If this is not the store that you shop you should. You will not be disappointed. The service is amazing her caregivers told her and they always helped her caregivers if they cannot find something. It's absolutely the best fresh beef deal I've gotten in a very long time. Kudos to whomever assembles the kabobs. You get your moneys worth of beef! I have enough for another meal!!!I decided to look for a meat deal since I won $15 in the meat department with ANY purchase playing the summer fun game!!I first look for the 30% off stickers to maximize my savings. I bought 3 packages, with 3 kabobs each, minus the $15 winnings, a whopping $1.37!!!! The original price for all 3 pkgs would have been $52.63 (See pics for pricing labels). The deal gets even better. There was enough beef from the overabundance on the kabobs that now have enough for 2nd dinner with 7 kabobs!! All for $1.37!!!I marinated in teriyaki sauce and grilled them on the Ninja grill. Mea was so flavorable and tender.I would recommend checking for the 30% stickers. Even with the $15 off coupon, this was still an awesome deal!!!!Most staff are very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there are a few staff who always appear just miserable. They will, begrudgingly, help you if you ask nicely ;)The store and bathrooms are clean.

The Acme used to be my go to place for grocery shopping, but lately I've been having bad experiences with their deli department. There will be a couple of employees behind the counter, totally ignoring the people waiting to be waited on with their backs turned doing prep work that is supposed to be done in between customers. They will ignore the customers until there is a line forming, then stop what they are doing to wait on a customer. NO!!! ACKNOWLEDGE YOU'RE CUSTOMER AND SAY HELLO AND TELL THEM YOU WILL BE RIGHT WITH THEM. DON'T JUST IGNORE THEM! It's every time now

On the evening of Friday, November 3rd, at approximately 6:30 p.m., I found myself stepping into the familiar surroundings of the Starbucks located within the Acme store in Centreville, MD. This visit, however, was starkly different from the warm welcomes I’ve grown accustomed to. Instead, I was met with a level of customer service that was not just below par, but deeply unsettling.I approached the Starbucks counter with the usual expectation of a friendly greeting, only to be confronted by an unsettling silence from the employee present—a young woman of Caucasian appearance with dark hair. She seemed preoccupied, and I stood there, invisible to her. With a patient smile, I waited, hoping for a brief acknowledgment that never came. Moments later, another employee, a young white male, passed by without the slightest nod in my direction. It was as if I was cloaked in an invisibility that I neither wanted nor understood.When the woman finally ceased her task, she turned, met my gaze with what I perceived as a dismissive glance, and simply walked away. I received no apology or reassurance that I would be attended to shortly—courtesies I believe are the bedrock of customer service.As a regular patron of this store—where I spend considerable time and money each week—I was confounded. Was this an off night, or was there a more disconcerting reason behind their disregard? Being a black man in an area where the political and racial climate, at times, makes feel more marginalized then ever, I immediately wondered if the color of my skin was the silent reason behind their indifference.Seeking some solace, I reached out to customer service, where I was assured there was no racial intent because the employee in question was Hispanic. However, this did little to quell my unease; being a minority does not preclude one from harboring unconscious biases. While I have no definitive proof to substantiate my feelings, the emotional affect of being treated with such disdain is undeniable.I am left to grapple with the hurt and insult of that evening, pondering the future of my patronage with that specific Acme and Starbucks location. By sharing my experience, I am not seeking retribution but rather some understanding and the hope that this narrative serves as a catalyst for change in how we treat one another, regardless of race, in a space where customer service should thrive.

Clean, well-stocked, friendly staff. Good sales are the reason I shop here, as otherwise the prices are a bit steep. It is also the closest store to me, so in a punch, I am glad they are there.

UPDATE———******************************************I guess putting a complaint in writing and calling to complain will get you the store manager !!!!The manager has graciously offered to deliver my groceries herself. Unfortunately I’m not right around the corner. I did change my star review as they apologized and corrected my order !!!Omg !!!!I have ordered multiple times for home delivery… just once I would like to have all my items delivered with out calling to let them know you missed 1/2 my order !!! Not fair to the second delivery person! As I always tip nicely !!!!Tell me .. is there any way to double check my order before it leaves the store ????

Went in for a birthday cake. Didn't have what I wanted. The lady working in the bakery offered to make the cake was looking for. Great service, good price.Store/ Bathroom were clean. Shelf's were nicely stocked.

