Usually well stocked but I agree with the last review, nearly every single time I have been in there within the last few months the meat section is disgusting. The trays the hold the chicken and whatnot are full of crusty blood and slimy liquid. How often are those actually cleaned? This can’t be upto health standards…. Gross dude.

The store can't keep up stock with the business it does. When I do instacart here on a 20 piece order there's always about a third of it that is unavailable. I wonder how much sales they lose from not having items available. For the most part, pretty friendly staff. If you can come across one of them, there's only ever one person at the register.

The selection was surprisingly diverse. Prices were competitive on items like orange juice and strawberries. Self checkout is convenient. I will be going back!

I’m updating my listing - I gave this Aldi 5 stars 2 years ago, and now I wish I could give them 6. They’ve added self-checkout registers in addition to the staffed ones, s now there’s never a live anymore.

I am an Aldi nerd and this is one of the best locations around for the product availability in comparison to the ads. It is also about The Best around for the highest standard of Aldi employees in this area. I can say that with a fair basis of knowledge from a few item searches I've been on. The pool search alone to me to eight different stores in one day. Thank you guys for making each week a fun shopping adventure to find everything I didn't need but had to have.

I went to the California MD store tonight. That place was FILTHY. THE meat section was COMPLETELY CONTAMINATED with bloody meat juices the entire way from the chicken down to the pork. It was disgusting. My hands stink from picking up a chicken that was soaked in whatever leaked out everywhere. There was no one there or seemed to be aware. The produce area was really dirty as well. That meat section has to be a safety issue. I'm not coming back. If I had my phone with me I would've taken pictures.

The produce is always molding and squished, and the staff just throw things around without care. I understand they are not paid enough amd over worked and this stems beyond them. Its difficult because this is the only affordable place for groceries in the area but is always a bad experience.

4.5 Stars: Good bargains on items are a plus. Stock is somewhat limited, but pretty consistent. Happy to see same brands as the Aldi stores in Germany. Pay attention to the parking flow as its particular (left turn and clockwise around the lot). New Self Checkout option makes shopping at ALDI a plus.

Love their prices, especially their fresh fruit! When available they had Bing Cherries at $1.99 a pound compared to the other markets at $5.99 a pound.

Aldi has been my favorite place to shop since we moved to the area 2 years ago. I don’t know if I will give my business to this location anymore. Today I was told my autistic 4 year old was not allowed to be in the back of the cart, as it was their discretion when loading groceries. I didn’t have that much, and he fit in the cart with the groceries as I was shopping. I had him there for his safety, as he elopes. The female manager on duty was very rude about it, and the cashier refused to give me her name, and said it was against aldi policy to give that info out. If she had asked nicely instead of demanded I wouldn’t be as upset.

The food was fine good prices as usual. The service however, was poor. Staff were yelling at customers to make two lines though they don't specify were the actual lines start. I could certainly accept the guidance of what they want for the line, but the two associates, literally yelling at customers, was absolutely obnoxious and grossly unprofessional.

My only real complaint is the stress of trying to load groceries onto a conveyor belt faster than Aldi's cashiers can ring them up. 😅 Because they are not playing.This store is always clean and organized, with great low-priced options including on produce and meats. Lots of fun seasonal things and imports, as well as a decent selection of gluten-free foods.Yes, you need a quarter to unlock a shopping cart. You will get a quarter back when you return your cart at the end. Bring your own bags or a laundry basket to put your groceries in for the drive home or you will have to scrounge for empty boxes in the store or pay for paper bags-- these are not horrible options either though, it happens! 😉

