Went in today to purchase a few items, I needed clarity about a special and the store manager Mr. Stepheon Ballard helped with kindness, I'd also like to mention Mr. Antwan Milling for his assistance as well. In a time where customer service isn't always given graciously, I really appreciated Mr. Ballard's willingness to help without irritation or hesitation. Thank you😊

This Dollar General is just sad. Especially if you go to a nice one like Mechanicsville and then look at this one. It's just a mess. And there's always some kind of drama with other customers happening when we go there, like police showing up or people asking us for money.

I’m glad the store is close by and the staff is friendly but the store is never cleaned, organized and barely stocked. Whoever is the manager or GM needs to do better. The staff too but I understand if there is only 1 person on the schedule at any given time. We shouldn’t have such a filthy store to spend money in. Do better.

I go into this store quite often. However today was different. Somehow I inadvertently left my debit card in the terminal. Got home and realized!! Oh s%*t, I don't have my card!Started to call the bank, but no. I hopped back into the car and drove as fast as I could, without killing myself or somebody else!!! Thank the lawd, April was holding my card for me.It's so nice to know that there are still some honest people left in this world.Kudos to April! You are the best.

This place has totally gone downhill. I don’t know if maybe they got new management or what but I went in there the other day, and there was hardly anything on the shelves. Majority of the shelves are empty. They had dead flowers in there that smells like fish.stuff all over the floor it’s filthy This is just getting ridiculous. Shut this placedown.

Store always Close any time throughout the day. This has been going on for months now. This store is the closest store for the community to get essential items for our home. I wish they would have just built a Walmart near, we wouldn't have to deal with these problems.

Store looked great it has been awhile since I visited this dollar general usually there is so much stuff in the aisles you can't even shop but this trip the store was well organized aisles were easily passable. The cashier and manager on duty were both very helpful and very nice. I went to the store for a sale item there was none left on the shelf but the manager instantly went to check if they had more in the back unfortunately they didn't but they did go out of their way to check. I don't know if they are under new management or not but since my last trip to this store things have greatly improved

I was in this store at the check out a man walked out of the store the lady at the register told me he steals all the time she didn't do anything. She didn't stop him or call the police that's why this store is so dirty and poorly run needs new management.

Please pay attention to the price listed!! Prices are higher than listed on the shelves, e.g., copier paper listed at $1.75 for package of 200 sheets was charged $3.00 at the register, Knorr Mexican rice listed at $1.00 charged $1.50, Duck masking tape listed $2.75-charged $ 3.50. This is not the first time prices have been misleading- wished I had noticed when paying and bought this to the attention of the employee but was home before noticing.

This store location used to be maintained much better than it is now. The customer service sucks and employees are not the friendliest people. This store can be maintained a lot better than what it is currently. It is screaming for a deep cleaning and better structure. Get the items on the shelves for goodness sakes and open up another damn checkout lane!

At 1 point I did give all 5 stars because they have good customer service but ihad ta take 2 stars away, 2nite I went there ta get 1 thing tht i 4got at tha grocery store and when I pulled up at 9:45pm tha doors were locked wit no one n site.

They are improving. Slowly lol. But at least the cashiers don’t argue with you anymore 😩 and the floors aren’t dirty.

The store was neat and clean. I was able to find what I needed easily and the employees were helpful and friendly. Cashing out was fast and accurate.

It's usually pretty good bike there pretty regularly but today I told someone who works there needed something from the top I'll and I'm too short to reach it she claimed she was going to help but left the aisle so I'm like that was rude I grabbed a step stool she yells at me to get offprecedes to walk away again when I say I still need something off the top row I guess you just want to get sued if someone falls from climbing the shelves

This is the dirtiest, funkiest dollar general ever! The manager was sooo intent on telling another employee that a tv was in the breakroom, he messed up my card transaction. The floors have obviously never been mopped and stuff is everywhere! I hate going in here! Such a huge difference from the one in Bowie, for example. I was ALWAYS running to dollar general for something... this location has changed that.

Overall decent, it's Dollar General, get in get what you want and back on your way.They have some of the basics for any household. Brands range from top tier to to store.

Went to this Dollar General on Leonardtown Road normally the shelves are empty you can never find anything you want they must have a new management team in there because the shelves were full never seen those shelves that full since I've been going there since 2015.

The store is too cluttered. Only one càshier. Prices seems to be about the same as at the grocery or other stores. Some of the school supplies are cheaper at Staples and Walmart.

Not kept up at all. Very dirty, stock laying all over the floor. Staff very rude. I would never go back unless absolutely necessary.

Dirty, messy, and disorganized. Only one checkstand open with many people waiting. I left without purchasing anything because it just wasn't worth waiting in line.
