gesture. If you can't handle a store with merely 10 customers, you probably need to find another job.

This is absolutely the worst pharmacy. I’m about to change to either CVS in Mechanicsville or Ashooks in Mechanicsville. The staff is friendly but so so slow. I never have this many problems anywhere but here. My medication is never ready and I always wait until the next day to come and pick it up after receiving notification. I get there and without fail I’m always told. It was either not run through my insurance or it’s being filled now at 10am even though it was electronically sent in at 6pm the night before. I’m over it. Just because the name changed didn’t change the problem. Get some staff please bring in another pharmacist if you are doing that much volume. Damn.

I went online scheduled an appointment for a pneumonia shot. I completed the form on line and it said it was sent successfully. I got there five minutes before my appointment.The young man that waited on me should not be working with the public. He didn’t know what he was doing. I said I had scheduled my appointment and completed the paperwork. He says oh we don’t use that system anymore. So I waited and waited and waited he called me up and gave me the same papers I filled out online. I scribbled my info gave it back and waited again for awhile. I finally just left. There is a hassle or issue every time I have to go in there. It’s only when I really need something. That store is awful.

I can't ever get anyone to answer the phone in the pharmacy. The problem isn't the humans. It's the idiotic answering service. Or whatever you want to call it. I have been going to this location ever since I moved here and this is the worse. I can never get all my prescriptions at once. It's unreal. Maybe if a person could answer the phone it might be better...

I only go due to it’s location. Steer clear if you have time to drive elsewhere! The store is extremely mis-managed and does not follow a consistent customer service process. Walgreens as a whole is an extreme disappointment.

If I could post zero star I would!!! Prescriptions take hours to fill even when marked urgent by the pediatrician. I dropped off 2 prescriptions for myself Thursday gave them an extra day to fill and came back Saturday and I was told they need to be ordered. Understandable but why weren’t they ordered Thursday for a Friday delivery, and why want I told that when I dropped them off???? Anyway this is the LAST prescription my family will be filling there. What a joke!

Been told my perception would be in “tomorrow” for two weeks. When I went to pick up a separate prescription they had a note on that one that said my other medicine I’ve been waiting on they can’t get at their store because it’s the generic. I asked if they could get the name brand and was told no because my insurance might not cover it...I know my insurance does but, regardless of that, why are you assuming instead of just ordering? And why was I not told TWO WEEKS ago that they can’t get my prescription?? Now I have to go without for another two weeks. Unless they’re lying again. People out here probably dying because Walgreens employees just lie when they don’t understand how to do their job.Edit 2/24/20Gave it another chance and they canceled all my prescriptions without telling me. Not worth the headache, go somewhere else.

Walgreens should read their reviews. Went to get Covid test and have been waiting on results for 5 days. The lab website boasts a 24/48 hour turnaround. The lab they use is Aegis and their reviews are no better. These two pathetic companies deserve each other. Done with both of them.

Sit on hold for extreme lengths of time every time I call. They never pickup the phone. They even closed down without answering the phone (when I had been on hold for 1/2 hr). Prescriptions are constantly out of stock and do not come in when promised. Long wait times to pickup. I thought Rite Aid was bad, but this is far far worse.

All of the people who run the registers, really try to be helpful, and nice. That's the only reason I gave it 2 stars. Everything else about this pharmacy is unbelievably terrible!

This is the worst pharmacy I ever been too. The pharmacist is so rude all the time and never gives me straight answers. Twice they said it wasn't their problem and I've been hung up on. Worst customer service. The front cashier's are nice but I regret EVER using that pharmacy. Save yourself the trouble and poor service.

Awful. I get put on hold every time I call for up to 30 minutes then get disconnected...drive thru takes forever but it's faster than going inside. Have had to have my doctor recall in prescriptions because they say "we never received it"....twice this has happened. I'm done.

I wish I could give them zero stars. It shouldn't take 1.5 hours to get 3 prescriptions. I could understand if they were busy but there wasn't anyone in the store.. Absolutely ridiculous

On hold for more than 30 mins for the pharmacy, lines are long inside and out. Processed Rx through app and it showed processed I check it a day later bc I had not heard from Walgreens and it is no longer there! Thought it was supposed to get better from rite aid it is horrible.

Another local pharmacy was out if a medication. O called location who not only had the medication but called to have prescription transfered. They promised to call when medication ready and did so within 15 minutes. Will be returning

Random hours are set by staff depending on staffing. I mean, I get it, but they should inform Upper management and change the stores hours perminantly.
