Well-stocked shelves with good produce, I like their strawberries and blueberries. Their rewards card is easy to get and if you shop at Weis often it helps save money on gas should you choose to use your rewards that way. A lot of the staff are from Brunswick high school and I've never had a bad interaction with any of them, they were all very knowledgeable as well

It’s ok grocery store. The only option in Brunswick with full grocery. To many do it yourself registers, pharmacy is probably one of the worst options. They never have inventory, their hours are all over the place, you will do the work of the pharmacy if you need something refilled and then get yelled at by your doctor office because the pharmacy didn’t just send over a request… the hot bar is ok, it closes early also same for the cold deli, bakery stuff is ok. Meat department is nice if you want cut meats it’s not all pre packaged. Eggs and milk prices are off par with the rest of Frederick county and again an issue with having only one full service grocery available.

This place has great hours and is usually stocked really well produce is for the most part really good occasionally it starts to look a little wilted, but I think that’s anywhere you go. They have really good sushi that’s ready to go and they have the self service checkouts in addition to the regular checkouts, and the self service. Has anywhere from 1 to 3 people there to help you out if needed

Weis is close to home, which is why I sometimes shop there. But, if I have to do major grocery shopping (although it is literally two blocks away from my home) it is not my first choice. Why you might ask, well here are a couple of my reasons:1) On several occasions I have purchased expired food. I have to really pay attention to expiration dates because to my surprise, they do not. It is not just this location that has this problem. I have seen this at a fee different locations.2) Their produce often looks bad and even when it looks good, once you get it home you have to eat it right away because it will go bad quickly. I have not experienced this with any other store. In fact both Giant Eagle and Wegmans (Both in Frederick) produce lasts a long time. I suspect that the Weis buyers purchase older produce at a lower price, but charge the same as any other store to improve profit margins. Still food is expensive right now, and it should not go bad so fast. It is not just this Weis location that has this problem. Finally, the staff is nice and helpful, so there is that.

Im not sure if Brunswick's rent is sky high, that would be the only thing to excuse thier astronomical prices. However there are 3 things that they have that beat Wal-Mart prices- 1. The vitamins/herbal suppliments 2. Milk bone- brushing chews 3. Bottled water. They have a fantastic floral section, especially for a grocery store. The 💐 I have pictured is $25 FYI, (vase not included but the cloth was)Since I don't use points for gas, it's nice that you can use 100 points for discounted eggs/milk ect... (Pictured)Another thing that is great about them is that they actually read your survey reviews and respond, if need be...😊As of February 2023 an 18 pack of large eggs is only $1.49 if you(have and) use 100 points. Make SURE you tell the cashier that you want to use your points on them and check your reciept! 🥚🥚🥚As of April 2023 and 18 pack of eggs is $2.99 when you use 100 saved grocery points but I'm not complaining. A gallon of milk is only $1.79 when you use 100 points and you may use as many points as you have and combine the offers; which is AWESOME! Last week I had 800 saved points and bought- a gallon of milk, 4 cartons of (18ct) eggs and a free ham for only $14! 🤑

Buyers beware. After several months of shopping here I've finally gotten fed up with this place. I'm overwhelming disappointed as shopping here used to be special. It is no longer as such. My last visit was the worst. Fish dinner for two and I show up to pick up some salmon. The individuals responsible for wrapping up my fillets were unprofessionally wearing casual attire. Could you imagine ordering a 4oz fillet and watching as someone wearing a beanie of all things wraps up your meat?Several months. Of service like this. How long must I wait until I'm truely satisfied and not paranoid that beanie fuzz will land on my fish ever again.

Bakery is awesome! Most cashiers and folks working in the aisles are cheerful and helpful. Butcher, seafood and deli are friendly and helpful. Excellent fried chicken and sushi.

Deleted my former review, new assistants and pharmacy management, not helpful or knowledgeable, in running insurance information so they charge what they think 🤔 instead of being of assistance to the customer trying to "BE HELPFUL" making sure the customer gets their medication. They are rude and obnoxious, I drive 15 miles away rather than go to this Weis pharmacy. Very SAD situation for the community

Worthless self checkout machines, high food prices. I'd rather drive all the way to walmart where the machines actually scan well and don't accuse you of not putting something in the bagging area. What a waste of time.

3 times I either called or walked into the Market Deli and asked for wings since they were not already on the shelf. All three times I was told "no we will not make them" The deli area employees are the worse.

Paid $63 to get helium put into 5 small foil balloons that I provided. I called the day before to ensure they offered this service and was told it cost around $3.99 a balloon. Then to my surprise at checkout was charged $62 after watching the customer service members debate how to price it. When I questioned the fee they said it’s $12.99 per balloon and they charge as if they were providing the balloon. Insane! And one day later the balloons are deflated. Also I went and checked their balloon pricing afterwards and they had an almost identical balloon for $9.99. I never felt more disgusted walking out of a store!

