We've used Olde Towne Pet Resort numerous times now and feel extremely comfortable leaving our dog there. We were initially referred to Michael for some dog training and did a Board and Train. Since then we've done other training sessions, swim lessons and spa services. All of the services are great! I can't say enough good things about Michael (training), he's super relatable and is honest with what kind of tools are necessary for your specific dog. My only regret is not trusting him sooner with one of his recommendations. Mac has been accepted into the dog day camp too, which we also use from time to time. Your dog/cat will love it there.

I’ve been taking my dog Bea to OTP in North Bethesda since August 2022. We adopted Bea in June and she had so much energy she didn’t know how to handle it especially socializing with other dogs. Through the work with their lead trainer Michael, Bea has a great quality of life now! We did the board and train which really cemented a good foundation of commands. What was equally beneficial is now we have a place to trust for on going training, day camp and boarding. And the staff is so friendly and great! They always recognize Bea and tell me how sweet she is and what she’s been up to. It’s wonderful to have a reliable place that both my dog and I trust!

Great local place to take your dog for a indoor swim at an affordable price. I take my golden Jake and he loves it! The water is warm, the instructors are friendly, they have life jackets to fit all size pups and they have a huge blow dryer if needed at the end. I would definitely recommend this place at the dog park or to a friend. I can vouch for the day care facilities since I don't use them but no complaints.

Really nice place. Lobby is very modern and they have coffee and other refreshments while you wait. Staff is very friendly and more than happy to answer any of your questions. 4 out of 5 stars bc the play areas are almost all concrete. There is a grass section but the covered areas are all solid and a little on the small side. It would be more beneficial to cover those areas with artificial turf to make it easier on the dogs paws. Would be nice to have a little more equipment for them to play on too. Oh, and they have a cattery-bonus!

We boarded Cuca, our Sheppard mix, at Olde Towne for 10 days, while travelling abroad. There she received 7 days of training with MICHAEL KELLY, and that is what is emphasized in this review. Michael’s training consisted into ninety minutes of his dedication daily. But what was brilliant about it, was that time was divided by fifteen-minute sessions. Dogs are more attentive during shorter sessions, which translates to exceptionally better performance.Long story short, we left Michael with what we thought was a seriously fearful/aggressive dog, but what he returned back to us was a brand new pup. As if by magic, he was easily able to solve the hardest of Cuca’s issues. While we travelled, he kept texting me tons of pictures, videos and detailed tips. She was exposed to multiple dogs every day, brought to long walks at large fields and even to a street market. When we came back, Michael came personally to drop her off at our home, and that became another hour visit, where he made sure I’d fully understand what to do with Cuca in specific situations – and that extra visit was at no additional cost. Michael truly loves animals and the passion for his work is fascinating. The man is a true inspiration.Olde Towne is great, but Michael is a rock star. I have not enough words of gratitude for what he did for our pup, and for us.On a further note, out of desperation before meeting Michael, we had spent $600 with someone claiming to be an animal behaviorist, who did absolutely *nothing* to solve Cuca's issues, other than keeping our money. But that now has become just an anecdote, since we were lucky enough to have met Michael.

This was our first time boarding our eight-year-old collie, Missy. Old towne did an amazing job of taking care of our girl. We provided them with some of her personality, quirks, such as the fact that she prefers human contact to dogs, and the staff obliged by giving her the attention she craves. The WebCams were a fantastic way to keep an eye on her during daycamp, in her room, and in the swimming pool. Everyone of the staff is amazing, hard-working, and looked out for our girl. we love this place, and will definitely come back the next time we need to board her overnight

If I could give 10 stars, I would. The staff is the best, kind, professional, and so caring. Our dog went for swim therapy twice a month. They were always so good with her and price was very reasonable.

