Business had my property for over 5 months. Because I didn’t pick it up within about a week, the owner sent me a text stating she would have to sell my property. When I went in the store to pick it up, I told her she was rude. She cussed at me and after calling security on me tried to attack me while my back was turned. In the process my son got hit with a table that she flung out of the way to try to beat me up. Extremely poor customer service from the owner. Tried to call to find out information and she called me fat and miserable. I don’t understand why she thinks it’s ok to speak to a customer in such a manner. I have been there several times and this is the first time I’ve had such terrible customer service.

Extremely rude and unethical treatment! My family has been nothing but patient and polite with this company when they continue to mess up repairs on tools and taking multiple months to complete a job. A chainsaw we left for their repair has been in the company's possession since May 2023 and it is now almost September. Today we received a text from "Lynn" that the repairs were finished and if we did not pick it up by the end of the week, they would be selling it at their auction. We went later that day and spoke to Lynn who was extremely rude and began yelling obscenities at us and threating to get physical. While leaving, she slammed the half-door into a family members stomach! We went to the police and will be pressing charges. Later, we called the company asking to speak to the owner, were transfered through and we asked the lady's name just to be sure. She got defensive and wouldn't give her name. We realized that it was Lynn from earlier, who is apparently the owner. She then talked about if we were the people from earlier today that she will be filing with the police and we will no longer be allowed on the property. We assured her that they will no longer have our business and that she didn't need to worry about it. She then proceeded to dish out even more insults. I have NEVER seen treatment like this before from any business and am truly disgusted and upset.

Unfortunately I did not listen to ppl who who I asked about getting a riding mower fixed , I wanted it fix, respectfully, professionally. But what I got was charge more money than I expect ,a lawnmower that idles extremely high my battery was overcharged to the point where I had to purchase a new one and I was not happy with the quality of work that was done on a riding mower turns out I had to get a new starter. $578 later , I wanted to bring it back , but I decided I won’t ~ the fact it took them 3 hours to Locate a faulty wire ,the good Lord only knows what I paid for the starter , but lesson learned, should of listen to ppl who tried to warn me , but I’m a person who will give you the benefit of the doubt , now this is only the service department I can’t take anything away from the store. I never received the paper work for what I was charged, they seem to haul azz when I was trying to load the mower on my truck . We were in the business of purchasing a gravely runs about $7500 , I decided not to do it , cause if this is Where I had to pay $75 an hour on labor on a small craftsman took 3hrs lord only know what a gravely would be if I needed serviceI’m sure this review won’t hurt there business it’s the closet thing on this side of town , but I’m willing to travel for good service , will even be happy to pay for it

My go to hardware store in Cambridge. Good selection, great service. Richard, the manager, is particularly knowledgeable and can find the supplies that people need and offers good advice about projects. They have recently acquired some cats, which improve the atmosphere. They sell hardware but also a bunch of other stuff -- its sort of half department store. If you go in and it looks like not a hardware store, it means you are in the department store side and should keep walking.

I just stopped by to pick up a receptical outlet. Not my usual hardware store. I was greeted and helped by a little old man, about my age. He was helpful, pleasant, and completely knowledgeable of his department. In the future I will go slightly out of my way to return there. I would hope this finds it's way back to him and the management. Thanx for the experience!

This is a rare place. Old fashioned service with all the modern supplies. I've driven past this place for 5 year and never visited until today. I went to Ace to get a can of foam insulation and they didn't have any so I came to this store and was blown away! Helpful, friendly staff, neatly stocked shelves and more items than I would have imagined. This is my new hardware store!

Love the feel of this place . Service is always amazing . Staff always helps you find what you need . And most of the time they have the hard to find items even supply houses don’t have . From hardware to shipping my ups packages they always take care of me. Recommend this place all day.

I had keys cut here 10 years ago that never worked. I had a baby and a 5 year old and it wasn’t worth my time to go back. I had keys done somewhere else but continued to shop here. I have shopped at this store for 10 years in the summer and have usually found what I needed and appreciated the variety.I needed new keys recently after moving to a new place and I stupidly went back. I bought 6 keys, some standard, some novelty. None worked. I went back and they were happy to fix the keys and try again. The keys still did not work. On my my 3rd trip I asked if they would consider compensating me for my time and trouble with a $4 can of “Lock Ease” The man that was helping me said he did not have the authority. I asked if there was someone I could speak to about it he sent me to a woman at the cash register. I asked her and she said she couldn’t make that decision. I asked for a manager and she told me there was no one available. I told her they lost a customer. Another young man must’ve heard me say it I came out to inquire as I was on my way to the car. He asked what happened and I told him this wasMy 3rd time have the same keys fixers and asked if the store I would compensate for my inconvenience. He replied no. I said I probably won’t be back and he said, “That’s OK have a nice day.”I went to Ace Hardware right down the road, they could not have been more accommodating. They were nice, respectful, and the best part was the keys worked on the first try. I wish I went there first. It would have saved so much time. It is unfortunate that customer service was not a priority. I cannot support a business that does not value their customers.Ace is the place!

They have just about everything and their prices are great! I've been shopping here for MANY, MANY, MANY years! I have also rented tools from them including a trencher until they sold it. It included the trailer to haul and everything. I have also used their small engine repair business. I don't remember what they fixed for me but I was unable to fix it myself ) and I'm VERY handy but they fixed me right up!

Went to buy a table that they showed a picture of on face book and their website. Explained I was driving 1.5 hours each way and I wanted to make sure that it was the same table. They told me it was the one that they had taken a picture of. It was not, it was a flimsy version of it and different design. When I spoke to owner she cussed me out! Very rude and I will be reporting to the necessary agencies to investigate. I understand mistakes but to be that rude there must be a reason, so let the appropriate agencies decide what is actually going on with their advertising. A simple I'm sorry, we didn't know, sorry for any inconvenience would have gone a long way, not sure why the attitude?

This location rents storage units and they attempted to sell my unit! Luckily I just so happened to go in and make a payment and they had auctioned my unit an hour prior. I managed to BUY BACK my unit from the individual that purchased it. However due to the fact that there was a profit made, they owed me!! Lol but this is the kicker, I go in to have my monies returned to me and the MANAGER, I think her name is Lynn, is beyond ignorant! She argued, argued, argued talking about she is legally blind and all this other nonsense. By Maryland Law it states ON DEMAND, and she wants to argue that no one is going to tell her what to do and she doesn't care what the law says. If I hadn't to of gone in there, I would not have received a check for over $200! I'd tell anyone not to deal with this company especially for a storage unit. Their own contract only sets them up, so they may want to revise it because I'm far from ignorant and can certainly read! They charge initial fees that aren't even in the contract so yea, she even said she'd love to go to small claims court! Lol, really! They would have certainly had to of been paying more than what I received. Thanks for selling my unit, that I purchased back and profited on myself! Lol