I’ve been an Acme shopper for over 20 years. Now, they put in the worst “self service” system I’ve ever seen and then leave only one line open with a cashier.The system is so slow ! It makes you wait and listen to a computer voice tell you what the cost of the item was then it pauses tells you how much you saved if it was on sale then it pauses again before even let you scan the next item. So you can’t even do one item right after another to try to get done quickly you actually have to wait 5 to 10 seconds between each item and then on every third item it tells you to remove on scanned items from the bagging area when there are no on scanned items in the baggy area so then you’re left waiting for somebody to come over !Then worst of all, after I was completely done I realize it doesn’t take cash ,then we wound up having to redo the entire order after going to the only open register.Good bye Acme !It would be different if they passed on the savings from firing all the cashiers but instead they raise the prices of the food on top of firing all the cashiers !

I wish I would of gotten the ray of sunshine that I see everytime i go in there due to situations with ethier my app wasn't working, taken something back but she seems to always be there. Great customer service and i enjoy having our laughs together.

Great grocery store. Always clean and people are friendly. It's great to have a Starbucks in there too!For some reason they always make you bag if you bring your own bags. This discourages people from using reusable bags and I believe this is a bad policy.

The best fried Chicken in the area better than most restaurants and convenience stores great prices Terri the deli lady was awesome and very friendly she makes the best Chicken ever!! and the check out lady Kim Walter was so nice and very friendly the best shopping experience!! I will always go here.

I'd hate to leave a list, but this is my honest opinion...1. The floors looked a bit messy, but not that bad.2. This is a bit more of a personal problem, but the lights are quite bright. But that does mean they were recently replaced and I can understand how you'd see this as a good thing.3. Things are a bit pricey, but if you're okay with that, this is a fine store.Honestly, a nice store overall, give it a visit though and see how you like it!

Nice people. Have self checkout which I like but they keep getting paper bags with no handles. Smaller store but for the size has good selection.i carefully watch sales and use just for you app to save 20 to 30 percent each week.

This supermarket has a good selection and horrible customer service. The deli workers always act like they're doing the customer a favor by waiting on them. There are never enough cashiers, so it doesn't matter if you have 5 items or 50, or if there are 2 customers trying to check out or 20, there is always an inordinate wait. If there's a problem, and there's almost always a problem, management has to be searched for. Today the cashier called for help twice and then had to go look for management while customers waited and waited, and the one over-15-items line that was open got longer and longer. Then they open more lanes. Everybody runs to those lanes except the people who have been waiting the longest. The only people working there who smile and say hello are the ones who know the customer. I have complained to the management twice before about these issues, and every time I take a chance on shopping here, they never fail to disappoint. There are 2 grocery stores in town. Acme has the best selection and the absolute worst service. I won't shop there again unless I have no other options.

Acme, I traveled 1 1/2 hours to get pickles from them. I actually called fist and spoke with Brett, very nice professional man. Once I got there, I encountered only 1 semi-rude man that worked there. Bonnie is an angel, omg.. she stepped in when she didn't have to, she made me feel welcomed, my request was not a bother. Thank you Bonnie. There was also a young man working in the drli section, he as well was very nice and welcoming. Thanks to the young man as well. All in all, it was a good trip and I'm sure I will be returning soon. The best selection of produce in Centreville, with that being said Acme charges a premium over Food Lion but then again, they have self checkouts and the day time restocking isn't nearly as obnoxious as it is at FL.

Since Acme has come under the Albertson's Family of grocers, it appears that they have stepped up their game. The Staff is friendly; the store is neat and clean; and the shelves fairly well-stocked. I know that it is hard to keep many items on the shelves during this pandemic. They can only stock what suppliers deliver; and this is a smaller store. Their seafood department is great.

Very helpful staff. Always asking if you need help trying to find something and is always very polite. The staff here are very friendly!! And if they don’t have what your looking for they will recommend another store to look for the item or tell you that you can go online to their website and see if the item is in stock or to order it. I would recommend this Acme Market location to anyone!!

Great grocery store. Big deli and salad/pre cooked bar. Fruits are fresh. Excellent fresh seafood counter. Large selection. Weekly deals including double coupons. Newly added Starbucks in store within the last 6 months. Pricing is comparable and will match prices.

I like this ACME, staff is friendly. As with most though, aisles are a little crowded. This particular Acme has an incredible seafood and meat section. Bakery is fantastic also.

I went to the Starbucks in this Acme market. I ordered a caffe misto with almond milk, my usual Starbucks drink. It tasted like it was made with old coffee. The barista was very friendly but I am so disappointed in the coffee!

One express line open and one regular. The regular line had 3 InstaCart shoppers with 5 or 6 carts. This may be a good service but not to those of us stuck with more than 15 items.

I shop in this Acme store at least once a week. I like the meats and produce. However, every single time I shop there, I am overcharged for at least one item. I have to scrutinize every receipt and always find an overcharged item. 99 cents here, 50 cents there. I cannot imagine how much profit they are making on people who do not check their receipts. This borders on fraud.
