CVS Bryan’s Road, MD, Indian Head HWY. This place let me sit in line I outside drive thru for 25 minutes or longer. After waiting so long they told me it was closed at 6:09 pm. Apparently they close at 6:00 pm, but I was there about 5:30 pm or before. The pharmacist didn’t tell me and he was going to tell me they were close; the window was open and he saw me. I saw the store manager ask then she told me it was closed. But yet he passed by the window repeatedly for 15 minutes.I watched the lights go out and the window was still open and 3 cars were behind me. Not to leave out the pharmacist was extremely rude! He had an African accent. They told me to come back tomorrow.I went inside and there was a lady still in line getting her medicine and they refused to help me still. The lady wasn’t there when I was in drive thru, but yet they helped her and not me. This is not the first problem I have had at this location. Last time they lied about my medicine not being authorized. My health insurance had to call them! Also, most of the time they are in short supply of medication or have only generic!!!

Pharmacy is terrible! Nothing is ever ready on time! Refilled via text/app! Told it was ready..once I got there I was asked to come back in a hour! Came back a full hour and 30 mins later it still wasn’t filled! This CVS is an inconvenience for everyone in the area! You hear the complaints while standing in line, what really gets me is , it’s always 4+ people in the pharmacy (working) with Nothing being done

I called this CVS to have my RX transferred before a holiday and for some reason they had it filled at a less convenient CVS where I had to drive farther then waited in line behind about 20 people for an hour which is typical of the WRONG CVS they transferred my script to.

Their pharmacy seems somewhat disorganized and chaotic. Sadly, I stopped using this store. I now use another pharmacy across the street (Med Surg). They are easy, fast and friendly.

CVS is always a pleasant shopping experience. Every time I stop to pickup or drop-off prescriptions I always find something else I didn't really need but purchased anyway. They have a lot of unique items that are calling your name.

I stopped in just to grab a couple quick items. I didn’t expect to have such a lovely experience at a CVS! I would go out of my way to return to this specific location, thanks to Connie and Alexys! These ladies made me feel right at home and I actually really enjoyed talking to them. They were attentive and super helpful. Alexys didn’t just point me in the right direction, she took the time to show me where my requested items were located. The store was spotless and I appreciated how Connie was circulating through the aisles engaging with customers while inconspicuously tidying up and cleaning as she went. Our conversation felt like family rather than the generic “hi how are you”‘s. Connie and Alexys worked really well together and their positive attitudes were infectious. Give these ladies a raise, they definitely deserve the recognition. Will be back!

We have had great luck with pharmacy tech Kolton’s accuracy insuring rx tops are those seniors can open when alone. Judy keeps the coupon machine running when it acts up insuring all get their freebies to use that day while in the CVS store :-)

The sales team at the Bryansroad CVS provided exceptional services. I was looking for a certain product and could not find it. The manager assisted and also the sales person I think named Mani. She was patient as I was trying to decide on the product and she willingly showed me other products. It is sooo good to find friendly services.

This review is specifically about a rude, dismissive and unprofessional pharmacist by the name of "Jay" who was on duty 9/2/2023 around 9:30 a.m. at 7035 Indian Head Hwy, Bryans Rd. Maryland, 20616 (Store ID: #1838). I recently tested positive for COVID and was anxious to get paxlovid so I called CVS pharmacy and ended up speaking to Jay. I told him about my situation and asked if he could prescribe paxlovid and he said no that I should go to my primary care or some other place. He was very dismissive and was not interested in assisting me. Then I asked if I could get the meds through their tele-health clinic and he said no. Jay did not have a clue about interacting and providing professional customer service. He was a complete buffoon and consummate jerk. Immediately, I made an appointment with their CVS telehealth clinic and was prescribed paxlovid because I was symptomatic and quite ill. CVS telehealth prescribed paxlovid which was filled at pharmacy where "Jay" worked and who said I could not get the meds. Why does CVS hire nasty and rude people in their pharmacy department at the Bryans Road, Maryland location when then can do better? It shows a lack of respect and concern for their customers who deserve better.

This pharmacy is atrocious. I can hear a light skin gentle man behind the register saying the bit.ch word etc. How the heck is this place managed? ...This is exactly why certain people can't get a job!!!I can say the lady at the register had been friend and the dark skin male . Management please train your staff better smh.

Highly do NOT recommend the pharmacy here. Drive thru has two full service windows that’s accessible by one lane. Currently Lane 2 is closed after 5PM, but that doesn’t seem to make any difference as every vehicle proceeded to use lane 1 for some reason.Made a 10:15 appointment for a COVID test in advance. Instructed to stay in my vehicle upon arrival. Arrived to find a long line of cars, most with their vehicles turned off which was my warning sign. About 20 minutes after my appointment time I tried calling to make sure they were still going to be able to test me since it was so long past my appointment time. Put on hold for forever. Somehow got switched to a hotline to a guy giving me a 1-866 number to call. Called that number and no answer. Called back the Minute Clinic number and no answer. Attempted the pharmacy’s direct line and no answer. It’s now 11:17; an hour past my appointment time. I have two cars in front of me, still waiting to get to the window.This occurred on Monday morning so I can only imagine how it is during the weekend.

