The “floating” pharmacist that was on duty when I was at CVS in Burtonsville on April 2, 2024 between 4 pm and 7 pm was rude and lacks customer decorum. She should not be dealing with the public and gives CVS a bad name. I hope to never encounter her again if I ever have to fill a prescription.

My experience with store 1461 was great, they went above and beyond to help me solve my issue with my father’s prescription. I really appreciate the pharmacists and technicians at this store, they always help me out every time I’m come in.

Had a great experience with this CVS! I'm sorry to see all the negative reviews. I didn't deal with the pharmacy but I found the management to be upbeat, friendly and helpful. I came in and right away asked an employee for help finding the needed item. The employee turned out to be the manager (Workman) who said he liked my energy, and helped me find the item. Selection was small and Workman even gave me a sales pitch about how the item could meet my needs. When I went to the self checkout, the item rang up much higher than it had been advertised for on the rack. I wasn't able to locate the manager and because I was in a hurry, bought the item at the higher price. I returned about an hour later to ask for a discount of the difference in price. Workman was no longer on duty but when I explained the situation to the new manager (Paul), he refunded me the difference and then noticed a coupon on my original receipt that could be applied to the cost of the item. So basically I received the item almost for free. Both managers were friendly, helpful and courteous. Thank you for taking care of your customers at the Burtonsville CVS!

The pharmacy is not only the worst pharmacy ever but also the worst business. I am only speaking of the pharmacy. There were two decent employees there for a very long time but now they are even gone.

Terrible experience. It may be just a result of overwork; the pharmacy staff is just plain rude. From receiving your Rx, they make you feel unwelcome.Forget about waiting for your prescription. For one single Rx item, I was told to come back in two hours. I returned three hours later, it was not even started. What is disappointing is not the just the slow pace or the wait, the pharmacy staff didn’t even get bothered. They take this as normal and customer frustration doesn’t bother them at all. What a job!

Waited outside for 30 minutes at drive through for them to open back at 2pm. They open and tell me they can’t service me through drive through. I informed them I am disabled… showed them my handicap tag. She said they can’t help. There are no signs in drive through. They helped the person after with a Covid test through drive through. Go inside with difficulty. Only to have to wait in line… sitting on floor so I didn’t pass out. Waited another 40 minutes inside. Truly poorly managed and don’t care for their customers. Hate when I am forced to use them. Forgot how they are.avoid if possible!

This location can’t seem to get anything right . Sent me txt to inform prescription is ready but can never find it when I show up and proceed to ask me to wait 15-20 minutes while they prepare a “new” one . There’s always long lines no matter what time a day I stop by . No one there seems to have any sense of urgency or care for it’s customers .

This CVS pharmacy is horrible! My doctor called in a prescription on Tues at 11am. I went to the store on wed at 5pm and was told the order was not yet filled and I could wait 20 minutes. After 30 min I asked about my prescription and was told I needed to get back in line and ask. I waited another 10 min in line to find out my prescription had still not been filled. Meanwhile several people waiting before and after me had their prescriptions filled even after not being filled when they originally showed up. This pharmacy is slow and poorly run. The pharmacy managers only response was that she didn’t know why my prescription wasn’t filled when the cashier requested it. I ended up waiting over an hour for my prescription that was called in 36 hrs prior. Go anywhere else if you don’t want to waste your time!

Took my Covid vaccine there - first shot went wonderful with manager actively directing people and was very pleasant- second shot was just opposite. Crowded, no order and everyone were next to each other- scary experience.

I love the pharmacy at this location. The staff is very helpful and they don't rush you. They actually listen to customer questions and provide useful information. You get a small town, country feel when dealing with the pharmacists.

I came in and was in need of a refill for testing strips there was three ladies in the back said they would be with me in 5 minutes, after waiting another young lady named Elizabeth came along and asked if we needed help, one of the ladies in back proceed to have an attitude and said I already told them I will help them. After all that she comes over ignores us and helps someone to the side of knowingly that we were there first, I always hear stories at this cvs pharmacy about the same people in there, smh if it wasn’t for Elizabeth stopping to help saying we were here first I promise you I’ll turn around if I see those other 3 ladies.

The customer service at this location has gotten really bad it take me about 20 minutes to get my prescription at the pick up counter they do not have the drive through window open for prescription pick up the lines are to long for counter pick up only one clerk is working the pickup counter if you all don’t improve the customer service at this location you will be losing customers

This place is the worst. The pickup line always has at least 10 people waiting, and only 1 line open. If you call you will be on hold at least 25 minutes, and they frequently just hang up on you. Avoid if possible.

As far as I am concerned, the CVS pharmacy is a complete disaster. I think the Management in should be ashamed of themselves. Worst customer service imaginable. They never even answer their phone when I call. The comments being made on the Burtonsville page in Facebook largely support my review.
