Large selection and huge store that's spacious and doesn't feel too stuffy. Staff was helpful, particularly Sean S. with his incredible knowledge of the shoes we were inquiring about. He was helpful, patient, and personable. Would definitely shop here again. There's also a cafe, restrooms, and it is fully accessible.

Such a positive experience! I went to Nordstrom to get a dress altered that I had actually purchased elsewhere as I knew the alterations team at Nordstrom is amazing…and I was more than pleased with Maria who handled my alterations with such attention to detail. Maria was a joy to work with! Katia who helped me with choosing shoes as well as my hubby’s shirt and tie is a rockstar! I had such joy with the entire team in the mens department and Enoch went the extra mile. The experience was so wonderful that we decided to have the store manager come join us! This Nordstrom has an exceptional team! Thank you for making the planning for our daughters wedding fun!

It's a dying mall and place to visit. It's still a great place to shop, but for me, since they don't have St. John's, Lafayette 148 NY, and any other designers I buy from Nordstrom, it serves no purpose. It's sad, I used to go here for outfits but no more.

Went here on 2/10/2024. My son ordered spaghetti, my wife ordered salmon, I ordered a salad. My son and I received our meals, but not my wife.We asked for 1 meatball in the spaghetti because they're $2 each, but we received three. Then, after waiting a while, they told me they must've forgotten to make my wife's food. Seriously.

Nordstrom as a company is great. The people you work with on the floor helps the hours pass by, the customers are great as well. The management is the worst part. The managers seem to not care about their employees unless you have worked there for years. In particular, Nicole, assistant manager of the Women's apparel, has a lot of issues she needs to deal with. She is extremely unprofessional in-front of customers and in private as well. I do not believe someone who is revolting should be in a high position at the company. Nicole has created such a hostile environment for many employees and I hope someone from the higher ups recognize this.

Clothing is more hip than I remembered. Did not have traditional business clothing, Italian brands, etc. I bought a sweatshirt - a lucky find as they were scattered around the store and no one to help. Not your same old Nordstrom.

Today I went into this location (not my usual location, I just happened to be in the area) to return a few pairs of maternity jeans I’d ordered online. One was from a brand that I’d already owned a pair from and I’d ripped off the tag as soon as I got it only to realize it was extremely uncomfortable with the seam pressing on my belly. It was also horrible quality which is when I noticed it’s made out of recycled denim. The store attendants were nice and tried to help with my return but were lost on how to return the one item with no tag. They called in a lady to help, I didn’t catch her name but she was older/middle aged, white, short hair, brunnette, and looked European. She was extremely rude to me telling me that the jeans looked worn even though I told her I had only tried them around the house and had just ripped the tag off too quickly. It’s an honest mistake. Also, of course the jeans look worn, they’re made out of RECYCLED DENIM! Lol!She processed my return but I’ve never been treated so rudely at any Nordstrom location and I’m a long time customer. I’ve also ordered plenty of maternity online ever since getting pregnant.Nordstrom, since you do not carry your maternity lines in-store, please train your staff more adequately on how to handle maternity returns and how to treat your customers with respect. A pregnant customer has no choice but to order maternity online and then return if the fit is not correct.

Was almost entirely ignored while the staff sneered, gossiped and lolligaged around. I was there for a birthday trip and VERY ready to spend money. I think the staff might have been judging my humble clothes. IThat's stupid. I'm a saver. I save and then I spend!I was ignored at the shishedo counter, clarins, chantecaille, the hair section, the purses and jewelry. I felt like an idiot wandering around while the staff tittered together.I'm pregnant and would have been so grateful to be helped at a counter and offered a seat.There was only one lady who offered to help me, at the perfumesI ended up spending my money at Macy's and sephora, where multiple staff helped me!.

I went in bought shoes then bought a jacket from the mens department and took it back to the same nice lady in the shoe department just so she could get the sale from me. I felt like security was following me as a black man. They don't know what I do for a living black people don't spend your money here at Montgomery Mall Nordstrom go to Macy's.

The customer service was good. The store looked a bit dated, like it had not been renovated in decades. I felt sad going in because the first time I entered a Nordstrom's nearly 20 years ago, I was awestruck with its beauty, but now, it felt like glory gone past.

Worse place to spend your money. I did online shopping for more than 4K . I bought four items, 3 of them had no security delivery I never received any of the packages, I called, and they told me I had to go to FedEx to get them which I did when I got there, they only had one item for me, I called Nordstrom customer service again and they said my had already been deliver to my house which they never did. I requested a refund or replacement, and they denied it. My money went to the trash, totally unfair. Why only secure one package. It doesn't make sense. Worse customer service ever. I will NEVER spend one penny with Nordstrom.

