Very helpful staff. Didn't like that a female staff member snapped at an employee " Take lunch and be back on time." It was mean enough that it caused me to turn around and see who thought such demeanor was proper especially will so many customers were in the store on a busy Saturday.

Wow, Ace carries SO many things!! Grills to lint rollers, seasonal decorations, cleaning supplies, automotive & lawn equipment supplies, kitchen and canning supplies - plus of course a great selection of hardware items very attractively priced.The personalized service is top notch, the associates are well trained, and are very helpful and friendly.Save the trip to Home Depot and Lowe’s – Ace very likely will have you covered!

Overall the staff, including the so called managers and supervisors, are absolutely horrible and useless.This was my 3rd visit, and I did not want to go since I knew what kind of service I'd get, but I had no choice at the time. This time service was even worse than my last two horrid experiences, so I just had to laugh and go with the flow to get what I needed. No matter what my need is in the future, it will not be bought here.

For a small neighborhood hardware store they actually have more than you'd expect. Well stocked with most everything you'd need. Has a very limited amount of lumber and molding if you need one or two 2x4's for a small project.

This is my favorite store in the area (5 minutes from the house) and I feel like if I haven't been in for a few days I need to go just to see how helpful and friendly everyone is. Good selection, great prices and always friendly. What else do I need!? I ordered a Weber grill online today and have to go to Mt Airy to get it because there isn't one in that color in stock here today. I almost feel disloyal doing that! I'll be in again later in the week!

I was very impressed with the customer service here today. I needed a 2' section of 3" PVC pipe. They had only sold it in 10' lengths but the manager had a clerk cut 2 feet for me and charged a reasonable amount. They even had to program a new SKU for the item so they can now sell 2' sections of PVC.They really went out of their way to save me money and make me a happy customer. Went to Ace Hardware for a hot water heater hose. Brunswick Ace is my local hardware store. They didn't have the hose I needed in the length required. The sales kid tried to convince me they didn't make longer hoses but. I had to convince him he wasn't correct. They're not Lowes or Home Depot so they're gonna have a limited supply of a few items close to what you need. Be sure to research your project. Think about how you can fix it. Not how you want it fixed. The Brunswick Ace hardware has enough of what you need but maybe not the expertise to suggest alternatives.

Went in yesterday to grab something asked the two ladies working the front where to find it and was treated like a bother for interrupting their conversation was pretty off setting to be honest.Spoke to the next gentleman I met I believe his name was Logan and he was an absolute delight and a model of customer service helpful ,informative ,polite. He’s the kind of employee that will keep customers like me coming back.

Had a bad experience once returning a programmed car key. I don't like the fact they don't stand behind their products. Other than that, they're good place to go to for something cheap. Just not sure I would trust him with something expensive.

The workers at Ace were so helpful. I had some time so I went in to shop around. I found helpers everywhere willing to answer my questions.I found out that they make screens. I started telling my story about how I just bought a fixer home about a year ago. Then I got information on lawns, insects, mold, mildew, windows, Stihl equipment, they have batteries for my zero turn mower.Ladders at the best price around.At the other hardware stores the help is never around and when they see you, they walk the other way. The store is a perfect size and the quality of the merchandise is at an extremely higher quality.Better service, better prices, better quality, is why,ACE is the PLACE!!!!

Staff here is always professional, very helpful and polite even if you are returning something. I buy most of my landscaping tools, chain saws and hedge trimmers from them and they have always been great to deal with. We will keep using them and would recommend them to anyone in the area.

I know by experience that their tips on how to save my lawn from dandelions were very helpful you should see my green lawn now just beautiful.

I needed a Craftsman wrench. It was only available in a set. I was disappointed that I could not my preferred customer $5 off without the coupon. Offered to bring back the coupon later in the day and was told it needed to be at the time of sale. Later I was told they are added up at the end of the day. Since my number is in your system I think I deserve the discount. Service was good.

Staff that has a terrific “how can I help you? service attitude, and the store is well-organized, with mostly quality items as inventory. My only disappointment is with the caliber of personnel tasked with Stihl product (sales and) service. They keep changing, certainly can read the Stihl screen and understand it. While they are competent as to sales of Stihl products, my experience is that they’re a bit overmatched on the service part, perhaps due to turnover. Case in point: an FSA battery powered string trimmer - my second, after 5 years of excellent performance with a workhorse FSA that I retired. In week 2, the new trimmer started making abnormal staccato sounds, so I took it in. $35 later,,repair guy at Ace said it was debris, that he cleaned out. Same staccato sound, no comment by Stihl guy, no change in his diagnosis. So, I took the trimmer to the Stihl guy with TW Perry in Leesburg, who has over 10 years of Stihl experience. He quickly saw that the shaft was bent, yeah, my bad , it fell off my cart , I didn’t realize at the time that the shaft got bent. The point is that experience matters, and the Stihl personnel at Ace in Brunswick could benefit from more of it. Otherwise, a first rate place - what an upgrade from the hardware store not far from Beans in the Belfry!

In many larger hardware superstores, you can spend several minutes wandering the isles trying to find someone to assist you.At the friendly neighborhood Ace Hardware in Brunswick, MD, it is instead the store staff who actively seek you out, then offer their skilled assistance or suggestions. And if you ever have a very unusual question, they will promptly call over another staff member with skills in that particular area.Quality products at reasonable prices and a truly great selection, but in my view what truly sets Ace Hardware apart from the rest is their very skilled, friendly, attentive staff. And I never feel like I am asking a dumb question – they easily tailor their friendly guidance to my own level of experience.

Usually the staff and owner are very pleasurable and helpful. The problem is that the owner hires too many kids who don't know what they're talkin about. When you try to get something out of them they get flustered and can't handle the situation. And then the managers and owner tend to get into groupthink and side with the employees no matter what the answer may be. When this place goes south they really go south. Overall a decent place to go but if you need lots of supplies or something very specific or you have the hard questions to ask save your time and money and just drive to Home Depot or Lowe's.