I absolutely hate cvs. Maybe this is part of my doctors fault as well, but I just can’t get my prescriptions on time because they couldn’t reach my doctor and then need several more days to get my medication once they contacted my doctor. I take meds that can’t afford to be skipped so I am so frustrated that I will have to skip 5 days just to wait for them to get what I need. I have been using them for years and I have to go through this sort of thing every time I need a refill. They either don’t have my meds when I need it, or try to give me the wrong brand of medication, which is important to get right as well. I may find some other way to get my medication because I can’t take this anymore.

The pharmacist name called sarafel or rafael not sure of the spelling was extreamly rude. I was calling From Doctor's office to call prescription in for a patient. All i ask was his name & he was not willing to give it to me he said he "doeant have time" to give me his name. He said "have a good day" & hang up on me. Very rude & unprofessional. Now the patient can not get their prescription i tried to call again but i was on hold for 30 min. I dont mind being on hold but why did the pharmacist refused to give me his name & hang up on me? This is actually sad. I called today 11/05/21 b/n 10:15-10:30am. If there is any manager at all please go & traack the phone coversation b/n that time. This is unacceptable. The patient is not getting his treatment

It was mid day and not busy. Usually in the evening, when busy, there is a wait at the Pharmacy counter and the Pharmacist on duty is not very cordial. They never seem to have the proper staff available in the evenings.Poor customer service.

I went today to this cvs drive through to pick up my medications. I thought it would be safe. However when I opened my car window and they opened their window a continuous strong rush of air kept coming through that window into my car. When I told them about how unsafe that was they all laughed at me. They don't even realize the problems that can cause. So I called another pharmacy to make a transfer of all my and my husband's medications. You all be safe out there.

The PHARMACY STAFF IS TRASH! There’s maybe 1-2 people who do their job well. The other staff are lazy and lack basic customer service skills. Myself, my husband, and even my dog has experienced issues with our prescriptions. 9/10 if there’s an issue with the script/refills it’s because of an error on the pharmacy’s end. Their favorite line is “cal your insurance”! I’ve transferred our profiles to another location. They’re HORRIBLE!

Trash. Everyone who works here. Not one person would help with the pharmacy line. I went inside to tell them and check out inside and they "ignore the drive in close to close so they don't have to stay open a few minutes late." Rude and unable to explain issues to you. Wasted 2.5hrs of my day to get a prescription. Great job!

This place doesn't deserve 1 star. Worst costumer service I have experienced. Recently moved and had an Rx transferred, cvs told us it would be ready in 2 hours. Go to pick it up several hours later and they tell me that refills don't transfer. When I asked how come they didn't mention that on the phone earlier, when doctors offices were still open, everyone just shrugged. Then I asked why no one called to let us know, still nothing to say.My husband needs this prescription to counteract an illness he has that can (and almost did) kill him. It would have taken two minutes to call us or the prescribing Doctor. Patient care is obviously not something these people are worried about.

Worst CVS ever. They NEVER have my prescription ready in the time that the TEXT MESSAGE that’s sent to me says. They never open on time, the wait in the drive thru on average is 20 minutes plus, and it’s usually 6 cars long on average. Plus tell me why, month to month, my RX price changes. Same RX from the La Plata CVS?? $30.00 LESS. WHAT GIVES....

Charged higher price for items, when asked for accurate price, manager said that the price was for different items when the shelf label clearly showed the same item name and description, along with other same items.

My review is about the pharmacy in particular.Nothing is ever perfect and I completely understand that but in the middle of covid with elderly family members and a now needing a prescription for my dog I was at the end of my rope trying to get this delivered. When I called today after two days of challenges at the website and deadends where everyone else said i should go, it was not a good look. ROBIN in the Pharmacy saved me! She was awesome. She was patient, she gave me good advice, she even helped me with the system in saving my card and getting the meds on the way. Leave it to CVS that I couldn't even find a place on the website to compliment her and send kudos up the line. So...in the end I'll leave it here. Thank you.

CVS Pharmacy Bryan’s Road MD staff are helpful and very considerate. My only suggestion is to change the back ground music while we are on hold ( by the phone). The classical music sounds very depressing- last thing I want to hear while waiting for the pharmacist to answer the phone is a very sad and depressing song. Otherwise- love my CVS!

I am waiting in the line for a pharmacy pickup.I am next inline . Out of the blue the pharmacist tells me that the pharmacy is going on break. Sorry I have to come at another time. Just like that. No sign no warning no nothing. Horrible customer service. Taking my business somewhere else!!!!!

Okay, I like the employees. The main store is always clean, neat, and organized. Now the bathrooms ... The men's room is disgusting. Poop stains that I know, for a fact, have been there for over a week. I honestly think that not a single employee or cleaning crew, has stepped foot in the men's room to clean it for ages. It's a breeding ground of bacteria.

The Bryan Road CVS couldn't be bothered with transferring a perscription from out of state - asking me to go see my doctor instead. They then put me on perma-hold. I don't do business with pharmacies with that attitude.

I went twice to this pharmacy and not happy with the service I got.No respect at allgiven me wrong meds [name and dossage].When I asked to return the wrong refill she told me not possible to return it because of the corona outbreak..Now I can't take my meds for three monthsAs the insurance will not cover my meds.What do I do now.

Nothing like waiting in the drive thru line, as you get close the sign says full service available in both lanes. I pull to the second line and the tube machine says that its closed. I was forced to go to the back of the line for following directions they posted .

This is the worst cvs I've seen in in many years the pharmacy technician was rude in. Language and demeanor made racist statements and refused to give me medicine for covid relief this pharmacist said he was on break causing me to not have life saving medication he said that I have to come back after an hour
