The worst groomer ever. They ruined my beautiful Cavalier who was always perfectly groomer before moving here. I’ve been devastated ever since, as his coat is destroyed and it’s been 8 months and his coat still hasn’t grown back properly. The groomer was horrible. I should have known because when we walked in my dog, who is friendly with everyone, didn’t want to go with her. The worst experience I have ever had. Stay away so you don’t have the same experience as I had. :( :(

We've had good experiences at Elysiem before with this dog and another one of our dogs, but recently we booked a grooming appointment for our dog with plenty of time in advance, and days before his appointment, Elysiem called to refuse his grooming because he is a large golden retriever and they said it would take too long. So if you have a large dog with high grooming needs, think twice about going to Elysiem because they care more about fitting more clients into a time slot than providing high quality grooming for dogs who need it, even to a returning, well paying customer. They also mentioned no other recommendations or opportunities to reschedule. What a shame.

I brought my 12 year old Cockapoo to be groomed here - we had an excellent experience. He has anxiety and can be very difficult with hair cuts. Nicole was his groomer, she was patient with him and took the time he needed to have a great haircut. So happy to have found Elysiem.

Not much here for cats. A bit of dry food and even less of wet. Hardly worth the drive and attempt to find parking.Their focus appears to be as a dog spa. May the dogs have their day of fun. Cats should escape to hunt yummy neighborhood mice.

Reuben does magical transformations. Bentley (our puppy dog) is excited to see him everytime he has a grooming session. Every time we go to pick him up he looks like a new dog, even Bentley knows he looks good he leaves with a little pep in his step.

I love having this pet store within walking distance of my home. The staff is always so kind and helpful. My dog loves all the treats and food from this store. Also I love the harness and coat that I bought for my dog by Canada Pooch. I don't know what it is but it is like a perfume or something on the coat I got and it smells so wonderful and it must have come from the store. It makes my dog smell great too. Will continue going to this store.

Pet Parents is simply the best! The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and they carry a huge variety of amazing products including toys, treats, food and clothing. Staff always greet my French Bulldog with an enthusiastic smile and a treat. Pet Parents also host meet ups for dogs to play and socialize, which we have loved attending. Their dog walking service is also wonderful, with very caring and responsible walkers. I highly recommend Pet Parents, they are a wonderful addition to the neighborhood!

Absolute amazing job grooming and bathing my dog! They were so efficient, friendly, and well-priced! The best part was that I only had to leave her for an hour to get groomed, where other places will want her to stay for at least four hours. I will absolutely return!! Highly recommend!

We feel so lucky to have this store in our neighborhood! It is so clean (no “dog” smell) and has a great selection of high-quality products. There are treat samples out so that you do not have to buy a whole bag and guess if your dog will like it. The staff is always helpful and kind.

I cannot say enough good things about Pet Parents and their YiaYia dog walking services! I have been using their services for several months now and I know that my dog is in good hands with John and his entire team. They are extremely reliable and I highly recommend them to anyone who has a pet. On the app, I am able to see pictures, notes and a map of their walk. It is a very nice touch! Looking forward to upcoming walks with them. The store is also well stocked with great toys, treats and healthy food!

Very happy with our pet grooming. Reuben did his best to save some length in our dog’s matted long hair. Much better than shaving down to the skin as has been our past experience elsewhere.

John and his team provide excellent service. His walkers take care of our dog like he’s their own. His store is the only one in our area that carries our dog’s brand of food. And they even deliver it for us when we’re running low. We also appreciate that when we do business with John, we’re supporting a veteran and a small business owner. We love Elysiem! My dog is groomed by the best dog groomer (the dog groomer to the doggie stars) - Reuben. My dog is elderly and requires some extra love and care. Reuben is incredibly patient with my dog and always styles him like he's living in Los Angeles and ready to strut up and down Rodeo Drive! Thank you, Reuben!

Our 11 and 13-year-old Cavachons went in looking like nervous, unkempt sheep and came out looking like clean, soft, happy puppies. I stayed in the shop the whole time (bought waaay too many dog treats) and never heard a whimper or yelp. Reuben was really careful not to nick their bumps and barnacles. Street parking was easy too. Highly recommend this place.

What a wonderful, wonderful pet supply shop. They have a nice variety of pet supplies, health items, pet snacks/food, you name it. I was especially pleased with the selection of natural healthy food and ingredients available for competitive prices. It is clean and bright and neatly organized and smells lovely...some pet stores (I'm looking at you Petco) have a heavy "pet" smell.Perhaps the biggest draw aside from the quality merchandise is the incredibly kind owner who spent a few minutes advising and helping me select a few items for my puppy. He wasn't pushy (I hate pushy) and seemed genuinely interested in my pet and finding the best items for him.It is a great addition to Bethesda and I am so pleased it is nearby.

The store is amazing in and of itself. So clean and pristine. The items are unique and very posh but the prices are reasonable. Go because it’s a whole experience for you and your dog. The dog walking is supreme. Try it once and you will never use another service.

The people that work here are knowledgebale about cats and dogs. They have great healthy food options. They have me hooked, I will never buy any brand of food other than what they sell, such top of the line food for my fur kids.
