This has to be the worst pharmacy with the most incompetent staff. I have been here 3 times today and they still do not have my prescription ready. I have waited in horrific lines - 7-10 people in line each time I have been here today. Zero sense of urgency. Instead of telling me that the RX was restocked because we didn’t pick it up in time, they told me there was no prescription. I had to leave the line to call the primary care. I have spent hours in this pharmacy today.DO NOT COME HERE!!!

I called CVS Burtonsville, MD on Thursday told them I was going out of town and would pick up my meds on Monday morning. I received a Text from CVS on Sunday and told me to pick up my meds today. When I called them after receiving the text. I was told to pick them up today or my prescription would be cancelled. I rushed home from Ocean City. I went to the Burtonsville CVS. As I Picked up my meds the person that checked me out at the pharmacy asked me to check some items on the screen. I told her I didn't know or wasn't sure what to do? She told me to just check no, just check decline, as I did everything she told me what to do I asked her what I was doing? She told me don't worry about it. And CVS was not going to Text me about My refills. This person that checked me out had Very Poor Customer Service and was RUDE in how she explained/didn't explain what she was having me do? Why I was declining everything? Makes a person (a Senior/ and Veteran) on Cardiac meds look at other options for getting meds. My info: R.P. Laurel MD

This CVS is the slowest pharmacy on the entire east coast. I have NEVER, in decades of living here and being occasionally forced to do business with these morons, seen them fully staffed. Half the time they tell you your stuff is ready, then when you show up, they can't find it and tell you to come back later. They have a drive thru that's been either out of order or simply abandoned since before the pandemic. Of course they wouldn't have the staff to run it anyway.How do they even stay in business?!?!

Pharmacists set their own hours for when they want to give out vaccines. The CVS pharmacy website times are not useful because the pharmacy will decided when they feel like seeing you. I had to waste an entire hour waiting because the pharmacist for her own reasons decided she didn’t feel like giving out vaccines till an hour after I had been waiting.

Strictly for the pharmacy but bad customer service, unnecessary long waits, constantly making errors, and the CVS mangers are rude. They do NOT prioritize their customers, sometimes they have the multiple in the back and one on the register with a line of 5+ people so you get sucking waiting for at least 15+ minutes Or there’s either no one that day and your stuck waiting for hours. They also just leave as soon as you get to the line to run off and leave you for another good 10 minutes . Also are always losing my information and I constantly have to call the insurance company to fix it every other visit. The manager also doesn’t actively try to help you just tried to get rid off you and ignore complaints.

Chronically understaffed, long lines, prescriptions are never ready for pickup, if they even enter them into the systemI called and requested a refill. System recognized the prescription says pick it up tomorrow, nothing ready not even in the system.

Store has broken front doors , the ceiling is falling apart, the back of the store is in disarray, there low stock on most items, and drive through is broken. All of these issues have been present since or before October 2022! Also when scripts are ready for pickup there is consistently a line so the wait is 20-30 normally. And on top of all this the store is dirty!

This review is STRICTLY for the pharmacy. The worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. If you try calling, it takes them over 10-15 minutes to answer the phone. The line to wait for your meds can get ridiculous as they don’t have enough brain cells to have two people work a register, but just one. Also, they closed down the drive through window line. I don’t know when or how long it’s been closed, but at least a few weeks. Furthermore, most employees at the pharmacy don’t have the best bedside manners. If you want an amazing pharmacy in the area, I suggest Giant which is in the same parking lot. They answer the phone immediately and they also will deliver your meds to the curb while you wait in your car.

Made a minute clinic appointment online and drove 20 minutes there not feeling well. This location does not have a minute clinic or provide any covid testing but the website allowed me to make an appointment and show up. Not sure if I blame the location or CVS. Then the next day the minute clinic app function was down for upgrades to hopefully remove defunct locations from the appointment scheduler.So we were there for no reason and had to book another place. Then to make it worse, my elderly aunt (who had 4 adult kids who each grew on her bladder) had to use the restroom and she said the bathroom walls were covered in colorful bodily fluids. What does it say when people dispensing medication and helping sick people are using such a disgusting bathroom? What germs are on their clothes while they tend to sick people and their meds? Whole place is unclean.

The front staff is always polite but wished the drive through was operational. It's sometimes hard to walk & the drive through assists me to get my medicine a little easier.

I would not recommend this pharmacy to my worst enemy. I have tried giving them the benefit of the doubt but am continuously extremely disappointed. Rarely is my prescription ready even when I receive multiple texts that it is available for pick up. When they “expedite it”, there is no difference in pick up time and it still takes a day at least. The people behind the desk are rude and cannot be bothered to provide basic customer service. I was told they are “just absolutely swamped” and the guy behind the desk, who appeared and smelled stoned by the way, pointed to the line of people as well as the mess of medications on the counter. I understand the demand is there, i have worked customer service positions in the medical field. However, maybe if the staff actually worked on the prescriptions rather than gossiping and standing around, things would actually get done. I have also had prescriptions that are NOT mine (never taken or even heard of for that matter) filled and charged to my insurance when I did not even pick them up. The employees also could not answer why they were under my name, what they were for, or how to go about fixing their error. I witnessed an older man upset because he also received messages (which he showed the staff) that his pain meds for cancer treatment were ready, which, they weren’t. What made it despicable was that EVERY staff member started laughing at the situation openly instead of addressing the problem, and then went back to leaning against the counter and talking about their kids. Shame on them.