Nordstrom is no longer an exclusive or upscale store. When entering this place it’s like they’re in the middle of an identity crisis. The $200 sweater made in China they have isn’t exclusive. You can get the same one at Kohl’s for $29. As far as an experience? What exactly would that be now? The merchandise focuses too heavily on casual wear and very tacky and cheap looking at that. Who is the buyer for this place? Anyway don’t waste your time at Nordstrom. If you want a true luxury experience and first class service head to Bloomingdales!

I’m a perfume addict, come here often to literally get my fill. They have these little plastic vials with spray tops and you can have samples of whatever you want in the store. My favorite weekly activity is coming here to get samples then going home to review them on fragrantica. Sales associates have always been nice and surprisingly knowledgeable about perfumes. Always very helpful

Imagine your WEITZMAN shoes melting in your closet? That was exactly what happened with these“Stuart Weitzman” ankle boots I got from Nordstrom. See pictures below, it was embarrassing indeed. As soon as I stepped out of the car, my feet felt like they were stuck to the ground / grass because the melted plastic in the soles of the boot was sticking to everything.Took them back to Nordstrom, and they claimed it is a manufacturer defect but when I spoke to the manufacturer, they stated it is the store’s responsibility but Nordstrom claim they cannot take it because it has been worn. No one wants to take responsibility.I only got to wear the shoe 4 times.I have cheaper shoes in my closest that are over a decade old but still look good and in good condition.Very disappointed that Nordstrom would sell such low quality. Stuart WEITZMAN is the manufacturer. Not sure why Google is misspelling it.Still waiting for a call back from S Weitzman manager

This Nordstrom is located conveniently because its right by the covered parking. You can’t miss it, they have a lot of nice articles or every seasons and 2 levels.

The lady at the Chanel counter was rude, knew it was my birthday and acted like she didn’t want to be there… no kindness, no birthday wishes… no little samples like at other department stores.

Came to pickup my $215 shoes, opened the box to find a worn pair of $99 shoes inside the box. Thankfully I did in store pickup but I worry if it was shipped to my home they wouldn’t have believed me that a used and cheaper pair of shoes was delivered to me. This is fraudulent and not the first time this has happened to me - it’s unbelievable! Filed a Better Business Bureau complaint and I urge other customers with the same issue to do the same because I see other reviews with similar experiences.

While I did not purchase anything, the staff were extremely helpful while I passed through. The men’s shoe department staff were nice and respectful. In addition I wanted to highlight “Alla”. I believe that was her name. She got me all my measurements and did a great job helping me out. She was very nice and it was great customer service. I will be back!

This is my third time calling and I keep on being transferred while I was speaking mid-sentence. The first time I was patched through to alterations, and that person was not listening to what O was saying at all and rushed me off the phone, even though I was explaining something so simple.I would simply like a few outfits pulled for me in my size and preferred brands so when I go with my two kids in tow, the shopping experience will got much smoother.I have worked in retail in the past and this is a very standard request. Plus, I keep ok reading all these reviews about Nordstrom stylists being so amazing or how in general the service there is fantastic. This so far is NOT my experience.

I had an awful realization while there: I'm too cheap to shop at Nordstrom and inflation sealed it. The clothes are soft, fashionable, elegant, and of excellent quality but are simply too expensive. Spending $270 on a shirt may be fine if you can afford it but it's a poor investment if you don't have lots of expendable income.

Nordstrom is a great department store with quality merchandise. Their service is outstanding. I have never had an issue shopping or returning something here. The store looks very nice and is we'll laid out.Update: I removed a star because we bought a Briggs & Riley backpack and it was used. We noticed it had watermarks on the inside and later realized it was reticketed and missing the manufacturer tags.

I came for the best selection of kids shoes (toddler slide on Van's, check + awesome service) and left with reduced price bath towels and a few Christmas gifts. Great selection and excellent service in women's. Clean fitting rooms and bathrooms. Not crowded, pleasant experience down to the music and parking.

I purchase a very nice pair of men’s dress shoes they arrived I was excited to open my Ferragamo dresses shoes I proceeded to open the box was I ever surprised someone had worn my new shoes after they were finished they just threw them backing the box. And sent them back to Nordstrom where no one even bothered opening the shoe box. So I sent the manager an email to this day I have not received anything from Nordstrom . I guess they just don’t care customer service does not exist anymore.

The BEST Nordstrom in the entire DC area and it's not even close. Not even talking about the products, but the employees. They are fantastic, with the absolute greatest of the greatest being those who work in alterations. Unsung heroes of the department store. I cannot say enough positive things about their department - I don't know who is still working there, but ask for Sofia, should you need them, and hopefully she is still there. She is a wonderful woman who is very skilled and careful with her hemming.I could go on for days and still wouldn't be able to say enough good things about this location, and like I said, about alterations specifically.
