Employees were really helpful at trying to make me and my new furry friend comfortable! I'm planning to keep going there to buy more cute stuff for Noodles!!! Very Covid-19 safe as well all the CDC guidelines were met

Awesome place to purchase good for your pets, never had an issue in the store staff is good 👍. My only concern was the hazards and danger that has to do with the building maintenance, the ceilings are very bad in water and mold damage. One is about to burst and it might fall on someone!!!

Great location. The staff are always so welcoming, and helpful. They always greet me when I enter the store, even when the staff are in the middle of doing something like cleaning cages. Whenever I place an online order, it is prepared quickly and there is no confusion during pick up. They are stocked well, they’ve always had what I come in for. I prefer shopping at Petco over other competitor pet stores because of better deals and great service.

Updated hours by reducing store hours from closing at 9 to closing at 6 and doesn’t have anything posted online in regards to hours of operation change. Went to pick up order after 8pm only to find that store had closed 3 hrs early.So much for surprising my daughter for her birthday when she woke up in the morning. She’s been asking for fish for years and and after doing a lot of research I wanted to surprise with thee tank so we could get it set up and cycle it. So I cancelled my order & went toPetSmart

The worst Petco I have ever been to. The staff are never in the store, they have no idea what a pet even is and they are insanely rude. The other day I walked in and there was no one in the store. Like literally, no one in the store, I walked down the aisles looking for a worker, I could have taken my goods and walked out but no I waited 10 minutes for a worker that showed up from the back. All the pets here are either sick, dying, dead or a combination of all 3. Their price system is borderline scamming. They have these insane prices in the store which they force you to use their site where the prices are literally 75% less than the store. They only price match from their own site? What does that even mean? That's not a price match that's just fraud with extra steps. Put the same prices on your site as in the store!!!! They never have any workers in the store. This place needs to shut down ASAP!!!!

This store has updated hours for some unknown reason. They do have decent priced aquariums and fish food. Yet the selection is very small for actually aquarium stands, which is what I was looking for.Unfortunately, the store always seems understaffed and has a overwhelmingly strong smell of animal urine.

Petco / Pet smart. These places are so high priced you'll do better buying from Amazon. Got a harness for my dog at least $13 cheaper pretty much the same harness never had an issue. Dog treats those prices are a joke. Go elsewhere. Not only that if I ask a question to a person who works there I get a wrong answer.

The employees here are so nice and very helpful. The manager on duty at the time was not so nice. I even tried to tell her how helpful her employees had been and she just blew me off and treated me like I was killing my fish on purpose. My water tested perfect according to their tests and it's my first fish tank. Still 4 stars due to the great non-managerial staff

What a wonderful store! Tge staff is so professional, courteous, and eager to help. The store is clean, easy to shop around for items needed and has many choices. The prices are fair and the quality of stock is top notch. BRAM is the name of the person who helped us, and we were quite impressed with the knowledge and understanding he had of everything in the store. 5 stars, easily

It was good. I went to go get a new light for the top of my fish tank, but it was way more expensive than I thought. Needless to say it stayed there. The guy was knowledgeable and helpful.

This location is the best Petco I have been to. Scott was very knowledgeable and helpful. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful as well. In comparison to other local pet shops this is the best place for your needs. The animals are well taken care of and the store is clean. Prices are wonderful here too.

When it comes to buying fish there can be an employee in the back taking dead fish out. I stood there for 10 minutes waiting on her to say "How may I help you"Nothing as I stood there.Only have 2 guys that are great at helping when we come in the store.If you are looking for fish you nights as well go elsewhere

I drive 15 minutes out of my way weekly to go here because this is my favorite pet shop! The employees are awesome!!! Cindy always makes sure to help us find the things we need & show us new items that fit our pets needs. This is the only place I'll go and mostly because of the employees they are so nice here!

