Came here on Friday 4:26 24 at around 8:49 p.m. It doesn't matter which Big Lots I go to I get the same excellent customer service 10 star service and this door definitely made me feel welcomed, easy to find items and the manager here is absolutely incredible makes you feel like family. I am thankful that the consistency of all the Big Lots Remains the Same whether I go to Maryland, Virginia, Arizona, or California I know I will be treated with utmost respect and efficiency and you have excellent items that I never have to return. I love that

You hit or miss in this store. Not with the selection, that's pretty good but the service can be awesome some days and terrible the next. You never know!

You never know what deal you may find when you’re shopping at Big Lots. Big Lots offers a wide variety of Household products like Home Furniture, Electric Fireplace, Food, Snacks, Home Decor and many other items and accessories. Great atmosphere with helpful and friendly staff.

Pat was extremely helpful in the furniture section. I was looking for an item that was out of stock in another store and she took excellent care of me as soon as I walked into her department. They even gave me tips on assembling my stools. Love them!! Great prices too!

This is a great location, but store shelves are either bare or items are picked over. Went yesterday at 6 pm. to grab some needed items. When I arrived at the entrance, not one and I mean not one shopping cart or hand basket was found. I ended up handcarrying as many items that would fit in my hands to the register. My hands were trying to hold steady two large bags of detergent, along with a jar of peanut butter and other items. Three people were ahead of me in line. I tried remaining calm, hoping my hands wouldn't drop the items. This was a long 15-minute wait.As I stood patiently, I watched carefully everyone entering the store and seeing the look of bewilderment on their faces, as they too didn't see any carts or baskets in view. When it was my turn to be seen by the cashier, I quietly asked her, "Where are the shopping carts?," she replied, " Oh, they're in the parking lot," and she pointed out to me where in the parking lot they could be found. I said, "You can't bring those carts inside?," and she said there was no one available to do so.Attention Management: Please have someone from your store periodically check the availability of shopping carts for customers entering your premises to use and, if necessary, retrieve them from the parking lot. This makes no sense. Shopping carts do not return to the store themselves. It takes a human being to bring them back. Anybody can do it. It is not beneath any employee to go out in the parking and bring those carts back.I was frustrated after leaving the store. The likelihood that I'll return to this particular location is not likely. Again, the location is fantastic, but the customer service isn't.Besides the lack of shopping carts on this particular day (which is usually not the case), the wait time in line is typically slow. Emphasize urgency with the cashiers. Customers don't have all day. Get them in and get them out. Again, get them in and get them out.This Big Lots is not a super big store. You can be hospitable and efficient with customers all at the same time. You don't have to choose one or the other. Thank you for hearing me out. I am not a whiner but an advocate for better customer service in predominantly Black communities. We can do better and should expect better. Thank you.

WORST BIG LOTS. My sister, her co worker and I went to this big lots on 6-8-23 at 8:15 pm. We were treated like we were thieves. As soon as we walked in the store we were followed by associates. Not one but I counted at least four. One guy came to the aisle where we were and pretended to need air freshener. Then it was some dike broad I think she had dreads followed us down very aisle we were in. When it came time to check out, guess who rung us up, the guy who pretended to need air freshener. This was the worst experience I have ever had in a retail store. I understand people steal but every person the comes to the store doesn’t steal. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND YOU SHOULDN’T EITHER!!!!!! They will treat you like a criminal. They all need to be fired for treating their customers like thieves.

At this location it's always a problem with the cashiers. I couldn't find a shopping cart, I walked around the store looking for one, a nice young guy who worked there gave me the one he had.The store had stuff in their to eat with old dates. Also I purchase something with the wrong price on it was supposed to have been more but it was less. The cashier worker was like that's the wrong price I said said well you supposed to honor your price. She was like ok this time, she had a nerve to say to me someone put the wrong sticker on it, that's not the price, they she went and checked the others like I would be that dumb to do something like that. I said your workers put the wrong price.... I really felt some kind of way I said pull the tape . Smh I payed for my things and left out. I want be going back to that location I spend a lot money each time I go... but nomore..

UPDATE: They are ready for Christmas!I love Big Lots stores! You never know what you are going to find in one of these stores.I was at the on Richie Marlboro Road, it is a large store, they appear to need some help. There were too many isles blocked with stockers, boxes and ladders. It was difficult mauvering down the isles with a cart. The isles are too close together.There were too many empty shelves. There were out of Gallons of water, so don't waste your time going there for water.I went there mainly for three items, water, black pepper, and a single screw driver. I only found the black pepper.They have 40% off some halloween and fall deco.They have Christmas decorations out.I could not shop the way I wanted to because my vision was not that good and I was pressed for time. They are worth checking them out during the week.The cashier was very pleasant and concerned about my shopping experience in their store.I will be returning to this location soon for an update.

This is a large store with a good selection. There were plenty of Christmas gifts on sale after the holiday. The store was very clean and organized as well. Everything was clearly marked with the prices or discounted prices and there was a good selection of various items throughout the store. When we needed help, 2 different associates were able to assist us and they were pleasant too. Overall this is a very good store to shop and the savings are good.

I love Big Lots. Just fun trying to find a good deal. This is a pretty new store & shopping center. When it first opened, it was well stocked, neat, clean. The employees that worked there were friendly and helpful; but on this past trip, not so much. It didn't look as clean. Selection was skimpy. The manager had attitude when I asked a question. Disappointed.

Now listen, I wasn't a Big Lots kinda girl...but, baby I AM NOW!! How did I miss this jewel within four walls?? Who knew...I sure did not. I absolutely 💯% love this store. Customer service here is excellent, and so is the selection and price. The store is clean and well organized. I enjoyed my experience here. They are not just trying to make money but making sure you are satisfied and want to come back. Great team work, keep up the excellent customer service skill.

Great location, it's convenient & the staff keeps it organized. The staff is customer friendly & helpful BUT, It ANNOYS Me that 40% of the items I pick up HAS NO PRICE on it. Some items have a lower price than what comes up when you scan the bar code.

Shout out to Pam at the Capitol heights location. My hand mixer went out the night before Thanksgiving. Went online and saw that big lots had it. Got there and didn't see it on the shelves. Saw pam and asked about it and she went in the back and found me one. What a life saver. She was very helpful. ❤️

One of the best wholesale stores around. The cashier's are helpful but rather slow. Some equate good customer service with chatting with customers. Smile, be kind, and maintain a friendly tone is all that is required until you are asked for adsistance, then talking is required. Love the store.

From the minute I walked into the store I experienced excellent customer service unlike any other Big Lots or other store for that matter. Every employee I encountered was very friendly and all extremely helpful. I never thought I would have such a great experience in Big Lots but the customer service was above and beyond. I will definitely go out of my way to return to this location.

Good prices. Store was a mess. No prices posted for a lot of things. Had to get like 10 price checks. Person at register didn't seem to want to verbally interact when I asked questions. I like Big Lots so I'm hoping it was an end of the day holiday blues thing.
