Excellent managed Weis. The cashiers and all staff are very friendly and helpful. The store is always fully stocked, and great variety of fresh vegetables, fruit, meats, fish and seasonal items. I love their made to order pizzas, along with their large variety of pre-made meals. They’ve recently under went a “renovation,” which added a large section dedicated to healthy, organic foods. It’s great having this store service the people of Boonsboro!

Don't buy gift cards here! I bought an Apple card that is invalid. I called the help desk, and the surly "customer service" rep told me to call Apple. That was it. No help, no I'm sorry's. Never Again!!

The market had everything I needed, and I was surprised by the multiple selections of products. There were plenty of staff to ask for help. I asked for help to find the coffee, the staff member was as nice as ever, she walked me to the coffee, I told her I was new to the neighborhood, she welcomed me then asked if I had a WEIS Card. I said no not yet. She said, "let me help you get one so you can start saving, we really have a lot of great savings here". She had signed me up in a minute. On checkout I saved $3,00 on a $51.00 purchase. The checkout lines were all open and running quick. I waited about a minute to be checked out. All very friendly and effecient people, with a down home culture.

We had a bad experience at the deli. Asked for some chipped ham and the young blonde deli worker put the ham on the machine and set it to automatic. While she was waiting she started to clean up with a chemical spray. She was wiping down the other machines, a wall, even the floor with one rag. She went to handle our meat. I said, “Please tell me you’re going to change your gloves?” She said she was only going to touch the paper the meat was on. OMG, I couldn’t believe it. She must have seen the horrified look on my face because she changed her gloves. She was not friendly and I declined buying anything else. I would never shop at this Weis again. Prices also double Martins, which is where we went to get more meat. See picture, $13 for 2lbs of chipped ham at Martins vs. $21 for 1.98lb of chipped ham at Weis.

We had ordered 45 pieces of chicken to pick up today 9/17/23 for a family reunion we went to deli department we have seen 3 girls setting and chatting and on their phones not doing their job. We have waited at least 3 minutes until we walked up further and found an older gentleman and he helped us we told him we were to pick up an order for “sandy biser” he went and looked for it than he said he couldn’t find it than he found it. Then we waited by the outside where it says employees only don’t go back. Then this rude deli manager comes out of nowhere and starts running her mouth and having an attitude to me and my father saying. “You all need to step back this is employees only (in a nasty tone) we were no where near that sign or in the back by the fryers whatsoever so then she began intimidating us. Then my father finally says I’m going to find your manger. Then she says in a nasty tone “you go right ahead” so then we find the store manager and we all went back and I told the manager and pointed at her saying that was the woman that was getting nasty with us. Then she starting smiling and laughing thinking that it was all funny. Then the store manager and me and my father started confronting her then she was cursing at us badmouthing us saying “we needed to step away from her. We where no where near her whatsoever. We all where very mad and frustrated. I’m a paying customer I come to your store to by chicken. That’s not how you run a business. It should’ve have been handled in a calm manner. And I would like her to be fired because their is no sense of this manager yelling,screaming and harassing us they way she did. I already called Weis customer service and I will be contacting better business bureau on this store tomorrow. I would have gave 0 stars if it would have let me.

Usually it's a quaint little expensive. Never too busy which I like. Only problem I have is that they have a lot of employees but only one cashier. That nice little girl always has a line but remains patient and kind. I realize I'm living in a different era but there are still some of us that like a connection with people even if it is the girl at the checkout line. She deserves a raise!!

Clean, well stocked, good variety and friendly service. A great neighborhood grocery store. The prices aren't as competitive as say, Aldi, but they have a significantly larger selection, more premium products, fresh baked goods daily, and a full service deli counter. Unless you're on a really right budget, this is a great option for grocery needs.

Very clean store, friendly staff, large parking lot. Self checkout has become a bit more user friendly. E-coupons on the website are very easy to use for Weis Club members.

Good meats, pretty well-stocked, and excellent staff, BUT we aren't happy with the "big remodel" because it seems to have resulted in a switch to almost all self-checkout - there was only ONE full-serve checkout open today. Self is fine for a few items, but we won't do it for a full shopping trip. Fortunately we have a Martin's not that far away, it's worth the few minutes extra driving when we are doing our "big shopping".

Always has the items I’m looking for. Staff is usually nice. However I am not the biggest fan of having most of the checkout lanes being self checkout. It takes a while and you have to wait for each item to be put in the bags and for the machine to register that the item has been put in the bag, before you can scan the next item.

