We went to celebrate Leap Day!! Have always wanted to try it and finally did. Read reviews before going but we found it pleasant. We had reservations at 8 so it was pretty quiet by then. Had a seat by the fireplace. Very nice vibe inside. Can’t wait to go back when the weather is nice to enjoy the outdoor patio. Our dinners were tasty and service was good.

The atmosphere was very calm and welcoming. The staff were competent and accommodating. We were in a separate portion of the restaurant, but never felt disconnected or ignored. That had much to do with Luca, our server. Amazing at his attentiveness and interaction.Front of house/owner: if your staff interacts with guests and make them feel welcome, that is a positive for the guests.Overall, we will be going back again and really enjoyed the evening. Ordered wings, hummus platter, and other food. All were great.Thank you!

Our server was lovely and so sweet! We felt badly and didn’t want to bother her much about our trials with this dinner because I think other patrons were also not pleased on this particular evening. The location is cute and atmosphere so promising. Unfortunately though 😅 ….The dinner started with me asking for a margarita and the bar tender just made what he wanted/something completely different instead? So that was really weird. Also, the drink looked like green murky sink water. He did offer to make another one after I very quickly also ordered a wine. My Boyfriend ordered a steak and was extremely disappointed. The cut was absolutely NOT worth the cost. The lobster ravioli and peel to eat shrimp were OK. Everything else was kinda gross and not worth whats charged. Down to the garlic bread and the “Alfredo” sauce that came with it. The alfredo sauce was basically the consistency of water … looked and tasted like warm milk with copious amounts of salt 🤔Anyways, disappointing experience.

Silo Falls has one of the best venues in MoCo. The restaurant is beautiful and has nice outdoor space. The three times we’ve eaten here, service was good and friendly. This restaurant has the potential to be truly top notch.Unfortunately, the food is another story. Each time, we’ve visited the restaurant, we had hoped that last time was a fluke and that this time would be different. Yet, Silo Falls continues to disappoint. Their crab soup is so bland that its almost uneatable; the lentil soup tastes worse than what you’d imagine from a campbells can. The mussels are either not fresh or not good quality. I woke up super nauseous but cant say for sure that the mussels caused it. The flank steak that came with my salad was fairly decent. I probably thought it was better than it really was given everything else I tried that night. The crabcake was okay but the coleslaw that came with it tasted spoiled. Other dishes we tried varied from gross to just alright.I truly wish Silo improves their menu and hires some experienced chefs to improve their offerings.

As a Brookeville native, I really hoped I’d like this place. I always want to give a place a second chance, but when I’m disappointed twice, there’s no likeliness that I’m ever coming back! The first time we went, the food was good, but the service was absolutely awful. When my fiancé asked for a glass of wine, the server came back at least 20 minutes later to ask what wine it was, and after an hour, we still did not have wine and just told them to forget it. This was also after two other tables that walked in after us were being served before us and we felt basically ignored all night.I went back yesterday to give them a second chance and our entire group all stated how the bartender was rude to them. I ordered the salmon bagel from the brunch menu for $18, which is ridiculous considering what came out. There was no fruit bowl, the bagel came with nothing on it so I had to put on the cream cheese myself, but was not given a utensil to do so(nor did we get napkins). The capers did not come with it at all and all the toppings that did come were very sparse. There was barely any cream cheese, literally two small slices of onion, and one very small slice of tomato. I was absolutely disappointed and most of all was angry that my pathetic meal was $18 when essentially nothing came with it. What I got was worth $5 dollars at best. I left feeling robbed and after that second experience, I don’t think I have a desire to ever go back. It’s disappointing when a beautiful place like that has bad food bad service, and now bad memories.

This is a country-style restaurant located in the middle of a beautiful town called Brookeville. It is a block away from the historical site known as "the little White House", because it was served as America’s capital for about 18 hours in late August 1814 because of British' invasion. Both the interior and exterior of the restaurant are very attractive with inviting and decorative night lighting on the trees. It's Buffalo wings are fantastic, a must try. The steamed shrimp and crab/spinach dip are tasty. The pork chop I ordered was large size but the taste was not the best to my taste. It is kind of strange that we cannot order beers in pitcher inside but it is all right outside. Our price tag was about $45 per person.

We just had an amazing Valentine's Day dinner at Silo Falls. Everyone on their team went above and beyond to make it a special evening. We had a window table in the first floor dining room; the room had a fireplace. We ordered a bottle of wine. My husband raved about his cream of crab soup, and the meatball appetizer was very tasty. I ordered the Pasta Silo Falls and my husband had the grilled salmon. We shared a creme brulee for dessert. Our server was named Brooke. She was so pleasant and she checked in with us after each course came out. A high volume night like Valentine's Day can strain the resources of a restaurant, but they handled it all seamlessly. We were really impressed!

Good food and a wonderful ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating options. We celebrated my sisters birthday and had lots of menu items to choose between. I enjoyed the penne pasta with sausage, and peppers in a pesto sauce. Really big portion! My brother had the ribeye steak and it was grilled perfectly. My sister enjoyed the salmon. Unfortunately, the waitress was a little cold and disengaged. I’ll go back and hope the service goes better.

Christmas Eve reservation and very disappointing. Our server did the best that she could but she was waiting 9 tables and was scrambling to keep up all night. , Filet unavailable although on the menu , plates left stacked on table, side items neglected, silverware at a minimum. Steaks ( strip) offered as an alternative were filled with fat. Asked for bread and brought 4 little slivers of garlic bread. Pretty unreal evening. Management should be ashamed. We met with them and offered a compromise. Will not return.