I got here at 6:09 and the door's were locked but the website says that they close @7Pm on Sunday's. It was about 6 other people some with thir dog's also wondering what's going on. They need to change the time on their website because fuel is to expensive to be driving somewhere only to be turned away.

I had my order cancelled Twice. I called each time: first time, no one could tell me why the order had been cancelled. I reordered my two cat condos. Second time, I was disconnected. Rude. Called back and was told that the order was on back order. Gee, why didn't the call center tell me that in the first place? Going back to Chewy

Amazing experience here today! I'm a new puppy parent and was overwhelmed with all the different information online. I walked in and Kate immediately asked if I needed help. I said yes and she was SUPER helpful and knowledgeable! She gave me great recommendations backed with information. I will definitely be back and because of her; when my puppy is old enough, I'll come back to this location, for training classes with her. Thank you for a much more positive experience than I had in a different location!

Cashier seemed incredibly irritated that I decided to sign up for the rewards program I know he was irritated based on his sigh and eye roll which I ignored because we all have bad days. However, when I put my card in I thought I had paid but that was actually apart of signing up with the rewards program. Instead of simply saying one more time please that wasn’t payment he insinuated that I was trying to steal. He was the cashier with the black hair ... the one with blond hair was super helpful and even offered to carry my kitty litter to my car on numerous occasions. I didn’t want to escalate because we al have bad days but hey that includes the customers as well man no need for all the unnecessary aggressions.

Unhelpful staff. We went there to return a cat scratching post we bought last week because it’s broken already. The quality is so poor. The scratching post is designed for a cat to scratch on it and our cat only used for less than a week and robe is loose and falling. We did not have a receipt since we didn’t expect we need a return. But I’m a Pal Rewards member and my online account stores the transaction history and e-receipt. I showed that to the cashier and she said she didn’t know what that it is and refused to give us a return. Seriously? I will not visit this store again. We drove to the Petco in Laurel and the staff was able to do a return for us very friendly and without any issues.

Employees are helpful and friendly. The only problem is we can't find a small happy hut for our conure anywhere. I've searched stores in MD ,WV and Virginia and online. They have been out for quite a while.

I just want to say that my experience at this particular Petco was rather interesting. The cashier Amber and other associate Bram were very helpful although there manager on duty Vanessa was very RUDE taking personal calls at the register as well as using profanity in the work place. I don’t know how a manager is able to act this way in a place of business I’d hate to be a lost customer due to a poor unethical manager

Adoption Day was today, I couldn't focus on what I originally came for because there were so many puppies and seniors looking for forever homes. I came so close to adopting another, I had to leave out the store because I don't have room in my home for another pup & 6 cats. Other than that they have a decent selection of items for your family friend(s).

Travis in the aquarium section was super helpful! He seemed to be knowledgeable about the aquatic plants, and had a very personable demeanor. We also saw him prevent someone from housing 2 betta fish together (very aggressive and will fight to the death), which was a relief!

I we were surprised this time in Petco the store was poorly stocked. The sales floor lady said with the nice weather everyone was in there to stock up. I hope that is the case we like this location and the staff members are always pleasant!

Places closes at 6pm. So normal people who need to get pet supply are #$% out of luck. Why not 10 to 7 or 8? Time to shop somewhere else. They need smarter management....

This location has a very special young lady working there! In the fish hobby big box stores have very low expectations. This location is the exception. The lady that manages the fish department is very passionate and informative. I drive past a PetCo and a PetSmart to get to this location! Keep up the good work!

Never going back there again! I usually got to Petsmart because they have a great customer service, but last week I decided to give Petco a try. Big Mistake. The two Caucasian young ladies at the cash register were not welcoming at all. I was ready to pay and one of them was playing with a customer’s pet and even though she saw me in line waiting, she didn’t bother to say anything and just kept playing with the pet. The other younger lady had a nasty attitude when i asked her a question about a price of an item. It is unfortunate that customers can notice How unhappy the staff is there.