Decent market, which isn't saying a lot since it's the only one in town. My main gripe is there only seems to be one cashier... EVER, and no one EVER bagging. I usually end up bagging groceries myself to help the poor cashier keep things moving. The self checkout is OK if everything you're purchasing has a bar code, but if you're buying produce, prepare to wait a lot for a manager or whatever to come unlock the self checkout register.As someone that's worked and managed retail, it makes no sense to me to have 4-6 employees standing around chit chatting by self check out, while the lonely cashier without a bagger has 6 people in line with full carts. Back in my day we would open another register or at least send someone over to help bag. I don't understand what they're trying to accomplish by forcing the self checkout on everyone

The immersive experience is worth the trip. It's fascinating to watch them interact with each other, and the diversity in colors, shapes and sizes is remarkable. Make sure to attend one of the feeding sessions to get a fuller experience.

The first of many fresh grocery deliveries from @weismarkets.I wasn’t sure how things would go ordering groceries online in such a remote little town but the level of care and service given by Shelley and her team at my neighborhood @weismarkets Boonsboro 178 has left an impression on me.Staff member, Hannah May was concerned and reached out to me when the delivery I ordered somehow got returned back to the store. Shelley chose to personally deliver the order to my home! She recognized me as local shopper and said, she was happy to do it.Now that’s community! Thank you Shelley and her team for a new experience.

Not much selection aside from produce for people who eat vegan diets. Produce did look alright. Wide selection of every day grocery items, but no isolated organic section. Whole store smelled strongly of seafood.

Always good. I spent 34 years working in a grocery store. This one reminds me of the days when customer service mattered. The quality is good and prices are good. Service is a 5. Need I say more?My 34 years including intense and competitive training. Two years in classrooms and in store live. My experience was tested ih high and lower level volumes in and around DC. Customer service is always paramount. This store is personal. You begin with the parking lot and entrance. The store is a theatre and every employee is a character. Be aware of what the customer see's and hears. When possible you walk the customer to the item. If a customer had a bad experience with even a pricey piece of meat I exchanged or refunded. Each transaction handled correctly is 10k per yr, in annual sales. An unhappy customer tells a room of neighbors and all of a sudden the long range is bigger. This store reminds me of the old days. I know it when I see it. It's common for an employee to say hello if you approach. From the top down they are a team. Smiles.

Pharmacy services are generally good, though the whole store was in chaos. They are apparently rearranging the shelves. Used Weis2GO for weekly groceries. They do their best.

I frequent this store weekly. Staff is very friendly. Luke stands out in particular, as he is always polite and especially helpful! He always greets you with a smile, a hello, and without fail always asks if I need assistance with anything! He is a great asset to Weis! Thanks for all you do, especially during these challenging times!

This is a fairly local chain I guess, as I'd not heard of it before going to MD. In 3 1/2 months, I have become fairly accustomed to shopping there. I'm back home now, and already miss the cheeses, the ham salad and other deli items! There seemed to be a large variety of foods despite being located in a fairly rural area. Then, again, it may be BECAUSE its a fairly rural area and people travel to the larger towns and small cities to shop! In any case, I wish we had Weiss here in Texas!

The Deli staff was terrific went in for fried chicken but couldn't wait 25 mins. The cashier was very pleasant a gentleman said it was good to hear laughter again the pandemic must have made him sad so I am glad that they hired cashiers with a sense of humor made trip to grocery store a pleasure.

Helpful team and a well stocked store. The deli women are the sweetest and Bailey at the front counter is incredibly cheerful and helpful. She had a great attitude and brightened my afternoon. Thank you all for your help, especially during these stressful, uncertain times. Everyone was in masks, plexi was at the registers and there was a designated in and out door. We appreciate your efforts to keep us safe.

This store is always clean and neat. There is always someone to help and there are always options. I save a lot of money here being a Weiss club member and I have a record of 31% savings on one receipt! I'm sure you'll find this grocer very awesome as I have myself.

Up until today I have been happy with the delivery. I placed an order yesterday and I got it today. There was about 10 items that were listed as not available, these items are usually always carried at the Boonsboro Weis, so I went after work and I got everything that was listed as not available. I think whoever is picking out the groceries needs to be more attentive when selecting the groceries for delivery.

Clean and well organized. Shelves are well stocked and products faced to the aisle. Staff is friendly and professional. Busy times could use more attention to check options. Carts could be better staged closer to the entrance. Seafood selection is sorely lacking as is butcher offerings.

They have reasonably priced everyday food, hot and cold deli items for takeout, and specialty selections, too. They offer meat and seafood, although I really don't buy my meat there. I like the self checkouts, but they also have cashiers, who will ring up your purchases, too.......Cissy M.