Update 4/2024: teaberry ice cream no longer has hfcs in it, so that is good. The state of the disability carts continues to be atrocious. Nobody in management cares anymore.Update 9/2023: I'm actually irritated that they have been bugging me so hard to do another review just 3 months after the last one. They have stopped carrying a few things that I used to get regularly, and I am annoyed about it because now I have to special order them online. (Zevia soda for example). The state of handicap carts continues to decline. They prioritize snack foods over disability services.Update 6/2023: actually nothing much has changed since I last reviewed, but I wanted to let you guys know that this is confirmed.Update 9/2022: These are small peeves, but I bring them up because it's a far cry from how they were doing when they opened. It makes it seem like a lot of that attitude was for show, and more and more it has seemed like doing anything extra to assist disabled customers is apparently a bridge too far.1. They have moved the handicap carts out into the foyer where the plugs were not designed to handle that many. They're currently being carried by a fire Marshal-defying pastiche of low grade power cords being plugged into other power cords, into the one outlet on the wall out there. And it's all just a fire waiting to happen. They made way for some paper bags with donated goods and that's lovely, but that stuff can sit out in the foyer because it doesn't require a plug. Way to make disabled people feel like they're an afterthought.2. And along that same line, I took one of those electric carts out to my car to load my things. One of the staffers snuck up behind me, and was lurking, waiting for me to get done with my cart. It was pouring rain out. I'm in the handicap spot. Not for a single second did he offer to help load my car. It would be polite for any customer and when they first opened everyone did this. But now he just stood there in the rain and silently watched me load my own stuff. Unbelievable! Lo, how the mighty have fallen. In fact, I'm taking a star away from my rating because I've been complaining about this for years and the managers do not care.Update 4/2022: they're doing pretty well now.Issues: Some of the staff has decreased their maintenance of the disability carts, though. And they often put food displays or other nonsense in front of them, which I have brought up to staff a bazillion times and they honestly don't really seem to care.Overall, however, things seem to be going pretty well.Old review (grand opening):It's a brand new store, and clearly Superior to other older stores of the same brand. They do have a few Growing Pains, but the majority of the time, the staff is proactively helpful and the quality of items offered is very good. I am hoping with a few Road bumps that get fixed that perhaps it can get 5 stars.

Weis ReviewTheir produce section is not good, so I went to get a bag of oranges. Every bag of mandarin oranges had at least one molded or bad piece inside it. I'm not sure why the store representatives or manager doesn't just throw them away. I'm not sure who's goign to buy bad fruit. Then I saw it was only one big bag of regular oranges so I inspected the bag by looking from the outside to make sure none of them were molded or bad and they weren't so I was semi-relieved.Once I got home I opened the bag and every orange in the bag had the end of the orange. It was mushy and looked like the peeling had a second layer of orange peeling on it. I'm not sure how this happened but I attempted to eat the orange but it tasted funny like it was bad and it was mushed around that part of the orange and I couldn't eat it. This was a very big bag of oranges and I tried to look through the bag to find a normal looking orange but they all looked the same so I took a picture of some of them. I hope they can maybe get a different vendor or provide me a refund because I eat oranges everyday and I literally wasted money on a bad product. I saw other posts about how their produce is not the best but since this was the only store near me and I need the product I gave it a try, needless to say the other reviews were right. Hopefully they can resolve this.

They have a good selection, but I can't give them a good rating for one reason: moldy bread. It isn't even any specific type of bread, it seems like all their bread is on the verge of spoilage. I bought a pack of generic hamburger rolls, they were moldy within a day. Tried a second pack, spoiled before I opened it.Bought a pack of club rolls from the bakery. Spoiled in under four days.Bought a loaf of "Old Tyme" brand bread. Threw it out the next day with mold visible before it was even opened.I want to like this place because it's more convenient than driving into Frederick, but the constant spoilage doesn't engender much confidence.

Let me start by saying the cashier Mason has no personality whatsoever! He is absolutely terrible at bagging. He also failed to ask me if I had a Weis card once he was finished ringing me up, and after I paid I realized that I didn’t use my card. I told him that I wanted to cancel the transaction & that’s when he told me that he couldn’t. I demanded to speak with his manager. The manager came over & within a minute the problem was resolved. Weis-whoever trained this boy didn’t do a good job at all.

There is a pharmacy in here for a reason. Almost nothing is organic. Only pesticide covered GMO produce and foods filled with seed oils and bioengineered ingredients that cause health issues. (Thats why there is a pharmacy inside) Also putting the candy section next to the baby food.. come on. This store is focused on profit before the health of the community it provides for. However, the staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. But seriously, wake up people.

Ok I don't normally shop at Weis,,and I remember why that is. 1st all the Weis brand can veggies and fruit I bought tasted awful they had a taste like licking a can,I won't be getting can items from Weis again, Mostly the prices were very high another reason I don't shop at Weis. Produce very high Deli cooked whole chicken over priced and under cooked. Personally I don't think I will go back. Ty

The lady who stocks the gluten free section is an absolute peach. Super nice. Showed me other gluten free options in other aisles and pointed out new products! I really appreciated that. The pharmacy staff (minus one) is super nice when I ask like 475838853 questions about my new prescriptions. One of the store managers was also also really nice and told me to ask if there was ever a specific gluten free product I was looking for. They don’t al seem to hate being there.

Weis Markets at Brunswick are organized thieves. And I really feel sorry for the staff here who are mostly nice people. With the exception of the Meat Department who are trained (or poorly trained) crooks. Their meat is tasteless -- clearly it has been frozen and sold as fresh. This includes their chicken, which often spoils on or before the sell-by date. I've lost count of how many times. I no longer buy meat there. What a shame -- this store has no close competition so local people are stuck with it. Walmart is 10 minutes further but worth it. The meat is much better, never spoils. And no tricky labeling like -- 'Spend Less' . Want to spend less? Go somewhere else. And your apology is meaningless because I contacted your customer service several years ago with the same issues — apparently you ignore complaints and simply send people gift cards to shut them up and do nothing to fix the problems. You do not care about the community that you serve.

Worst grocery store ever. I have been complaining to my wife for over a year now about the pick up service. Every week we throw away over $20 of bad produce and cold cuts that they clearly do not follow instructions on. Last order asks for a .25 lb and cut to thinnest for va ham, peppered ham and Swiss cheese. Received all as thick as a board and 1lb each. All of which i will not eat. Pretty sad since we spend over $200-250 aweek there. I am done..... I would give a zero if I could.
