As usual, we were pleased with the care our cat received during recent boarding and treatment at A Cat Clinic. We have been pet parent clients since this veterinary practice opened in the 80's. Many of our cats have passed through the doors of this practice because we have high confidence in the doctors and staff. And, we love the boarding facilities that look out upon the woods. Although the cats would prefer to be at home, this is the best of the best when they need to be boarded!

We have 3 cats that are all seen by the vets at A Cat Clinic and every experience is pawsative! For our cat who suffers from urinary issues, it’s important that we have a reliable vet that can get him seen and treated on short notice. The front desk staff are friendly, the technicians treat the cats with respect, love, and care, and the vets always answer our questions and make sure we feel confident in the treatment plans before walking out the door. While the price of services can be costly at times, we feel it’s still worth it to come to a practice that specializes in cats. I would recommend A Cat Clinic!

We recently adopted two cat brothers and have entrusted A Cat Clinic to their care. The staff and doctors here have all been amazing. They are extremely responsive, caring, and thorough. At our first visit , the doctor spent as much time as necessary with us answering all of our questions. We recently had them neutered and the staff was kind and compassionate for our little guys. Follow-up questions were also answered in a friendly manner. We love going here for our kittens' care.

The staff and doctors are so incredible! You can tell the love the staff has for cats, and their thoroughness! My cat, Vida, actually likes going to the vet! She is a senior and the vet is so thorough with her. Highly recommend! Communication is amazing as well!

For over 14 years, I have been using this clinic for my precious cat! I have also frequently boarded my cat here as well. They always have highly dedicated, compassionate, and knowledgeable staff! I wouldn't take my cat anywhere else! If I could give 10 stars I would!

Truly such an amazing staff, they are so friendly and sweet to both me and my fur baby. As a first-time cat owner, I can get pretty anxious, but I feel relieved whenever I go in for a visit. Last week, my cat had a small emergency where I had to bring her in, and the doctor was able to squeeze me in despite closing in an hour. I rushed in and didn't bring a cat carrier, and they provided me one to take home. (How sweet!) They really took their time to make sure that my baby was okay, and they are always gentle and give her so much love. She is feeling much better now!

Highly recommend A Cat Clinic! My husband and I have been taking our cats here for a year now. It was the first cat-only vet hospital that we found near us. Our vet, Dr. Lindsay Kraut, is amazing, very knowledgeable and great with our cats. The techs and the front staff are also very kind and friendly. I really appreciate getting my cat's "report card" (pretty much a summary of their health and the vet's comments) at the end of our visit, as well as the transparency around costs. Thank you, A Cat Clinic for a great experience every time we come in!

The professionalism, knowledge, compassion, and kindness shown at this office is amazing. I'm so glad to find a vet that is not far from home and specializes in cats. Also, I haven't had to wait too long for appointments. I've been bringing my cat, Rocky, here since early 2023 for aging related issues. Due to the impressive service provided to him, I made an appointment for his brother, Snoop. Check out the attached photo of the adorable chalkboard drawing! Thanks to all the staff there for taking care of my cats and making us feel welcome. Highly recommend 😊

We went through 3 vets after we moved to Rockville. Happy to say we have finally found an excellent vet. Doctor calls personally with test results (not the tech). They spend a lot of time with your pet, and clearly communicate costs / options, (and not in a pressure-y way). Highly recommend.

Our kitties are new patients at A Cat Clinic. Last week was their second visit at the clinic. The place is designed specifically for kitties with toys, heating pads, etc. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and handle the cats with care. In our past experiences, some vets couldn’t quickly do the tests and would stress the kitties, and would force us to give them gabapentine. No issues at A Cat Clinic. The only downside is that the clinic is a bit far for us and our fluffy ladies are singing for an hour going to and from the clinic.

My three cats Minnie, Chloe, Xavi, and I have been working with Dr. de Bernardis for almost a decade now. She is very knowledgeable, detail-oriented, patient, and nice. We always enjoy our visits and fun chats with Dr. B very much, and Dr. B is highly qualified to advise us on all aspects that are in the best interest of our cats. In addition, our cats boarded here when we took trips several times and they were provided with the outmost care, love, and trust. There is no place I would send my cats to other than A Cat Clinic! I'm worried if we move someday and what we would do, but the drive is worth it to continue here. All techs and receptionists are super sweet and welcoming. My first cat Minnie passed away at the age of 16, and she was a lovely grey persian. Sadly, she got bad cancer and I was very very distraught. Dr. B and her team provided my family and I lot of emotional strength and care during that difficult time. They recommended ways that could help Minnie prolong her time on earth and pain management. Eventually, she crossed the rainbow bridge and to this day we hold her dearly in our hearts.

