I love Belk, in California MD. They always have lots of options. Their sales people are always very pleasant. Store is always very clean. The sales associates are always promoting their coupons and finding ways for you to save money.

The manager of this Belk, Martha fires really good employees 2 weeks before Christmas. It's pretty disgusting if you ask me. This employee had exceptional sales and was an extremely hard worker. Shame on you Martha, next time why don't you do it yourself instead of having others do your dirty work. Merry Christmas 🎅

Poor Customer Service! The cashier in the men's department was completely confused by me paying with cash. My total was 33.39 for one pair of pants. I gave her 100.39 and she forgot to put in the change and then was unable to make change because she could not do it without the cash register telling her how much to give back. So a second cashier came over , same thing, could count back to make change. She then tried to do a return instead of a void and still could make correct change and became upset with me because she kept trying to give back the wrong amount of change. She tossed the receipt at me and stormed off. I told the store manager but she was too busy with her phone and said she would look at the store camera. This is not how you treat a good customer. I've shopped at Belk for years and I've never been treated so poorly. The manager and cashier both need a refresh in customer service and a class on how to make change. 2-19-22

I stopped in belk because I’m visiting family from North Carolina we always make a stop there but this time it was different wasn’t anyone to help I went to the shoes no one was there I only saw someone in women’s at the register I like my belk so much better I wonder why they have so few employees is the store shutting down it’s been going around

I am in the middle of returning a marble cutting board that was.poorly packaged and broke by the time I arrived home. The sales clerk never wrapped it in any protective newspaper or paper. That was sloppy and uncaring. It showed you could care less if the marble broke. Not sure I would rate this as exemplary customer service.

They have a discount on clothes all the time. They are priced high and then they give you a discount. It ends up being the same as other stores. They don't carry "new balance" shoes any more. Otherwise They have moved the store around and could store things in one place instead of seeing it scattered around in different sections.

Did not look well cared for and very few associates on floor. Reasonable assortment of goods for a low tier store. Store was hot and stuffy so I didn't linger even though I went with a plan to buy. I am a regular belk shopper with an Elite card. We were visiting family in area. Charlotte, NC stores are my usual locations.

The store is beautiful, the Staff was very friendly, courtesy and extremely helpful.I visited again today, my experience was extraordinary, Greg was so pleasant and very helpful.I will continue shopping at Belk in California, Maryland and recommend to my family and friends. 👍

Bell has the best employees that I've found anywhere , they egar to help. Belks, is a nice department store. However they like a lot of department stores are pricey. You have to wait on sales to buy clothes etc or better yet clearance sales. Of course you wouldn't have to do that if the clothes weren't already mark too high to begin with. I don't generally shop at Belks but I had a gift card.

Friendly staff, generally light lines at checkouts. Selection is pretty wide unless you are a big or tall guy then you have only a small selection to work with. Make sure to bring those coupons or you may be in for a bit of sticker shock.

Belk is a store that I love. No matter where they are located they never let me down. Everything in the store us beautiful and their sales are very good. They carry the most beautiful clothes and a wide range of sizes.

If you are looking for men's clothes...look elsewhere. They have very little. If you are looking for women's clothes...get the app and rake in the discounts. Only three stars because I want more selection for men's clothes.

So, I'm not sure who they are. But it was two ladies at the make up counter today, one with red hair and other with black, they're the sweetest. And the lady who helped me pick out a wallet was a sweetheart as well.
