This will always be our first stop for our English riding gear and tack. Large assortment of both new and consignment items. One of the best parts about this place is the staff. My daughter was getting apparel for her first show, and they were incredible. They worked with her to find everything that would be the best fit. And they are very kind, knowledgeable, and patient. They definitely make you feel welcome.

Went with my daughter and granddaughter who are entry and beginner level riders taking lessons from 1 to 3x per week. They were looking for affordable riding tights for their lessons. Dover was a bit pricey for first timers. Then Bingo! Maryland Saddlery hit the target for better quality at a better price! Both got 2 pairs for much less than one at Dover. Happy gals!

Love this store...huge selection of saddles, boots, bridles, blankets, show clothes and accessories. I never leave without a purchase! It's also in an absolutely gorgeous area!! Obsessed with the "gray horse"! Lol!

I live in Texas and was looking for a specific saddle pad that has natural fibers that I had used with an exercise saddle when I worked with thoroughbreds. Either I couldn’t find it in the United States or it was ridiculously priced. Maryland saddlery not only had this particular type but it didn’t cost an arm-and-a-leg, so this will now be one of my regular searches when seeking tack! Thanks a bunch!

I just had a wonderful experience at this shop! The customer service was exceptional and very helpful in assisting me find what I was looking for. The store is very clean and everything is nicely labeled. I will certainly be back again and highly recommend going here for any equestrian needs! Especially if your looking for a good deal

The employees here are the nicest people. One lady even took the shirt off the mannequin to get me the size we needed! I went in for a shirt to match my saddle pad, but we left with a matching saddle pad, ear bonnet, shirt, hair net, riding leggings, and stall guard. It all together cost about $50 more than I was budgeting for the 1 shirt I was planning to buy. I love this place!!!

Took my stepdaughter there to get some boots, a helmet, and a pair of gloves. The lady working there was very kind and very good with kids. She knew what we were looking for and didn't try to upset us on anything. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Always a great place to shop but be very wary of their consignment policies. There is no transparency - they assign the price with no input from you and then take 50%. If you select you want a check rather than a store credit you then have to email them separately that you want a check - or they just keep your money I sent my first email either late April or early May and just got paid the end of July after sending a second email and making several phone calls.Update: I was very pleased that my review had a very quick response and an apology for the length of time it took to receive my payment. Their staff went above and beyond to make things right and supplied me with all the documentation I had requested. I was told they would be making some changes in how consignments are handled to prevent such problems going forward.

This is a vey beautiful and the most welcoming little town in Maryland. Every single person I met in this town welcomed me with a smile, from the Veloccino Bike and coffee shop, Butler Store and L, the U.S. Post Office, Butler Corner Clothing, and Maryland Saddlery. This town is extremely small, and you can walk from one end to the other in a matter of 5 minutes. P.S. no sidewalk. The town was created in 1821.

The staff is always so warm and friendly! My daughter and I truly enjoy when we have to take a trip across town to Maryland Saddlery because we know they’ll have what we need and will go out of their way to provide us with outstanding service! I am happy that I found this place. They have a women’s apparel store across the parking lot too that I have to be sure to visit, because I can only imagine the quality of their merchandise. Kudos to Maryland Saddlery for their business model and wonderful demeanor as soon as you walk through the door!!

Always a great selection of new and used items!! Was able to grab a pair of used paddock boots for my daughter since she hit a growth spurt and her old ones were too tight. And these boots I bought are in amazing shape!!

Very disappointed. I went there today to buy a blanket for my horse. There were many people in the store and I don't expect that they drop everything to help me. So, I waited for about 10 - 15 minutes; then, a sales person came along, totally ignoring me, but I still asked her, where they have horse blankets. I had the impression that I was getting on her nerves, ("how dare you to ask me, when I am selling something far more expensive instead of a horse blanket"). She just showed me the way to the blankets, and I am sure somebody else (may be more professional??) would have said something, such as "I'll be right with you", but there came nothing out of her mouth. The selection was terrible, there were only a few blankets left in sizes that they probably don't sell too often. Nobody of the other employees seem to care about me as customer. Guess what: that was my last visit there. If you don't belong to the hunter/jumper world, don't go there. You don't belong there and you're obviously not welcome.