Love this place! The staff is so caring and understanding of the needs of individual cats. I also love how some vet rooms have windows so the cats can look outside. It is so special and it feels like the space was designed with them in mind. I also like that I always know what I am going to pay because they tell me what each procedure/shot costs before they do it.

I've tried multiple vets in the Gaithersburg/Germantown area and am very annoyed with myself that I didn't go to A Cat Clinic sooner. They are hands down the best veterinary service for cats in the area. The atmosphere of the office is very calming, the staff are efficient and compassionate, and the vets are thoroughly knowledgeable. They're just wonderful.

My cat had many hair mats that I could not untangle. There were quite a few. The groomer at the Cat Clinic took care of every single one. He feels better & I feel better petting him. I was very happy for Buster.

We have an 8 yr old and a kitten. A Cat Clinic also took care of my previous cat. She had a complicated medical history and intestinal lymphoma. She made it to 16 yrs 10 mos.Staff is kind , caring and professional. The doctors are very experienced and explain everything. We are very happy with their services and intend on having a long relationship.

The doctor was very nice and did not rush the interaction unlike other vets. She answered questions and did an exam of our cat Pepper. They have nonsense mask policies but I guess that’s par for the course now. All in all a great experience and we will be back with our other two cats if/when there are issues.Had a horrible experience with Germantown vet clinic. This is our new vet. So far so good. The doctor even took the time to write a handwritten note. This is world class customer service!

I've been taking my cat here for 3 years and would highly recommend. Her annual exams are extremely thorough and they are more than happy to take the time to address all your questions and concerns. I feel very confident that we're getting top notch medical care for our girl and on top of that the entire staff is so kind and helpful.

I took my two cats to this clinic last year for the first time. Within a day of their visit, both my cats were throwing up and had diarrhea after getting vaccinated and I had called in with concerns but never got a call back from the vet. That was a big red flag for me but I thought I would give them another chance but when they made a mistake with my appt and cancelled it without the decency to offer an apology at the very least I figured it was time to try someplace else.

We worked with their staff and Doctor Mustillo on multiple occasions and always had a wonderful experience. When one of our fur-babies was sick, they took great care to help us understand what our options were and where to go if we needed emergency care. And when we welcomed in a new kitten, they took the time to help us address his on-going concerns, and to calm our anxieties after our previous health experiences.Overall, we absolutely recommend them, and are sad to move away from their services.

Cat Clinic has treated four of our cats over the last 34 years. We've always been very happy with their care of our "furry children". Every vet has been wonderful and the support staff are great. We especially appreciate their sensitivity when the time came for us to say goodbye to our kitties.

It was our first time here with my sweet little anxious cat, lucy. The vet tech Ericka was very sweeet and made lucy feel so so safe! Dr. Mustillo was also a wonder! She was very patient and very informative, she gave me some great tips. I will be making this my cats primary care. We loved our experience at a cat clinic!

Took my two babies for their first visit this Wednesday and it was beyond expectations. I was kept informed all the way through before, during, and after our visit although I was outside in the car waiting. The doctor was beyond pleasant when she spoke to me and I felt heard. She made multiple suggestions and the service was absolutely wonderful. Thank you for welcoming us into your family.

Updating my already 5-star review because we already loved them for routine care, but everyone at A Cat Clinic went incredibly above and beyond when my 2 year old cat had a medical crisis. The doctors and other staff there are cat experts, and used every trick in their bag (even making up some new ones!) to save my very sick, very sweet boy. I am absolutely certain that he wouldn’t have made it through if I’d brought him anywhere but A Cat Clinic.They were patient, empathetic, and upfront with me every step of the way. There were no surprise costs and they understood that I didn’t have an unlimited budget for cat expenses. I can’t say enough about the care we received! Any vet might be fine for routine checkups, but A Cat Clinic quite literally saved my cat’s life because they are passionate about providing cats the very best veterinary care possible.

This is by far the best vet I have ever been to for any of my pets. The doctors here have expertly cared for my FeLV+ cats over the last several years and have really just been amazing. I moved to Baltimore in 2020 and tried 4 different vets, only to have less than great experiences with all of them. I decided to come back to A Cat Clinic for the quality of care and the great experiences I've had with the staff and doctors. It's worth the hour and fifteen minute drive!!

The entire staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly and so helpful. You can tell their love of cats. We have been seeing Dr. De Bernardis for many years for our two cats and have developed a wonderful relationship with her. We recently had a visit with Dr. Mustillo who was also kind and caring about our sick kitty that is now feeling better. We can't imagine going to any other group to take care of our Angel and Finn!!