I was looking for a pet hotel in case of need. They gave me a tour and the place is amazing. Nice suites with glass doors (the dog will feel less isolated), clean, new, no dog smell because of a air renewal system every few minutes. I felt good visiting the facilities. outside space fenced and someone 24/7. I was convinced but yet never left her. I am scoring the grooming she got here. When I came back to pick her up she looked so happy and smelled super good. The only problem is that the shampoo used gave her severe drandruff. I will give them my own next time. They are super nice.Will definitely come back again!Update:Leia goes to doggy daycare 2 or 3 times a week there and She also stays in their facilities when I have to travel. They are just awesome, I trust them. They send pictures of my baby when I am away (see pics attached). They have staff overnight. I always book one of the suite with the webcam and I can check on her once in while. I even saw a playtime and could see one of the staff member play with her in her room and give her a lot of love and pet. It put a huge smile on my face. It made me feel less guilty of being away for work. I just love the place. I just hope her favorite counselors will stick, the place seems to have a frequent turnover in employee. If I had just one comment would be this one, my dog needs time to adjust and feel confortable with new people so it’s hard when new comers arrive. I hope management is doing their best to keep their employees happy.

Our boy Vinny is a very timid rescue dog that freaks out when placed in small kennel type cages. We were so happy to find this resort with it's spacious rooms for dogs and nurturing staff. We were even allowed to bring his own bed and toys to keep him comfortable in his room. While we were on vacation our dog had an upset stomach and staff made him chicken broth as well as kept us informed of his status. Staff made sure he remained as calm as possible during day camp as he is also anxious around other dogs. Facility is impressively clean, odorless and the video cameras to watch your pet made us feel better while away as well. Definitely recommend this resort for your day care or long term care needs!

I moved to the area about a year ago and tried several other day care locations. No where has been nearly as attentive and loving to my dog as this amazing facility and staff. Rosie has quite a bit of anxiety and they are so sweet and patient with her. She now runs right up to the staff and is so excited to play. Thank you to everyone at Olde Town for taking so much stress off of my shoulders and giving my girl a great place to go when I am away

Olde Towne Per Resort is our go to place to board and groom our 2 dogs. Making an appointment is easy and the staff is very helpful to customize our needs. The place is clean and we are able to keep an eye on our pets online as well.This is one place where both our dogs are happy to go to - it is often a challenge to drag our 100lb baby to other grooming places or pet boarding places!Definitely a good place to consider for boarding and grooming pets ❤️

Dropped off my dogphew (My sister’s dog) for a spa bath (Oct 2019) since he needed a bath. He came out clean and very happy. He had a smile the whole way home. They gave him a Halloween themed bandanna to come hike with.

Put my dog in boarding for her first time ever here and it was such a great experience!! They asked soo many questions about her and her personality, I signed her up for doggy day camp and they have such a thoughtful integrative approach into feeling her out with each of the other dogs that go to camp which really put me at ease. They have webcams not only in the dog's boarding rooms so you can tune in at ANY time to check on your pup, but also in all the day camps etc so you can see your dog playing with the others. The first night, my pup wasn't sleeping in the bed and was lying down on the floor by the door. At 11 pm I called the overnight staff and explained the situation to Cat (an overnight employee) and she immediately suggested and put down extra fleece pads around her room, and specifically one closer to the door so she could lie down comfortably and go to sleep. This was a huuuge help and put my little pup at ease. I was able to watch it on the webcam and was so grateful for her idea and fast action. The receptionist Emma who checked us in was soooo kind and reassuring. Cleo came back happy, clean and soft. Couldn't have asked for a better first experience!

We moved from a daycare in Rockville to this daycare (North Bethesda) 1 month ago. Nanook loves this place, as do we, due to a couple of reasons:1)Webcams: which give you peace of mind! You can check on your dog anytime you want. I have seen it a few times through webcams that the staff hug the dogs and are very kind to them.2)Very friendly and helpful personnel, especially those at the front desk. Very professional. We love Kat! :)3)They care about cleaning and mop the floors continuously. Again, I have seen it via webcams!4) They have many packages and deals available throughout the year for those who love deals and discounts!

