I really like Dollar General for quick stops for medicine and snacks. Prices are better here than at grocery stores. I'm finding soda and candy prices to be high lately. I did not find prices here to be lower on those items at all with the exception of the dollar candy selection. Lots of choices are available and you can find almost any candy you are looking for. This is a great place for stocking up in those cold winter months on soup, vegetables and baking items. Shop early for Thanksgiving to save the most money. I enjoyed my shopping today. The temperature inside is usually too hot for me cutting my trip short but was comfortable on this day. Friendly service and smiles from Julie concluded my time here. Thank's for providing convenient, close, low cost items to local shopper's. Check out the dollar isle for some National brands at great prices!

The store is typically neat and organized, but the staff turnover is extremely high and some staff members that they hire dont seem to care about the customers needs, however others are fantastic! Would have given 5 stars, but I've found myself standing at the checkout counter many times waiting several minutes for a staff member to ring me up. Otherwise a great store for all your needs!

Got my favorite frozen meal and it had no taste and I got sick within minutes as did my neighbor who bought a different brand with the same results. Great place for inexpensive household goods but I won't be buying anything perishable at this location again.

This review is to corporate becauseI see it in too many GD stores. Hire someone part time to work the floor only...not cashiering too. The stores are a discombobulated mess. You can't run a store with 1 or 2 people per shift. It's nuts when you can't move your cart through the aisles because so much merchandise is on the floor. You'll find empty shelves or shelves over flowing. The only thing besides the huge mess in this store, the long door mirror for sale, please throw it out before a kid moves his fingers over it and gets cut. No one buys shattered mirrors. The employee (only one too) was super nice and checked us out fast.

An average deep-discount store. Overstuffed with cheap merchandise & usually no visible staff except a cashier. Have to search, but I eventually find what I want, & sometimes other stuff as well.

Dollar General in Boonsboro just ripped off my daughter for a stinking pack of cigarettes. She ask for two different kinds but only received the one in her bag. Goes back in the store and the lady stated she gave her two packs. But of course she didn't. I called and Cindy (who claims she was a manager) hangs up on me. Cindy is a coward of course and should be fired immediately if she is the manager. I will be calling corporate. Do not shop at this dishonest store.

Slightly overpriced, lower selection and the little Debbie honey buns had a "sell by" date that was only 2 days away. The associates were very nice and helpful though.

A hidden gem in Boonsboro. Courteous staff, wide selection of essentials and nicnacs, some decor items and other miscellaneous things. Easy to get to, plenty of parking.

The store is cramped & often a bit of a wreck (stuff on the floor, etc), but most the staff there are very friendly & helpful. Huge selection of stuff!

Same as anywhere we go... the ppl love us and they joke around and laugh with us. They are super helpful if you need anything even if it's in the back.

I am glad we have this in Boonsboro, most of dollar generals things are cheap, also made cheaply. However, for snacks, hygiene products, or school supplies, you can't beat it.

Always very disorganized and isles are blocked with merchandise. Only go for particular items as some prices are worth the hassle fighting thru the isles.
