I have used Mackie's for several years now. I have used it from just a couple screws to using their home improvement service. Something the bigbox retailers lack, personal attention of the owner.

Customer Service and timeliness, is great so far, they are working on a huge project at our house. Communicate very well, reasonably priced. Looking forward to the beautiful creation they have in store for our home soon. We will update reviews post projects with pictures.

Friendly, small town hardware store. They have a decent selection of hardware, tools, supplies, etc. Obviously the quantities are less than the "big" stores, and prices are a bit higher on some things. But, the closeness and service is worth it to me on most things I need.

Mackie's is a great home improvement store for a small town. If I am working on a small project and need something 99% of the time they have what I need. The staff is very nice and helpful just a little pricey for some items.

I can think of over 100 times we're doing work on the weekends,need parts or materials and this place is closed. Rather buy off the little guy than Lowe's and Home Depot...but closing at 1 PM and not even open on Sunday makes you wonder. Don't they realize people do projects on the Weekends ? Guess they don't the business on the weekends....

Nice hardware/lumber yard right in town that has prices that are right there with the big lumber yards. Jeff was knowledgeable and very customer oriented. Will be back there for sure !

Extremely helpful staff, a big selective of items but not a large quantity is available (often only 1 of each item). Only open until noon on Saturday 😦
