Pet food is great quality. Nice sales for dogs, not many for cats (example: free dog washes). The buy 10 bags of food get one free is great! It definitely pays to be a member to get extra savings! Keep an eye out for in store clearance, it's best to visit and see what they have. I like buying my pet food from a place I know the food is good for my cats. The cat gym selection is also good and there arw constant sales on those, just keep checking back. We bought 3 cat gyms from there so far.

Staff is friendly. Great price for the self dog wash. They provide the shampoo/conditioner (included in price of wash). The last time I went though, there was some sort of issue with the water. Half the time it would be icy cold, so I had to keep stopping to check the temp to make sure that cold water wasn't going on my senior dog. This made the bath twice as long and more uncomfortable for my dog. Other users had the same issues when I was there. The attendant told them it was because PetValu shares a wall with a hair salon, which makes sense. Still, it would be great if they could find a way to more consistently warm up the water for the dogs in the winter.I do wish they had more stations, or maybe allowed people to reserve a spot online/day of to help keep lines/wait times down as well.

Its adorable here, I take my German Sheperd here for her regular baths and the staff is always sweet and helpful. The place is always clean and neat, towels well stocked, baths cleaned regularly! I love the free treat my pup gets for being a good girl as well.

This is my first time in that store and I would have to say it is the cutest thing I've ever seen. From the little kitty cats that you can adopt to the treat station that looks like Pepco, or PetSmart. But the one thing that really stands out and makes this place so great is the bathing part of the store. Though the steps are a little bit steep for my dog to climb up on it was still a great experience for her and myself. It comes with a leash on the wall so they won't have to move, they Supply the shampoo and conditioner. Any shampoo of your choosing, and it's all for $10. They also have either towels, or a dryer for the dogs as well. Even though my dog did not like the dryer she enjoyed the towels just as much.

Staff has been very helpful with suggesting treats for my picky pup. When I bought my pup in, the staff member gave my pup a sample and allowed her to smell the others. Staff are very knowledgeable. I prefer PetValu over the others because of the help and attention. It is alot of cool stuff packed in there!

Great place to wash your dog. Raised tub, blow dryers, towels etc included. Call and make an appointment since we are in a pandemic now. I also bought the cuteist doggie doughnut, my dog loved it lol

At one point, I had to travel into Virginia for items now available here in Brandywine. Pet Valu is a cool little shop place I enjoy visiting for hard to find or unique items. There's better quality foods, treats, toys and other pet products, including pet wash where you can bathe your pets. They offer "sample" foods and discounts on wet & dry foods nearing expiration date. Store personnel are friendly, engaging with customers, and knowledgeable about comparable items to "transition" your four-legged companion. Check em out, spend a few bucks and make your special ones happy. You'll be pleased 👍.

I always enjoy coming here especially for the raw food that I feel my pup. The employees are always friendly and very helpful. Having the grooming stations is a plus as well.

The staff here is so sweet and caring for your pets. They are very knowledgeable and don't try to trick you into buying things you don't need. check them out when they have the Shot Vet come in for pet vaccinations. You can't get a better price.

I love this little pet store! I bring my doggo here for trips to get her snacks because she seems more comfortable in this store vs. Petco/PetSmart. The washing station is awesome especially for large dogs!

We mostly go here for the self serve dog wash. The elevated tubs with steps for safe access make bathing the dogs so much easier. Would definitely recommend!

Great friendly staff with a spacious area for washing your furry friends. There are alot of kicks and knacks to choose from as well as reasonably priced dog food.

I'm sorry I had to give this place one star a friend and I went and worked for this company holding signs on the side of the highway after working for them they did not pay us. The staff in the store was very nice and helpful. But the company as a whole I'm not so sure about. If you hire someone to do a job you should pay them.

I walked in, one worker looked at me, and the other spoke. There was absolutely no help after asking for help in locating a particular product, I felt I was bothering them, no interest in helping me, nor did they leave from behind the counter to assist me. It was two Caucasian girls, one heavy set and one short one shaped like a cereal box.Neither were pleasant at all! Because of that, I left. I’ll go to a big box pet store instead to spend my money. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VITAL TO THE SUCCESS OF ANY BUSINESS.

They have a dog washing area that cost around $10, definetly worth it with a dog that sheds like crazy. Most of the other things for purchase are fairly expensive. They do carry a lot of specialty food for the picky dog parents.
