I had never encountered a DG Market. I was curious and stopped. Why do we not have one in Delaware?! One stop shopping. The bathroom was atrocious dirty, though.

One of the worst Dollar Generals that I've ever visited! The bathroom smelled like urine and there was no toilet paper!! I give it 2-stars, because the guy at the register was helpful and friendly.

This had to be the best hands down Dollar general I've ever been to. It is basically my hidden gem I am from Maryland Harford county and I was doing instacart and wound up in the area and when I saw it I had to go in. Needless to say that it has fresh fruit steaks meats it looks like a mini grocery store and it has much much more and it's bigger than a normal Dollar general I absolutely love this store.

As ALWAYS I find Pam, Paul, David and Chisty ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT employees, ALWAYS extremely helpful and puts up with this old man’s idiosyncratic ways. I jokingly say Pam Paul and I are the 3 P’s!! - Pam, Paul snd Psycho (me)😅😅

I love this dollar store but there is a certain older woman with short brown hair that I can’t stand. She’s not nice. She’s never friendly. One time my mom and I had to put stuff back and she got annoyed and Another time she got annoyed at me because I had a little bit of change I mean come on. It’s change it spends the same and it wasn’t even a lot. Anyway if you could know her schedule I would avoid this place when she’s working but I know it would be hard to do that. Other than that the other people are very nice and it is a nice store. That lady needs to be fired. I think her name is Pam. I’ve read reviews from others about her too.

A not strictly dollar store, with a surprisingly large grocery section. The store is pretty well maintained and orderly unlike many dollar stores. I wasn't expecting much, but was quite surprised how much I like and use it. Parking is good, and checkout times are reasonable. They have weekend targeted coupons as reward for buying during the week

It was unusual, but the cashier was friendly. However, all the shopping carts were outside..I'm on portable oxygen so it would have been nice to just walk in the door and have a cart rather than rounding one up outside. The lot and outside of building, shrubs, etc. Need a LOT of attention. They are way understaffed.

I really like Dollar General. They carry most essentials. Fantastic prices for kitchen and cleaning items. I also find some of their frozen foods very good. Actually some of their food items like soup are cheaper than name brands and as good or better.This review is for Dollar General in Cecilton Maryland but the same goes for one up in Maine that I frequent.Jeff

It’s a great place to get what you need cheep I have an complaint about a worker there see I went in to buy some smokes handed my I’d over to the employee sorry if I butcher her name but I believe it was crystal and asked to buy three packs of cherry chyanne and she said I wasn’t old enough leaving me to have to run over to rofo to buy smokes which she scared my if and had no problem with me buying the product

Great place to shop for basics and more. From groceries to clothing. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I shop several times a week for bread, cereal and dairy. I always end up with a cart full of snacks and sale items I did not plan for.

Great store but you guys have self check out, so give your employees sick days because they're all coughing up a storm and deserve paid sick days plus this way they don't get us sick who then get them sick again and again.. Pay money to save money dg..

Stopped here after a family camping trip to get my 3 children a gift as is our tradition when the camping trip is over. We always take them to get a special gift from the camp store at the end of our trip. Unfortunately camp store was closed the day we left. Dollar general it was. Waited at the Register for 5 minutes for an employee to even acknowledge I standing there with my 3 children. Employee came around the corner from another isle eventually and stood there staring at me. She wore no company shirt or name tag. So I asked if she worked there. She snapped back that she did still standing at the isle. So I asked if she would ring me up so we could leave. She walked away yelling that i had an attitude and she wouldn't ring me up. Eventually another woman came to the register to ring me whose professionalism wasn't much better. I was highly disappointed at their lack bbn of professionalism and said that my children had to witness such.

This store is great I go there all the time.I'm trying to stay in because of the virus. And I think the world of there employees. All very helpful and Terry the manager I have never seen a harder worker.

Always... talking about everyone, that shops there. The black woman knows all about you're mom, dad, sister, brother, and maybe even you're 3erd cousin. I went one evening, and all I could hear was something, she felt that it was everyone's business to hear. ( Of course talking about someone! ) She is'nt worried about her work, just the what the lastest gossip is. It makes me want to walk right out! Heck with my stuff.

Slowest f-ing service in Cecil County. You stand there and wait 10 minutes to check out because there is only one cashier on duty while every idiot can't figure out how to use their EBT card to pay for their knock off name branded crap. And when they finally decide to open another cashier, they open the one on the far end so the people that have been waiting the shortest get served first. Morons run and work in this store. Morons...

They dont always have what you are looking for and it has that "sketchy" Elkton vibe but if you can get over that just be careful of the pricing. You could pay less by going to WalMart.

Honestly I'm glad this Dollar General is here for the town of Cecilton but the milk is high as hell here! Go to Middletown Walmart, shoot, even Royal Farms down the road is at least a LITTLE cheaper..

It's actually the dirtiest store and parking lot I've ever seen. It's really a shame to see this happen in a small town like Cecilton. I wish the regional manager would do his job and get it cleaned up.