Annabelle is such an amazing person who is down to earth ! She assisted me with my instacart order. Don't forget a quarter for the carts (you get it back) and your bags. You can buy paper bags or get free boxes to carry items.I like the store it's small but prices are okay.Please list what's in the row! I don't care if it's just posted when you first come in the door I could take a picture of it. So if say I'm looking for items I don't frequently get and I don't know where they are, I have to track down one of the three employees that are on duty that shift to ask! If possible I would love to be able to check stock/ prices like BJ's and target with their apps. And I don't mean instacart because I know that they upcharge items.What they did have in stock the prices where even higher, and when checking prices in store with BJ's, Weis, or other local stores and they cost more than for the store brands of same type of items. Still can't get my full list, stuff is always out of stock.Please, please, PLEASE fix your stocking issue. Unlike Target or BJ's or other stores I can check stock online or do store pickup. I used to do 80% of my shopping here. Now it's going to be - hey I got a few extra minutes let's see what they have in stock today.6/23 yet again - almost everything on sale gone! No fake rice a Roni in chicken, only 3 boxes of Beef and several new flavors. Why does Aldi's keep discontinuing items that I buy the most or at least that's what people that work there tell me when I ask. Still skipping fruit way to many with mold or something fuzzy growing on the fruit/ container. Prices not competitive on fruit / veggie also.Still waiting to get everything on my list in one trip.

Really great prices on produce, runs about 2-3 dollars cheaper than Walmart currently. Not too busy but they only had one cashier and they get your groceries scanned super quickly. I realized as I parked that I forgot a quarter for the shopping cart but there were plenty of baskets that still had the quarters which was nice.

As much as i would love to 5 star this place, I'm afraid I can't. They often are out of stock of a lot of things that i need. The fruit and veggies selection could be expanded a bit. And sometimes the workers aren't always the nicest. Overall it is a 4/5 for me. Thanks!

Aldi's is one of my favorite places to shop for quality household food essentials. Really like the ability to get in and out quickly. Employees are always helpful. If you see something you like stock up or it might not be there the next time! Always a good deal to be had. The remodel store in Hollywood, Md is really nice. The added produce is a plus.

Best prices! This location is a well-maintained store with speedy and professional service. Of course, the downside when compared to other grocery stores is a lack of options. I tend to buy my food staples at Aldi and visit another store on the way home for anything Aldi doesn't carry.

I love this store. The products here are almost always cheaper than other grocery stores by 2 or 3 times. Their brand is just as good if not better than other named brands. The return policy is great as well so if you don't like it then no problem. The checkouts are the fastest I've been through. If you're looking to save money off your grocery bill then this is the place.

Prices better than you could imagine! Bring your own bags, as well as a quarter - to "rent" a shopping cart and you'll find foods and a number of sundry items at rock bottom prices. But be aware that specialty foods rotate so there is always something new, and possibly something you can no longer find. You take your cart through a very quick check-out but then you must take your cart to a designated table area to pack your own bags. But if you forget bags, no worries, because they sell them at a cheap price. Aldi's keeps their prices so low by making it a "do it yourself" shopping experience! Lots of parking and easy to access handicapped parking.

Prices are great, you can stock up on everyday items for way less here. Employees are friendly and the store is always clean. The organic line of products are awesome and way cheaper than other places. They have a decent selection of produce. On our last visit, we purchased over 3 pounds of seedless grapes for less than $3.

There aren't enough wonderful things I can say about Aldi's. Good prices and friendly people make this a must! The store brand they carry is actually really comparable on a lot of their stuff and I enjoy the variety of snacks they have available at unbelievable prices. Make sure if you want a cart you bring a quarter. It's like renting it, because you get the quarter back at the end of your visit.

The delivery order was incomplete. There was no record of my order so I could not rate, review, or adjust the tip. Aldi stores have unlisted phone numbers (really) so you cannot call the manager. All so they can keep prices low. Never have these problems with Walmart!

This is a newly remodeled Aldi's. It usually stays stocked and always clean. Very good customer service. There's plenty of parking too.

This is honestly the best grocery store in the area. The selection is a bit lower than most places but the prices are definitely unbeatable. They are almost entirely store brands, but the quality of them is very comparable. Definitely better than the Wal-Mart store brand. You need a quarter to use a cart and bring reusable bags when you come here. It's still definitely 100% the best grocery store in St. Mary's County.