This cvs has really gotten worse the customer service is terrible in the pharmacy they have closed the drive thru window which made a big difference when it came to getting customers in and out the pharmacy has well as faster service at the counter inside the store iam disabled and ask when will they be reopening the drive thru and was told they will not be opening it back up which there is nothing wrong with it the customer service inside of the pharmacy has gotten so bad that the lines start at the pharmacy counter and is backed up to the aisle going out of the store they have three register only one clerk on the register and the other clerks are filling prescriptions and they send no other clerk to help with back up they also text me telling me that my prescription is ready for pick up when I arrived at the pharmacy after waiting in a long line that my prescription is not ready which is very frustrating after standing in the line for almost 20 minutes the customer service at this pharmacy is very frustrating and poor customer service and management doesn’t even do anything to rectify the problem that exists at this store they need to change the management and employees that work in this pharmacy or shut it down I will be getting a petition started and take it to our community council member if things don’t change

Is the whole scheme with all the coupons to offset the high prices listed on the shelf really worth the cost of customer burn out in not wanting to deal with it all? Why shop at CVS if you don't have your wad of CVS coupons with, or the time to figure them out like what the cover, are they expired. I had the tip of my finger amputated, I needed some more big Band-Aids to cover up the post-op resulting wound. I had to get down on the floor to read the labels , read the prices, and then sat there and pondered if I could use a coupon for two different boxes of one inch bandaids, the last ones 6 could find. I also had a coupon for supplements, when I went to the aisle that had them I couldn't even see the bottles on the shelf because they were covered up with price tags on the shelf above! I know you all lowered the height of your shelving so to provide better security to see who is walking around the store and to prevent theft, the downside is the shelves in a narrow and low and it's hard to see the items jammed together and read the huge price tag hanging everywhere. I finished up by shopping getting some almonds cuz I had a coupon for nuts, had to leave the teller and go back and switch item cuz the actual prices meant I didn't meet the $10 minimum to use the coupon. The chips I bought to use the $4 full price coupon, turns out they expire next month reading the bag when I got home. Wonder how much of your food stock, just sits there gathering dust. A friend says her retired uncle enjoys dumpster diving behind his local CVS, especially when the holidays change and the over priced seasonal candy items are thrown away, to make shelf room for the next items to go unsold and to eventually be thrown away. I guess management will never see this.

All of the staff are very thorough. The pharmacists on duty always are responsive and provide assistance with prescriptions. The estimated time for prescriptions has always been on time.

Scheduled Covid 19 vaccine. I understand that they were behind because the vaccine can in late and was frozen. The lady giving the vaccines was very rude. When I asked about my card getting signed, she said I would get an email and was nasty that I even asked. Never received my email.

I had to wait for over 40 minutes beyond the scheduled time though there was no one on the queue.Besides the nurse doesn't have the necessary information before hand and was very argumentative.

Love this location say Doha & A. Murfy docs and practitioner at this locationwell knowledgeable friendly atmosphere and front desk receptionist where helpful and they had kind friendly personality .They helped me fill info on my phone .I give them 💯 🌟 !

The customer service at this CVS is extremely poor. The staff do not know how to talk to customers, they are very rude and they lie too. I recently had a prescription sent in 14 days ago, they did not try to fill it, instead sent a text saying that it was pending insurance's approval, that my provider had to call the insurance for approval that was a lie. After 2 weeks of back and forth, I called the insurance and they looked in their system and said that this location did not even try to enter my prescription, that they would have seen it. Long story short, they are horrible, at least the ones that I have dealt with. They get no star! They make you wait unnecessarily for your medication while they chat around amongst themselves.

There's nothing much to improve because the store is very clean the manager and staff are very nice, Professional and helpful. The Manager was greeting you as you walked into the store.

Had a Covid test scheduled, that was made online, waited at the window for 15 minutes, never once got seen or acknowledged. Went inside and waited in a 20 minute line to be told their Covid systems were not working. I get that’s not their fault, but an appointment option should not be listed for their location.

The level of incompetence at this pharmacy is beyond belief. People have been complaining about the staff here on facebook for many years, but management doesn't seem to be interested in improving. If my insurance allowed me to take my business elsewhere, I would certainly do so. This pharmacy staff sucks. I could list my grievances, but what's the use? Absolute incompetence.

I would like to draw your attention to the poor and rude customer service I have received from your pharmacies. I will not do business with CVS in the future. I will not refill my son's prescription at CVS in the future. It is not the only pharmacy in the country. Furthermore, I will contact my local news station to let everyone know what I experienced. I have been a customer of CVS for quite some time, and I am tired of the backed up service. Today, I was refused service at the 1461 store in MD. I hope you will take action after everyone has heard about it. I have tweeted the CEO as well. #KarenSLynch

I'd give -0- stars if the system would let me. The pharmacy here is horrible! I've been waiting 3 days for an Rx to be refilled and I submitted it 4 days ago. I don't understand what the problem is. If you do get your prescriptions here, be sure to double check everything... The actual pill to be sure it is the right one and the quantity. I get 2 vials of meds in one bottle each month and they actually short filled the script by 1 vial! How does that happen? I am going to have to change pharmacies again, but not sure where to go at this point.
