I like to shop this JCP, however today not so much. An employee (young w long reddish blonde hair) was extremely rude and out of line with me. She accused me of putting a shirt back in the wrong place. Ridiculous, really. I tried to explain that I found it where I was putting it back and she wanted to argue with me.She had A Lot of nerve, I couldn’t believe what was happening. I should have insisted on speaking to a manager but I had other places to be. She certainly could use some training because this was unacceptable. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I enjoyed shopping at this store on 9/8/23. They didn't have one item in stock so the lady at the register said I could order it online there at the store & could pick it up. Since I've done this before at other stores I thought ok. My order was estimated to arrive yesterday. It was cancelled yesterday unknown to me with no communication prior whatsoever. When I called the store this morning, I was told that because "the store" didn't receive the package within 7 days it was cancelled automatically & I was refunded the money. Hmm. strange in my book. I've never heard of such a thing. This was told to me in such a no-xenón attitude.

Terrible customer service especially form the manager on duty.Went to checkout at the register with a shirt that was 40% off. It didn't ring up that way so they asked to see the sign. The sign reads the name of the shirt and the original price of the shirt. Manager says fine print says "other items as ticketed" on the sign. I explained the sign specifically says the name of the shirt and is sitting under the sign. She says any reasonable person would know it wasn't on sale. She hovered for the rest of the transaction and was getting very aggressive. I asked for her name and she grabs her name tag on her shirt and proceeded to put it in my face.All I tried to do was get what the sign stated and instead I was met with disrespect and aggressiveness for such a small thing.Management needs some house training and learn how to treat others!

JC Penney overall I would give a 4. The one by me I gave a 3 simply for the fact that they didnt have a lot of choices when I was just there. The boys section is half the size of the girls (I hate that). Its also cheaper online because I have coupons for online only. The best coupon today was an extra 15% off. I also always say they are a year or two behind in styles.

Little expensive but have picked up a few nice items on mark down. Doesn't have a wide selection of larger sizes; however, they do have a wide selection of small sized clothing. They have a nice selection of jewlery. Employees have always been very friendly and helpful.

I went to JC Penney on yesterday 1/22/23 to purchase a hat. Upon entering the store I encountered an employee and asked her if there were any hats available, she immediately stopped what she was doing and took me to some hats on the rack and to my chagrin, I found the hat that ai was looking for she also took me to another section of hats I informed her that she was a great help as I found the hat that I was looking for. Kudos to the employee that helped me.

I really wish they went by their store hours posted on the front door. (“Temporary Hours “) I do not want to be on of those customers that walk into a store 10 minutes before they close. I just needed to pick up one outfit, but it’s okay I spent my money elsewhere. I walked in at 5:50 thinking that they closed at 7 on a Monday. I was wrong they closed at 6, at least that’s when they turned the lights out. I picked out 2 outfits that I was going to try on when the lights went out. I left the outfits on a random rack and left. Please just update your sign, I was truly embarrassed and would not have entered if I had known you closed earlier than the sign posted.

Love their bargains. Love the Sephora store inside and their Salon where I have got my hair done as well as my daughter's. This salon has very good hair stylists, although I hate to tell which is mine as she has a large clientele following already!

Maria was awesome! She assisted me in shopping in the big and tall section, which had a variety of apparel, accessories and shoes as well. She walked me thru the process of applying for a JCPenny credit card. This was my first time at this location & I am very impressed with there big and tall section, you will not find nice looking apparel in the area. Definitely will be returning here a lot more. Did a walk in appointment at the hair salon for my toddler. Everyone there was so nice and Cindy was absolutely amazing! She fit us in and made the best of a bad home haircut by big sister, and Rosie loooves her hair! Thank you!!

The JCP is small but that's expected in a town this size. The sales are great. I was able to purchase my daughter 4 outfits (jeans and nice tops) for $80. The sales clerk was super nice. There were definitely more employees than customers but it was a weekday. Also, you probably wont need this option, but they accept checks.

This location has the friendliest associates. I really enjoy shopping here. The sales are usually very good and any associate that helps me will assist me in getting the biggest bang for my buck. I highly recommend this JCP location.

Has gone downhill since they installed that huge Sophora cosmetics part.Nobody around here wants overpriced cosmetics or bath and body stuff.Very overrated.The women's department is awful since the change. Very limited inventory .Kohl's is so much better!

I expect the store will be closing within the next 12 months store was very messy nothing was organized every aisle you could not get your cart through. Nothing was folded on tables many items were laying on the floor. The sale signs were very deceiving The section with appliances and luggage is a lawsuit waiting to happen get the right person in there to trip and it’s over.The store was not busy very few customers employees were mostly standing around chitchatting. It would take very little time to keep his story straight and organized know once interested no one’s telling them do it I won’t be going back anytime soon.Let’s not even discuss the bathroom it was disgusting I will say there were no stalls with toilet paper. Do you have a small toy section now with toys stacked on the floor another liability could not turn around in there this would be lawsuit heaven

This has been maybe my second time in jcp salon, but I must say each time the service has been great! My stylist went above and beyond and my hair turned out awesome! There are many different stylist. So I do not believe nothing can not be done. I got crochet braids, great style for natural girls looking to protect their hair!

The young ladies were so helpful when it came to locating and helping me narrow down the gift that I purchased for a co worker Secret Santa gift.I got a great price and had fun while shopping and it was very helpful to have other opinions to help narrow down my selection to find the gift. The ladies were so helpful and patience with me! I hope to see thoses nice ladies on my next visit. Great Customer service, pleasant workers. Very disappointing that jcpennys has turned into what looks like good will. The back wall is overwhelming if I wanted to shop at ross I would have been there. This store no longer caters to the right age groups. Its young or old. Its ALWAYS hot in this store. I try to shop in the store instead of on line to help support . But now I go in there for Sephora only. Great customer service on every employee.

Don't order online. It took forever for the package to arrive. Once it did the store never called. I went to the store to find the package had arrived but was missing items. Amazon is much easier and timely. It took several weeks and with no timeline available for the remaining item.

I save so much money, shopping here. I was a huge Walmart and Old Navy shopper for clothes, but I am finding better deals on better made apparel in every department. Most importantly, if you have teens or men in your home with small waste sizes, Penney's is absolutely top notch. This includes homecoming and semi formal clothes. If they don't have it in store, the staff is able to order it and deliver to store (free) or ship to your house. The store is also more peaceful. No harsh lighting or loud music spinning up your kids.

With the change that have been made to this store. Clothing doesn't seem and feel of good quality material. Seems as if the clothing is leftovers from a different store. It's sad. I lived shopping there before.I most likely will not return.

Derick the store manager was beyond a lifesaver. My boyfriend and I don't know the first thing about men's dress suits and he helped measure my boyfriend and figure out his size as well as helped us figure out what shirt and tie matched the suit. My boyfriend has a hard time finding clothes that fit and I was impressed they carried sizes that big. Camryn the cashier was also very helpful and knowledgable, too.

First placed we looked for my daughters coat on black Friday. We found the perfect size, color and price. $89 coat for only $17! Less than what we thought it would've been.
