Nice store. Shelves and stock are pretty much always well organized and clean, and it's never hard to find someone if you need help. Everyone who works there that I've had contact with, especially checking out, have been nice and helpful. It has a closer feel to it than the competitor, which I like. I especially love the savings and the ability to re-use the containers with the fill it yourself cat litter. Great idea.

Tyler in the fish section makes shopping here a very positive experience. His friendly demeanor, knowledge of fish and their care and his good nature all add up to a great experience. In other stores it seems that the associates don’t really know “fish”, but Tyler clearly does.

Tyler is the best! He helped me and my husband from the moment we called and he picked up the phone during this very snowy day. Let me know ahead of time what color birds they had in stock before we made the drive so we knew what to expect. He helped us when we got there as well, and just gave the best service there is.Thank you Tyler for helping us out so much. So happy to have a new little birdie be part of our family!

When I first walked in I was greeted by a young lady who was feeding the kittens. We chatted for about 10 minutes.. she was very pleasant, very warm and fuzzy conversation... just overall pleasant. The young man that assisted me with the purchase of my beta fish was very knowledgeable about the fish and what was needed to contain the fish in its aquatic environment. Both of them was pleasant and very professional.

Lady at the grooming desk and the pet stylist Marissa Jones were so welcoming and compassionate. Marissa cut Bella’s hair exactly as I requested and it was amazing. I’m now trying to set up Bella’s next appointment with her. Bella has a skin condition but Marissa did a great job working around it.

Great store, usually quiet. They always have cats for adoption. Sometimes they have ferrets, etc The young white quiet male that's been there for a few years is very knowledgeable. He is the go to person if you have questions! He's one of those people you pray for when you need help because he actually knows what he is talking about. They should make him the store manager. For the most part the register staff is fine. They do charge for bags now!

I'm usually not the person to leave a purely negative review.... dead reptiles and fish everywhere, water bowls had poop and food it's wasn't no day old water bowl either there's a foaming ring around the bowl in the water, Also prior to seeing the death that is this store... I asked to purchase all off there mourning and yellow head geckos which the employee proceeded to not find for 30 minutes and then let one get out ..Then the rudeness began long story short I love petco but this store needs help deserves zero stars

As one person previously stated, they cancel grooming appointments on the day of, in addition to that they had previously already rescheduled the time of my appointment for a time outside of what I had stated. Even then I adjusted and I waited a month to get a grooming appointment just for them to cancel with no rescheduling on the day off. They never answer the phone and do what they want. It’s ridiculous.

Great store for convenience. Pricey items but they are not a large store. Go elsewhere if you are looking for cheap cat and dog food. The store focuses on healthy pet food, not just anything. The staff is always nice and helpful. The store manager is extremely friendly and nice. Great addition to the neighborhood.

For grooming department, one star. Difficult to get grooming appointment, do not pick up phone, do not return voicemail and have cancelled twice on the day of appointment via text. Disappointed I signed up for vital care since rewards have expired and can’t use.

I ordered online and picked up at the store a product for hot spots that seemed to be supplied only by PetCo, even for other online shopping sites. Petco's online price was the best value among the online shopping sites. It was cheaper to order online from PetCo and pick up at a local store to avoid shipping costs or the higher price of an in-store purchase at PetCo of the same product. The product works well. The spray pump does not. I purchased two and the spray on one doesn't work at all and it works inconsistently on the other. Although this was extremely annoying and inconvenient, we kept them because enough product comes out to soothe our dog's hot spot effectively and we'll reuse the spray pump that sort of works. The product was out of stock or twice the price at other nonPetCo online sites. Only PetCo seems to have the product in stores. Five stars for the product, 2 stars for the defective spray pump, and 3 stars for the store which seemed to be in disarray at the time when I shopped. Giving overall experience 3 stars.

As a frequent customer of the Petco Store in Bowie, MD at 15475 Annapolis Road Suite 100 Bowie, MD, 20715, and pleased to say that I am always greeted with a warm smile and attentive service by the Petco team members. I love the ease of finding exactly what my 2 Maltese Pups enjoy such as the highly-rated Honest Kitchen, Wellness, and Instinct Raw dog food products and SmartBone snacks!Yesterday I placed an order for the 1st time on the Petco App for pickup later in the day, and it was super easy with options of curb-side pickup and/or delivery!Upon arrival at the store the cashier quickly retrieved both packages which were nicely and labeled and ready for me to grab and walk out. Thanks so much to the Petco Team for the great customer service & shopping experience - I’ll be using the App ordering service again soon!

I took my pets to the Vetco for shots and exams. The vets essentially give shots and take blood. While there was no exam, they indicated and answered the questions on the Medical Records. It really is a money maker for them because the animals don't need all the shots they sell you on. I'm going to use the vets at the animal shelters next time.

I love this Petco. I get my dog’s vaccinations here. It’s very affordable and this location has their clinic every weekend. I also love their groomers. Often, I’m able to do a walk-in appointment for a nail trim. Always happy with the friendly service.

I went to this Petco a couple of Sundays to have my dog groomed and it was my first time having my dog groomed there. The groomer name is Jenn S. and she did a great job on my Yoshi and she treated Yoshi so kind even though my dog wasn’t very friendly with her at first. I will be definitely taking my dog back here for grooming

It's absolutely absurd that Petco is charging for plastic bags!!!!No signs stating the policy change, you only find out when you get to register and by then you don't have a choice.Petco already has higher prices, charging for bags for crazy!!!!