Beautiful landscape, excellent patio and grass seating (just added covered area for music, and stone walkway and patio). Service was spot-on, friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and freshly made. Homemade hummus, bbq, and just added meat/cheese platter. Have been twice in a month and will continue to enjoy their hospitality. Dog friendly. Use barcode for updated menu

Love this place! Nine of us were celebrating my wife's birthday. Alex at the bar took great care of us pre-dinner. There are daily specials at the bar. Our specials were Mimosas and Bloody Marys. Our party was in a dining room with a fireplace. Our waiter Chris was attentive and exceptional. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. Of note were the Crab Cakes, the Ribeye Steak and the Salmon entrees. The wine and beer selection was good. The desserts were delicious and disappeared quickly. We look forward to returning!

Shady business being ran. The owner has no regard for employees, several checks bounced during the holiday season with no apology from management. This has not been the first time checks have bounced for the whole staff and will not be the last. No type of training or on-boarding for new employees. The place has a weird smell, all they care about is how much money we can bring in for events with the quality not even remotely matching what we charge. The new manager Brett has no idea what he is doing. This place will be going downhill within a few years. Stay clear and do not spend your money here. Owner has no respect for his hardworking employees imagine how he feels about his customers.

Went with my family, the server was great. Ordered the fish and chips. Plate arrived fresh and hot, but just two small fried strips of fish with a side of fries and a small bowl of cole slaw. The fish was very delicious there was just not very much of it. Kind of disappointing. Like shrinkflation had hit my plate. I noticed that the chicken strip dish that one of my kids ordered was actually larger, at least they had three strips , jeez. Cole slaw was luke warm and bland. Desert special was a blueberry cheese cake that tasted a day or two old. The sauce wasn’t bad but I definitely did not finish the desert. In hind sight I regret ordering what I ordered, I left hungry and irritated. If I had known that the main course I was ordering was going to not have much on the plate I would have ordered one of the steaks or something else.

Wanted to love this place. Came once before for dinner and similar experience to today’s lunch. Nothing tastes fresh, bland food. Wings had that frozen and defrosted taste. Even the pickles tasted bland. Servers were kind so no complaints there, but they were new and there were long long long gaps. $70 no booze, two burgers, an order of wings, two teas. It’s a lovely setting, lovely enough that when my steak dinner wasn’t good the first time I wanted to try again.

Delicious! I got the hummus, corn fritters and grilled chicken salad. Food was great! Eating outside was so nice too! There was only two waitresses though so service was a little slow. I'm okay with that since it was delicious! We walked the grounds after and it was something to behold! Very nice views.

A beautifully maintained peaceful Inn with lots of space. Our server Vincent did a wonderful job serving our lunch group. I enjoyed the grain and vegetables bowl and am not a vegetarian - I will order again. Masks on staff were comforting. Desserts looked delicious! Attached a picture of the covered outdoor dining area looking out over many beautiful acres.

Crab cake was very good. Not overly breaded. House salad was just ok. Very nice setting, not overly crowded. You could carry on a conversation and be heard without having to shout.

So glad we stumbled upon this gem. Super comfortable dining experience, friendly staff, great food selection, and reasonable prices. This place is our new go to spot for date nights. Wife ordered the butternut squash ravioli and she highly recommended it. I ordered wings, my only suggestion is to offer another sauce or two to even out the selections.

I'm an Olney local who's been watching this place go downhill for a year now.Firstly, service. They are clearly understaffed. I don't blame staff for this. Everyone was friendly and helpful... when they had time. The experience. (Property is as gorgeous as ever. That's where the good news stops). Crushes from the bar are now flat and boring (didn't used to be). Friend asked for a couple of different drinks that the bar couldn't make. Draft beers are nearly nine bucks. Beer and liquors are frequently sold out, especially those on the specials/happy hour list... forcing you to order drinks off the regularly priced menu. That and the inability to get a seat at the bar is why we stopped going to happy hour a few months ago. What I did not realize is that the problems had spread beyond happy hour.We took a friend out for a belated birthday dinner on a Sunday night, and that leads me to the last nail in the coffin... the food. The plates came out at inconsistent times around the table, and everything was luke warm to cool. The pork chop was overcooked and dry, the mashed potatoes were cold. The crab cake was cold, undercooked, and gummy with an off flavor. The waitress was a champ and responded appropriately, but we had already been waiting a while and were ready to go.The other dishes were... confused. I truly think the kitchen has lost any sort of identity or perspective. In the last half year, they've tried to subtly switch over to being a steak and sides style place... but it's not really successful. Several dishes have multiple sauces that do not really belong on the same plate (i.e. crab stuffed chicken in one sauce, with mushrooms in another, next to definitely store bought pasta in a lack luster marinara).Finally... the price... not worth it.We used to love this place so much we brought relatives from out of town. We even had a memorial for my mother upstairs in 2022. My family really hopes someone rights the ship, but til then, it's off our dinner rotation.

I’ve been here many times over the years, but won’t be planning to go back. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks and our table was right next to the bar. The service was extremely slow and the food was adequate. I used to love their grapefruit crushes, but this last time it was made with ocean spray and was completely watered down by the time I received it.It’s too bad because this place is cute and was really good.
