I've been going here for 5 years and when I called a few days ago for an appointment I was told they didn't have a doctor for at least 6 to 8 weeks. So I was forced to call another vet. I decided to stop in a day later to pick up a different kind of prescription food (I normally order it) and before I got to the front door one of their staff came out wearing a mask and met me in the parking lot. That's when I noticed the sign on the door telling people not to enter. Why don't they have a doctor or a fill-in doctor and why are they still running under pandemic conditions? This is the closest vet, but from now on I'll be going somewhere else.

Been coming here for 11 years as they were most convenient vet to me though I felt service received mas mediocre at best when brought dogs in for annual check ups and shots, but like I said, they were convenient. Well, the time had come to put my 11 year old lab down so I called before I brought her in. Was told they were booked. I advised that she was suffering but was told to bring her in tomorrow. I'm not sure how, but I kept my composure. I contacted Brunswick Crossing Animal Hospital and advised them of my situation. Without hesitation they told me to bring her in even though we were not clients there. They were absolutely fantastic with the service provided. I will go out of my way to bring any future pets to BCAH and provide them with my business.

This is the first time using them took both of our fur babies there and they did a great job on them checked them out without no problems even though we couldn't go in with them our 17 month old was scared at first to go in but by the time she came back out she wasn't afraid love dealing with them will definitely keep taking our fur babies there

I have been coming to Dr Garcia for 12 years. I called him on a Monday requesting an appointment for my 12 year old Chihuahua who was attacked on Sunday evening. She was in great pain.. She had broken metatarsal bones on her foot as was as puncture wounds I was told he could not see her after 12 years. I had to take he to another office. The office was very clean and professional. They We’re very kind and gave excellent care !!

Drove an hour to get here for our first initial visit to be told I could not go in. I'm supposed to let complete strangers treat my babies without me there to observe. They should have told me this over the phone instead of surprising me with this. I would have went elsewhere.I understand and sympathise with their sick staff member and wish the best for her.. But I garunetee that if it was their human babies they'd feel the same as I do.They should have said this upfront and I would have found another vet. If this wasn't an urgency I would have left.Can't say anything about their treatments or abilities to heal. But their lack of communication needs a vast improvementThey seem to have been good with my babies, can't say how they actually treated them.Whether they were rough or tender or what. Because I wasn't allowed inside. However theybseemed thorough and were affordable.I can't give a higher rating because the lack of initial communication .

They are so nice and genuinely care about my pets. I took my dog there when he cut his front leg open and they did an amazing job of patching him up. My cat just had an emergency and they got me in the same day and didn't charge me a fortune.

Hours of operation and service is based of the Pandemic STILL. You have to wait outside in your Vehicle while your pet is being seen. If only a different Vet could run this practice for Boonsboro. That's Wishful thinking....

My little 5month old teacup Chihuahua only weighs 1lb 8oz. She is having vomiting lately and Dr Garcia has been so good trying to help her and me. Great staff. Will be glad when we can go in and I can actually see Dr and talk face to face.

I feel like I hit the jackpot with Boonsboro Veterinary Hospital! What an outstanding practice. They must've handled my big boy Zeke quite well because the next day after his surgery when I needed a cone adjustment he was so excited to see them again. I called and they told me to bring him in and they would fix the e-collar so my escape artist couldn't get it off. AND today giving me a call to check on my main man during his recovery. Seriously. I am so so pleased.

I’m not a client of Boonsboro Vet but today they went out of their way to help me. I was in the area and my dog has been very sick (dying of cancer). I did not give him his pain medicine this morning because he was acting better than usual. Well about 45 minutes into our drive, he was in extreme pain and he was vomiting all over my truck. I called Boonsboro Vet because they were the closest and after some back and forth (to get verbal authorization from my current vet), they were able to give my dog the medication he needed to be comfortable for the rest of the afternoon so I didn’t have to trek home to get it. They made a stupid mistake on my part a quick and easy fix and allowed my dog to be comfortable as quick as possible. I don’t live in this area anymore but I highly recommend them to anyone who does. Thank you guys again for helping Cowboy when he needed it most 💕

We have been bringing our animals here since the late 1990’s. The staff is awesome—caring, attentive, remembers our animals and their issues. Calls us back to check on things. Dr. Garcia is caring and quietly competent. If u r looking for a gregarious interaction I suggest u go elsewhere. We now have a very personal relationship with him but it took a while. But just recently he helped walk me through a very difficult situation with our senior Rat Terrier.

Extremely disappointing. We have been going to this vet for over 10 years, and this last visit was the last. Every time you call to make an appointment they talk about how overwhelmed and busy they are, and it reflects in the care. After hundreds of dollars, both my cats were misdiagnosed, and we are on to a new place. When I told them we were switching, they could not have cared less.

If I could leave a review with zero stars, I would. Nice to be listed on the list by the Humane Society as one of the “affordable” vet care hospitals for low income families, applying my voucher to cover a simple spay, YET I HAVE A REMAINING BALANCE OF OVER $300!!! During a time like this in the economy when everyone is strapped for money and offering NO payment option and my cat must stay there until you decide to give her over to a shelter. So now for Christmas I get to tell my 4 year old his cat isn’t coming home.

I cant say enough how compassionate and professional this office is. My dog was getting on in years and had developed a tumor. When we reached the point of no return, My regular vet couldn't accommodate an emergency euthanasia visit. I called Boonsboro Veterinary hospital and they kindly worked me into their schedule. They were incredibly understanding and helped myself and my dog through the experience Thank you again for your service and kind words.

This was my first visit there at boonsboro veterinarian I took my two little twin chihuahuas dogs and they the dogs were happy when they came back out to their car the nurse is there they seem very very nice and they explained everything to us so I would give him a five-star and I do thank them for caring about the animals that they care for thank you a boonsboro veterinarian May hosler

I feel that the vet probably used to be a wonderful vet back in the day but it is now time to retire. His hands were not steady. Our pet was misdiagnosed. I felt that I have found better care for my animals elsewhere