My cat boarded with OTPR for 6 nights while my fiance and I were visiting family. Teddy could not have received better care and the prices were super reasonable. The facilities were calming, clean, and bright, complete with calming music for the cats. I like that they rotate play/free roaming time for the cats so they can get out to stretch and play, and even make an appearance on the web cam. That being said, I wish there were more cameras set up, similar to the Dulles location, where you could potentially see your fur baby while they were in their kitty suites. That is my only 'complaint.' I got an unexpected email from one of the staff saying how much fun she was having with Teddy, how he was doing, and that she was going to be bummed when he left. When I came to pick him up, he didn't want to leave; I was almost offended, but then I realized it was because he was so comfortable, and I can't be mad about that!

Olde Towne Pet Resort is a five-star pet boarding, daycare, grooming, and other assorted services for your furry friends. The facility is immaculate and they offer amazing boarding facilities. I love being able to keep an eye on my dog when boarding through the Webcam service. I also love getting the video and picture updates of his playtime and activities. My pup always looks like he's having a great time. Highly recommend OTPR for all of your pet boarding needs! Thank you for taking such outstanding care of my dog!

I absolutely love taking my dog to Olde Towne Pet Resort (and my dog, Remy, loves it too!) the facilities are extremely clean and Remy always comes from daycare or boarding smelling fresh. You can tell the employees love the pets that are there and treat the dogs like their own. Remy completed the Stay and Train with Michael and Matt to help better control his energy and reactivity to seeing other dogs and people, and after one week he’s now a completely different and much more improved puppy! I’d highly recommend all services at Olde Towne to anyone.

I boarded my kitty Jasper here and was very pleased! I was updated daily about my cat and was aware of what was going on 24/7! The staff is super friendly & accommodating and the place is SUPER clean! Jasper enjoyed his stay here! I will absolutely come here again for the future and I definitely recommend! I always feel good leaving my pets here. I like that they send pictures and notifications about when to check the live cams. Taking off stars because the value isn’t great, especially the cat boarding feels crazy expensive. They’ll claim the less expensive cat rooms aren’t available… I think they just didn’t build enough of those more affordable rooms on purpose. I could stay in a hotel for less 🙃

Our favorite daycare in the DMV! The folks at the North Bethesda location help my our baby feel so comfortable when she’s there for daycamp. The facility is clean, the staff professional, and the amenities are plentiful. You can completely customize your dog’s experience while they’re visiting to include pool time, walks, naps, meals, etc. We have been so impressed with how well they care for the many dogs and cats that are staying with them. Eloise gets so excited when we pull up to the building that she practically drags me out of the car. We haven’t boarded with them yet, but the sleeping quarters are spacious and can be customized based on your needs and price point. Excellent pet care facility! 5 Paws from a happy repeat customer!

They treat my dog very well for boarding and day camp. He's always excited whenever he sees that this is where we're going, which makes me feel great about taking him here.My one critique is that some days they seem to have way too many dogs in day camp. But I suppose it would be more expensive if they limited the slots.

My husband and I cannot recommend Olde Towne enough! We never had any issues after sending our dog there for daycare and boarding for 1-2 years before moving out of the DMV.When we went to Hawaii last year, our dog nearly bit through his tongue after running head first into another dog while playing in daycare. Olde Towne's staff called us with updates regarding the injury, provided our dog with the necessary emergency care, and seemed truly invested in ensuring our dog was comfortable throughout his healing process.Even after the tongue injury incident, our dog was always excited to go to daycare and looked like he was having a blast when we checked the cameras!We might forever be searching for another facility with as high of standards as Olde Towne, but we certainly appreciated their services while we lived in the DMV.

I thought it would be a great place to work I love animals but I didn’t realize I needed surgery so I’m home recovering that being said I would not apply their again as I have to be able to lift 50pnds and that’s a requirement and I have a disability so I could not do that. So if you can’t lift 50pnds or more don’t apply.

We've had our dog here 3-5 times in the last few years. It seems to be very well run and clean. Our dog appears well taken care of. We always do the boarding plus day care add on to make sure she has enough social time to roam around. I would recommend it.
