This Home Depot is relatively well stocked, and the staff at the paint area have helped us a lot. Usually it’s pretty easy to find someone to assist you with something, and when you do they are pretty helpful. Customer service and returns has been a bit slow and laborious, but overall this shop is working hard to serve our community. They have supplied many home improvement projects.

Not necessarily a very tidy depot. Service is variable. Parking is good and easy. The store usually has all your standard stuff. Today, I was looking for a particular item that was difficult to find and this store had it. Always good to have a Home Depot!

I recently hired Home Depot to install an interior front door. My experience was horrific. The customer service, response time, store area, in-store assistance, etc. left little to be desired. I HIGHLY recommend taking your hard-earned resources to Lowe's, or another established retailer. Home Depot, you should really do better of you plan to obtain and retain valuableconsumers.

Ramona at the Pro- Help Desk was exemplary. She was patient and truly kind. She treated my mother and I as if she didn’t have 5 people behind us. She acknowledged EVERYONE, therefore it wasn’t a complaint left. She answered questions, even the repetitive one’s, without a sweat. Great job Home Depot, you’ve got a STAR!!!! I’m really disappointed that Home Depot employees think that they can do whatever they want and not the right thing!! This afternoon I had a return a door and other little stuff and after that I had to do my shopping but this cashier from customer service name: Cynthia cost me all my time that I had planned for Home Depot. The door that I was returning was a unfinished door that means needs to be prep for painting, and she cost me a headache and all my time, just because the door has a marks not a scratch!!! And all her partners supported her and attack me trying to make me look like I am the bad guy!! I was the customer!!!!!! anyway!! It just an advice to be prepared if you go to capitol heights Home Depot, you will deal with a horrible customer service!!!

I ordered a sewing chair online and it was shipped to the capitol heights Home Depot. The pick up process was fast and seamless. They have everything here ! Everything as far as merchandise.I wish they had helpful staff walking around though. Aisles were FULL of inventory and I apparently was followed by their LP/Security and at the front door, in the plant area and at self-checkout. WHY WOULD I STEAL .... they were shaking my previously purchased paint.

One of the worst experiences in "any" store that I've had. Crazy because the management was doing a walk around the store. Horrible customer service experience. No one seemed to be concerned about the job as a whole. Save one cashier that made sure that at least I got to have a completed purchase. Wow! This location has been here for awhile. The store is stocked very well. But the clerks don't have good knowledge about the location of items that you are looking for so your pretty much on your own. Good luck 🤔🚶‍♂️

No electrician on the clock to help with wires. It’s during a work hour and they don’t have all staff. The workers are just chilling around not working and when asked for help they say “I’ll be there” and don’t come.

I went into the Home Depot last night for a few items to finish a home project. After shopping for a while I began to feel a little hot. I sat down and decided it was time to go after gaining my composure. At self checkout, I asked the kind ladies for assistance after explaining I was feeling quite nauseous due to “MTOTM”. One lady kindly scanned all of my items and returned to her post. As it was time to pay and I inserted my debit card, I started to feel light headed as if I was going to pass out. The ladies sprung into action! One helped finish my transaction and collect my purse and items while another assisted me to a seat in front of a cooling fan. They gave me a bottle of water and insisted that I take as much time as I needed. I didn’t get their names but thank you to each of the black queens that stepped in when they saw me in distress. Each of you helped restore my faith in our community a bit more and I will remember your empathy and compassion for a long time. This took place 9/11/23 around 6:30pm-7:00pm EST. I hope their manager sees this and give them the recognition they deserve!

This is by far the worst Home Depot and unfortunately it’s the closest location. I ordered 3 doors (exterior front, storm and patio) a month ago. Bob who helped me with the order never submitted my order for scheduling so I never received a call for scheduling until I called and discovered it was never entered. I ended up being out of town for a funeral during installation; however, someone was there to sign. The installer sent pics only for me to discover that Home Depot provided him with the wrong door. So the wrong door was installed, and the patio door was damaged, as well as the other 3 models like it, so I didn’t get that installed. I tried calling but that was unsuccessful. I had to come in to at least get the ball rolling and with that all that was done was a “note” added to my order. I hate this place. Unorganized to the extreme. I have a hard time trusting these 5 stars on here. Do better!

This is the Worst @Homedepot that I Visited in my life. They don't know nothing about a custumer service. First time stop by someone from pro desk refuse to help me to place a bug order because She dont have enought time. People who is in prodesk don't know what they are doing or what to do. But now I understand because the manager it is a racist and are very rude I was trying to return something and They treat me like I stole the product even when I provided them my receipt.Also I request her information and the cashier information to file a complain and She refused to provide me the informationAnd call the security.I stop by tge home depot almost every single day. If You planing to stop by this home depot don't do it.In general they don't know nothing about custumer service.

I shopped this HD because it was nearby on this day.Found the store parking lot a dirty mess with a lot of freelancers hanging about.The store seemed to be bereft of help. But I did ask someone who work there for the location of a product and got a reasonable answer.We were happy to leave without incident.I was appalled it was sooo bad.It’s nothing like the HD I typically shop.This seem like a dump. Sorry.The store and the parking lot don’t entice me to come there again even if it’s the closest HD.

Bought a pair of washer/dryer for $1850. Good luck trying to get a hold of somebody or spend half an hour to an hour waiting on the phone. They’re either late and miss the delivery window or or they show up in half an hour early at 6:30am in the morning when the windows at 7am. The first time they came so late in the window and no one was responsive or tried to help you after. Then you gotta pull teeth to reschedule and get another delivery window. Literally no calls or messages or email the day before and zero communication. I would not order from Home Depot Suitland/Forestville again. I do have to say the young delivery gentleman with Banegas contracting LLC was nice and courteous and had my machines running properly.

Purchased 25 bags of stones, 30 bricks and 15 outdoor solar lights...2 men working in the same area stood there and watched me as I loaded all those items! Never said...Hello or May I help you...NOTHING! When I go to Lowe's in Clinton, MD, they load the cart and my truck!

Save yourself the stress and go to the home depo in upper Marlboro. We got there at 630 and looked for help for 1 hr. By the time we went to customer service he pause assistancing to help someone else after we wanted for 1 hr to purchase a tiolet in the color bone

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the store. It appeared to be fully stocked on each aisle also. I found exactly what I needed and the self checkout clerk was so helpful because my items were huge and bigger than me. I only had 3 things, but she had great customer service and was more than happy to help me.

I received 5 star customer service from Denise today. I rented a carpet cleaner a week ago and somehow it was never checked back in to the system upon return. I wasn't able to get to the location immediately to resolve this and was subsequently overcharge. Denise worked tirelessly to refund my money after the system seemed to virtually locked my contract. We need more Denise's in this world. 😊

I am very pleased by the excellent service that I received from Tavien and the team today. Prior to that, I’ve had a terrible experience at this Home Depot to the point I resorted placing my order online and avoid going in to the store. The usual wait time is 45-60 min just to place or even locate an item. I understand that we’re in a labor shortage but there should be no reason why an associate cannot direct a customer to the right resource or offer help.
